1 Star - Predatory and Unethical Practices This auto shop towed my vehicle and is refusing to release it unless I pay $1,000 in CASH for same-day pickup. They will not accept any other form of payment and are refusing to provide an itemized receipt or any written breakdown of charges, which is extremely suspicious and unprofessional. I was given no clear explanation for how this amount was calculated, no transparency, and no documentation --just a demand for cash. This feels like predatory towing behavior designed to trap customers and pressure them into paying unreasonable fees without accountability. I had a very disturbing experience at this business. I repeatedly asked--calmly and respectfully--for an itemized invoice for a tow. I was initially told the charge for a 3-mile tow was about $1,000. Later, without any explanation or written invoice, I was told the amount had increased to $3,000. When I continued to request an itemized bill, an employee named Danny became vulgar, aggressive, and extremely unprofessional. His supervisor was present the entire time and did nothing to hold him accountable. Instead, the supervisor merely stood by and physically restrained him from getting in my face while allowing the behavior to continue. I have video evidence (shown below) showing that I remained calm and simply requested transparency, while the employee acted in a hostile and inappropriate manner. Refusing to provide an invoice while increasing charges is unacceptable and deeply concerning. This situation could have been avoided if basic professionalism and transparency were practiced. Based on my experience, I would strongly caution others. If you value honesty, transparency, and basic consumer rights, avoid this place. I will be reporting this incident to the appropriate consumer protection agencies and warning others to stay away. btw their shop is rachet and tiny, from the looks of it they can only work on one car at a time, no wonder why they are scamming for money. These people are crooks My wife had an accident 4 miles away from their shop, Tow Truck appeared to the Accident site and told her the car is not drivable and needs to be towed so my wife pulled the car from the accident side to the curbside and the tow truck took the car Not even being at the shop for 24 hours. They charged $600 for Towing $250 for two days and they lowered the front tire so they can charge for forklift very rude. read more

This story begins with my car being hit while parked outside my house. A nice young lady miscalculated her parking maneuvers and cut too close to my car, leaving a big scrape and dent in the front quarter panel and bumper cover. She was nice because a note was left with her info thus taking responsibility for the error and negating a huge headache from myself. Take note people! Anyway, I was on the search for a body shop nearby of which there were plenty to choose from. I checked out many out there and compared pricing and results by examining their layouts. After a long journey into the heart of collision repair places I decided to look at one last shop. I drove down the row of businesses on Pico Blvd and saw the entrance to the titular Metro Collision Center. My bruised Honda and I pulled in and the rest was history. Some days later, my car came out looking better than before with a perfectly matched paint and patina as well as a refinished front rim. Done. End of story. My life improved from this point onwards and I had the unbridled confidence only a man with a Honda accord that shines like a mirror can have. Just kidding. Sort of. The meat and potatoes. Danny is the man. The guy is personable and takes pride in his business. He came out to look at my car and gave me a few options and levels of restoration. This dude could give and take jokes while juggling phone calls and fielding questions from his shop techs. I was beginning to like this guy. He even took some time to show me some high end cars and also a few personable project cars of his. The finish on these cars had no bumps and was flawlessly smooth, which is really impressive. This told me he has a direct passion for the work the shop provides and that, combined with his sincere interest in the job ahead sold me. I was down to shake hands and leave my little princess for her makeover. In the end, yes, the car's paint was matched perfectly. The entire car was cleaned and detailed (don't know if that is standard but it was a perk). Any evidence of physical damage was completely gone. It really felt good to see my car and wonder if I had hit my head and landed in a Honda dealership circa 2008. The shop is that good. The part I like the most though was the environment and good nature of the owner and his crew whom I got to know as well. Good work boys. This one's for you. read more

