Stopped in to see what was new at Subway. I went later in the day and it was not that busy. I asked the staff member what was new and he gave me a few details on the new sandwiches available. The chicken, bacon, ranch was my first choice. The spicy Italian melt was my second 6-in sandwich. I liked being able to select the bread to be used. I think I will enjoy the Monterey cheddar with the CBR sub and the herb Italian with the hotshot Italian sub. I also ordered some potato chips. There was a great selection of sandwich enhancements such as tomatoes, onions, tomatoes, peppers, etc. I collected my meal and after about 5 minutes I was on my way home. I was impressed with how nice and accommodating the clerk was. There is street parking as well as a parking lot behind this location. Very convenient to PCC campus. Look forward to my next visit, and a chance to try some other items on the menu. The desserts sound good! read more

Horrible service, ordered a sandwich online when I got there it was cold, half my order was missing. I asked the lady if she could please warm it up, she started arguing with me stating it was my fault for not putting it on the receipt, but I let her know it didn't give me that option for this sandwich, but she kept being combative. then proceeded to rip the wrapper, put it in the oven with the cold veggies ... I then asked for a refund, she looked at her coworkers telling them it was my fault not hers, now I had 3 people yelling at me, i let them know she had warmed up my sandwich that had cucumber and other cold veggies in the oven and I didn't want any of that toasted, she didn't give me an option of removing the veggies, she kept yelling and arguing until she finally gave me the refund. read more

The ingredients look fresh enough behind the glass, though the quality can be hit-or-miss depending on the location or who's working. Sometimes the veggies are crisp and the bread is warm; other times it feels like you're eating a sandwich that gave up halfway through being made. The customization is nice -- if you know exactly what you want, you can usually build something decent. But if you're hoping for flavor that really stands out, you might leave a little underwhelmed. Most of the meats taste vaguely the same, and the sauces kind of just blend everything into a salty blur. That said, it's not terrible. It gets the job done. Ordered simple 6" flat ham, egg and cheese and lady mixed it up with 6" sandwich. Asked for correction and she threw a big fuss saying I wasn't clear and she made a ham sandwich like I requested. I specifically said ham, egg and cheese on 6" flat but continued to argue with me before finally voiding the order and remaking it. Terrible service read more

I ordered from this location the first time today through the app. It was further than I wanted to drive but they had the jalapeño bread I wanted. I put in the comments extra mustard. When I came to pick it up. The lady greeted me and washed her hands immediately. I saw that the food area was just cleaned. I got my order and she said she put in extra mustard packets which I really appreciated! Then I got my soda drink and it was super clean. I was just so impressed by her friendliness, attention to details, great customer service and the cleanliness of herself and the store was immaculate! This company looks in dire need of change from east coast to west coast. There subways are not always true and best of the kinds there are as sandwich joints to my personal opinion. As far as service goes, it appears as though they save time to work harder then help the actual services needed to do so. So wonder when I really blew off at the same guy at the counter many many many times. I've knocked their drinks from off the counter, knocked the workers advertisement off the street with the worker. Well it's a subway like any other. The service here is pretty quick and responsive. But honestly there is much better options around the area when it comes to food. I would recommend going to somewhere else cause it'll probably be better and cheaper than coming here and buying carbs. read more

I would give this location zero stars if I could. They had one person at night and I was patient because I know what it is like to work under those circumstances. However, what I'm not okay with is that I waited over 20 mins and a couple came in after me and the worker told them they can go before me. I informed him that I have been waiting and he told me I have to wait after them. THAT IS NOT OKAY especially because I had already waited way longer then that couple that came in AFTER me. This location is near the city college so if you go at lunch during the week, it will be pretty busy. The employees are pretty friendly and attentive. I have been stuck on the rotisserie chicken but it is best toasted. Other than that all the standard toppings. read more

