They made my process of fixing my vehicle hassle free and quick. My car was getting paid by other driver at fault insurance co and they recommended to their own bodyshop, but to get estimates and start working on my vehicle would have taken months with them. Part of my front bumper cover had been pulled off and my splash guard was dragging on the ground. Hadd Customs gave me a quote for less than half of that, and had the car fully fixed in 3 days flat. They picked up and returned the vehicle from NoHo (for no extra charge), charged my Tesla on the way home, cleaned it-- and left it looking totally flawless. They matched the colors perfectly- you cannot tell it was damaged at all. Moreover, they were incredibly communicative, and text pictures/updates throughout the 72 hour period. If I could give 6 stars I would! Needed a part replaced on my Hyundai. New to LA, so I requested quotes from a bunch of body shops for how much to replace this. Was surprised when HADD replied as it seems like a place that specialzes in custom jobs on fancy cars and was surprised they would be interested in my relatively inexpensive job. Aimee from HADD was by far the most professional of anyone I talked to. She gave an exact estimate for how much the part would cost and how much installation would cost. She also accomodated me when I asked that they install it while I wait around on a Saturday instead of leaving it there for a whole day. At every step of the way she communicated with me and kept me appraised of the process. The actual work was done fast and professional by Vincente at the garage. In and out in less than an hour. Visited this gentleman's shop a few months ago and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience. He met me at his shop at the time we agreed and I left my vehicle there. He called me to asses the damage and said he actually wanted to show me what the issue was with my car. He proceeded to FaceTime and and show me in real time what the issue was. It was pretty cool and I appreciate his dedication. In the end he did his best to fix the issue and didn't even charge me for his time because he said it wasn't that big of a deal. I asked Hadd Customs about waiving my auto insurance deductible. While I understand and respect their policy not to do this, that's all they needed to say. Instead they suggested that anyone who DID waive a deductible would provide inferior service or even be committing fraud: "The deductible is part of the repair total and by waiving it means that we won't have enough money to buy the parts and materials. This is what other companies would also have to do in order to waive the deductible therefore would buy cheaper materials, cut corners to repair instead of replacing necessary parts which would cause expensive issues. Not only is this improper repair but could be insurance fraud " This is simply NOT true, it's NOT uncommon for shops to waive deductibles, and it's always worth asking. There are many factors that vary from shop to shop from their profit margin to how busy they are on that day that may make them willing to waive some, or even ALL of a deductible, and it's completely legal.