My 2022 Highlander had been sideswiped and scratched on the corner. The owner Danny worked with me and gave me a reasonable price. When I saw it again, the Highlander was brand new. There was a tiny hiccup where the side camera wasn't working. I called Danny and told him about it and the way they handled it was absolutely amazing. They troubleshot the camera right away and fixed it while I waited. Took maybe 15 minutes. Had my vehicle brought after accident and they kept it for more that half a year... total repairs were near 20k and when I got back my vehicle all the lights were on (dashboard) check engine, brake warning light, collision light. It wasn't aligned and to top it off they returned it with a loose serpentine belt. Our company has a tracker and they disconnected the battery for lord knows what reason. WARNING Come here at your own expense. They will hold your vehicle hostage and try to charge the insurance for storage fees and try to make supplements for non existent repairs. They try to get you mad by testing your patients and then they try and act like victims. read more

Got in my first car accident in LA on my way to work. Literally the day after my birthday. A tow truck came out of no where and towed my car to Metro. On the way there, Al the driver was very friendly and we connected. He reassured me to everything would be alright and they will get me a rental for 5 days at no charge and also because my deductible is 1000, they'll work with me. When we got to the shop, they seemed pretty family orientated. Very patient. My car was there for 2-3 weeks and didn't get charged any storage fee or anything due to my insurance taking their sweet time. Metro Collision Center did right by me. Here's what happened: My 2007 Scion Tc was in an accident where it was clearly the other guy's fault. I had the car towed to Metro to get it fixed, assuming the other guy's insurance co would just authorize the repairs. Turns out the guy decided to lie, and a long drawn out insurance company battle ensued. Not wanting to incur storage fees while the insurance companies figured it out, I went to pick up the Scion. Unfortunately, when it was being moved around on the lot, it took some damage to the driver door and rear quarter panel. Once I pointed it out, Danny didn't try for a second to dodge responsibility. He stood tall and said "we did it, we'll make it right" and that's exactly what he did. Fast and free. The paint and body work matched perfectly, and the car was cleaned when I picked it up. Though we ended up getting the repairs from the actual accident done at our insurance company's preferred shop to get lifetime guarantees on the work/parts, I'd have no hesitation getting work done on my car at Metro Collision Center. read more

I had my BMW towed to Metro Collision Center after my accident. After meeting with Danny he assured me my car was in good hands. Danny was awesome at communicating everything that was happening with my car throughout the entire process and even had a few extra things fixed for me that were unrelated to the accident. Although it took about a month for the repairs it was worth the wait because my car went from looking totaled to looking even better than before my accident! A moron ran into my car whilst he had 15 feet of clear space - he was doing something more important than driving. My car was towed to Metro Collision Center not far from where I live. I was greeted by Vadim who took charge and explained everything very clearly, what was going to happen, how the insurance adjuster would deal with things etc. His clear communication was really helpful, especially as I was due to leave town the next day. I subsequently dealt with both Vadim and Danny the owner. Both were knowledgeable and really helpful. It set up hope for a good outcome. I couldn't have been more pleased when the job was done! AWESOME is an over-used word, but the car was as good as when I first bought it and everyone commented on what a great job Metro had done. On top of being charged a storage fee that I was aware of and agreed to they also charged me a $200 dolly fee that was never disclosed until they held my vehicle hostage and would not release my vehicle until I paid in full. I was told that they would pay for my rental car, they did not. And yes, the reviews that Metro has at least one tow truck that drivers around LA looking for their next victim, it's true. I don't recall if the truck was marked as a Metro Collision truck but I do remember that the drivers name was Eli. read more

This is the worst and most unprofessional repair shop I have ever been to. Maybe those whose insurance is paying for their damage have had good experiences since they can overcharge your insurance company whatever they want, but beware if you're paying out of pocket. They promised all on my car would be replaced and it would be just as it was before my accident. I ended up with a ton of after-market parts including a completely different bumper which they didn't even ask if this was ok with me first. When I called them out on it, they became extremely defensive and rude. They even left off an emblem that was not even damaged in the first place. The worst part was that the same day I picked it up, my car was squeaking and it ended up that the axle was still bent! This place is absolutely awful and only exist to prey on honest people. I've reported them to the BBB. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more