Review for breakfast only: Overall not that bad of an experience, although today was raining so it may be an outlier. I was in and out within 8 minutes and two people were staffed in the place. I ordered the bacon, egg and cheese 6 inch sandwich on flatbread with some extra veggies (and cheese of course). Happy to report that free coffee also applies for breakfast items before 11AM on weekends too! The coffee is via a commercial Keurig so don't be too amazed at the quality but at least I was able to get vanilla flavored this morning. Also, I thought I had a double lid for the coffee too but turns out it's actually part of a swivel that can stop or allow liquid through (see video). The only down side is that for some reason I felt like the volume of liquid flowing when open was less compared to other coffee cups. Everything was well stocked and clean, and the team seemed pretty chipper despite the weather. The parking was empty and that's probably because it's Sunday and there isn't school. Blatantly, I don't understand how there can be any reviews less than 5 stars for this Subway shop. I'm a regular Subway customer and have ordered from many others Subways in the Pasadena area and non come close to this one. In fact, the service couldn't be 5 stars without the attention of Ruth. On this day, she made 3 sandwiches as requested! My kids and I enjoyed the food and will definitely return for our next round of sandwiches. read more

Came in tonight April 1st at 9pm. The young man working there tonight was giving every single customer A1 service. I watched as he greeted every customer that walked through the door was extremely talkative and not only made a great sandwich but was able to keep conversation going from the sub selection to the register. OK, the review complaining about tax bugs me, because she's dinging Subway for charging sales tax. Restaurants in California can get an exemption for charging tax for take-out food, but they have to charge tax when you're dining in. If they don't they're breaking the law. You're complaining about the law, not Subway. This Subway is a good one! It's been open for maybe ten months now, and the service is pretty top-notch. Most of the time, my sandwiches get made just right. You know the stuff that sometimes happens at Subway: a sandwich that spills everything out right away, or has things distributed unevenly inside -- well it doesn't happen most of the time at this Subway location. Another good thing -- this Subway cuts up real avocados; they don't use that horrible smashed avocado glop that some other locations have. You really can't do better if you're looking for a quick meal near the PCC campus. My only complaint is that seating is very limited in this small location, and some of the tables leave you sitting right up against the people waiting in line. Pretty claustrophobia-inducing. So came in this afternoon. The bf and I shared a footlong meal. The girl, Fanny, automatically gave and charged us for a 32oz drink. We noticed we also got charged tax. Now typically there's no tax. So he asked, why the tax? The response "dine-in tax"!!! What the....really? They charge taxes for dining in. I've been feeling under the weather so I just came in today for some broccoli cheddar soup. I've had this soup many times from countless other subways and I've never had an issue -- until today. The soup had something yellow and stringy inside it with the consistency of plastic. PLASTIC. It was really hard, inedible and disgusting. Who knows how long that soup has been sitting there. I don't recommend eating here if you can help it. There's so many other options around PCC. Go eat there instead! read more

Love subway and their sweet onion chicken sub and trio sub. This location is pretty crowded during to it's location near PCC. Place is pretty tidy and clean despite the foot traffic. Service is kind of slow due to crowd. Don't expect to find a seat. Lots of students seated inside. I'll usually find parking on Colorado or on Bonnie. read more

This is hands down the worst subway establishment I have ever been to! The guy working the counter/sandwich maker walked out of the back room licking his fingers (still chewing the food that he just ate prior to walking out) and just rinsed his hands quickly without washing his hands with soap. When he finally turned around to take my order, I selected my bread of choice and he quickly said they did not have that bread. The next three breads I selected, he stated that he did not have either. He even pointed out what they did have and when I ordered one of them, he turned and said "oh, we don't have that bread." Finally I asked him why they did not make more bread and he shrugged his shoulders and said he didn't care. After finally choosing the one bread he did have, I ordered 2 - 12" meatball subs. He looked at me and said "I only have enough meatballs for one." I kid you not! I know he's not the owner of the place, but at least try to make some sort of effort to provide an ounce of service to customers. Needless to say, I walked out and did not order anything. This Subway owner needs to make sure their employees wash their hands before they serve food, not walk out chewing food and they need to train their employees on how to provide quality customer service, even if they run out of food. I walked up to the main entrance only to find the front door locked. I thought it was a little strange considering that it was only 7 pm on a Monday night and there were people inside ordering. The person behind the counter was waving me away, which I understood to mean "go to the other entrance." but there was no other entrance. After that confusion a patron opened the door, and as instructed by the person behind the counter, they asked me if I was going to purchase anything. Mind you, I know none of these people and I've never been to this location before. I said yes and the person behind the counter asked me the same question, which I also responded, yes. So they let me in. While I was in line, other people started knocking on the locked door and the worker behind the counter personally opened the door for each and every one of them and never asked them if they were going to buy something.
