Such a great sushi spot! We ordered the miso soup and four rolls -- Crunchy California, Philly, Pink Lover, and Red Rosy -- and everything was delicious. The miso soup had great flavor and was loaded with ingredients, which I loved. The sushi honestly felt like it kept getting better with every roll. The Pink Lover was easily our favorite and absolutely phenomenal. The Red Rosy had a really good kick to it, the Philly tasted incredibly fresh, and the Crunchy California was delicious. The restaurant itself is small and cute with a cozy, dimly lit atmosphere in the evening. It was also quiet enough that we could easily have a conversation without having to talk over music or a loud dining room, which I really appreciated. We walked right in around 7 PM with no wait, and our server was incredibly kind and attentive. Parking is a little limited, but that's really the only downside I can think of. Such a cute restaurant! Was greeted as we walked in and then shown to a table. They had happy hour which had a lot to offer. Waters were brought to our table and we put in some appetizer orders and drinks. The 'Red Dragon' cocktail was delicious! Pork dumplings were crispy, chicken karaage was fresh and yummy, shrimp tempura came as a roll which was packed with flavors and topped with spicy mayo and eel sauce (which we loved!) We especially loved the Hachicko roll, my personal favorite! Everything was fresh, service was great, and everything was clean. So glad we stumbled upon this gem! The team was warm and welcoming right from the start. After starting with miso soup, I had the Hamachi Fire, which was easily my favorite dish of the night, and the Hachiko Roll, which was also incredible. My husband had been searching everywhere for a spot with great hand rolls, and his spicy salmon hand roll plus salmon nigiri was perfection. Hands down some of the best sushi in the Valley. We are quite picky on our fresh fish, but the owners Remy and Peter are just as picky. The fish is fresh and amazing. Allan the chief chef created some unique dishes for us with amazing sauces. Ask for a spoon or white rice to be able to finish the sauces! We had two different carpaccios, jalapeño poppers were different than normal and much easier to eat with great flavor. The Takoyaki was excellent along with the Agedashi Tofu dish, the broth is A+ Had Red Snapper sushi as well and it was so fresh and flavorful, I can't wait to return here to try more of the menu I had happy hour deals but the menu seems very unique and it's excellent japanese menu with not only sushi but ramen and katsu dishes so an amazing deal for some of the Japanese I've had in Phoenix lately. My boys wanted sushi before flying home and this place has lunch specials. The poke bowl and sushi roll was a lot for one person. We also got their teriyaki chicken which was not what we were used to but it was really good. The waitress who I think is the owner was super friendly and nice. Just went in and they are currently doing a soft opening. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is cute but relaxed. I sat up at the sushi bar and ordered some jalapeno poppers, a salmon roll, and Cheese Rangoons. The jalapeño poppers were huge, you get four and the jalapeño was specially spicy today but it was so good. The salmon roll was tasty as well, I'm excited to be able to get sushi so close to me. Service was horrible. Walked in at 550-552pm, was sat right away, given the happy hour menu and other menus. The server then said she would be right with us. At this time there was 5-6 tables no bigger then 4 tops in the restaurant. The restaurant had two servers as well. After waiting 3-5 minutes, a server dropped off water extremely quickly and did not ask for our drink menu. At 558pm the original server came to our table, grabbed the happy hour menu and walked away without saying anything or taking our order. We realized she was doing that and likely not taking our order to wait until after 6 when happy hour ended. At 602pm the server then came to ask us what we would like. At that point we decided to go elsewhere. The server was irritated by our reasoning and tried to claim we were only sitting for 2 minutes. I told her that was false and she proceeded to tell us to leave and never come back. She raised her voice during that and made a scene to try and cover up her poor service. After I already said we were going elsewhere. We didn't even know they were in happy hour until she sat us and provided the happy hour menu. I would love to chat with this owner about the service. read more

I love this place! Not only is the food delicious, but I can bring my pup and the owner always makes him feel so welcome by giving him water and lots of love. They have an outdoor patio so our dog can hangout with us while we eat! You can just park in the Muse apartment retail parking and it's such an easy walk over.
