Jalal and Waled, the men who speedily came to my aid last night when my girlfriend locked her keys in the truck, were beyond excellent, courteous, quick and not to mention funny and down-to-earth. When you call AAA they usually take their time to get to you but not these two gentlemen, we probably waited 7 minutes, tops and they pulled up and got the job done as quickly as they materialized. I could go on singing their praises but I'll just say that they know what their doing and the people who gave them bad reviews in the past, probably don't know anything about cars and probably wrote a review in anger. One of the Hadley Tow drivers sideswiped me on Harbor Blvd. in Costa Mesa last year. Luckily nobody was hurt. My insurance company found that Hadley Tow had no insurance. It's ironic that a AAA tow truck is not insured. After numerous attempts to make contact with the owner and collect the money for the damages to my car they turned over the case to a Law Firm. After numerous attempts to get in touch with the owner of Hadley Tow (he would not return their calls) they closed the case. It's very disappointing and bothersome that Hadley Tow runs their business like this. Not to mention the fact that the business is being run without auto insurance. That puts the public at risk as well as their employees at risk. Unfortunately, in California the DMV only goes after individuals without insurance, not companies so Hadley Tow can get away with it. I called Hadley Tow because AAA recommended them to help out with a situation that called for a little bit of compassion. Don't get me wrong, I was willing to fully pay for the tow. I wasn't looking for a hand out. What I was looking for was someone to help with a Homeless Woman who's car that she's being living out of broke down. She was in the rain and afraid that her car (along with ALL of her worldly possessions) would get towed away. Despite being willing to pay in full for the tow, the minute they heard "Homeless Person" they immediately claimed that they were "too booked" and "didn't have anyone available". This was after being placed on hold by a worker to talk to their supervisor and a 5 minute wait time where I could just see the manager explaining that they didn't want to deal with it. If I were you, I'd go with "One Stop Towing" because THEY went above and beyond to help and still got paid for it. Imagine that? Perhaps a call to AAA to explain this situation is in order. read more

After posting a bad review for Hadley last week due to an interaction with a really rude and racist Hadley tow truck driver, I am pleased to provide a much more positive review for my latest interaction. I cancelled my AAA tow service with that first, awful Hadley tow truck driver before he even got to my house, and then placed a second request and specifically stated that I did not want Hadley providing the two service. AAA said that A&B Towing would be coming to my house. However, it was Robert, another Hadley tow truck driver, who actually came to my house to pick up my car. Turns out that Hadley, A&B, and some other company are all owned by the same company! Robert was very nice and friendly - such a welcome change from the other guy. So I guess Hadley isn't completely bad, but they need to fire the first guy for being downright scary. Thanks, Robert, for being a nice guy and helping us out! read more

My tire blew out and Jason was quick to respond to my call. I had an interview to get to, and he was very efficient and just a friendly good guy. Originally I was going to take it to a mechanic shop but he knew I was in a rush so he took me to a tire shop as he knew if I had gone to a mechanic shop they would most likely have to get the tire from another facility and that would have taken too much time. HORRIBLE!!! Hangs up on you every time, doesn't keep you informed on anything. Says the tow truck person will call & never does! Every time the call ended they never called back. If it weren't for me calling back after 10 mins of waiting they would never call. Each time they knew who I was on the phone without me saying my name. Poor service, would never recommend. Told me they would be here in a half an hour to an hour. I called after a hour 15 then that's when they said the driver would contact me. Never did. Here I am 2 hours later with no word. Wow! Seriously rude guy that just answered on 12/10@1230pm, the phone on the 562 area code number on Yelp. He said they're closed on the weekend asked me what I wanted and he asked what city is your car and I said Newport Beach he said yeah we're closed we're not open on the weekend. Definitely sounded like I was bothering him. If that's the attitude then they probably should change the number on yelp so that he's not disturbed any more by customers that actually need service. And also maybe change yelp to not say that you're open 24/7. They've responded before through AAA and I had no problems. I don't know what his problem is but they definitely need to keep him off the phones. read more

I'm sick and tired or your employees racing around the streets of Costa Mesa. They drive recklessly down small streets and race each other around in the Prius's and tow trucks. Tonight a Hadley tow truck was driving 65 in a 40 because he didn't want to get behind another vehicle like a normal person and had just had to go much faster then that car to beat it. And this happens with more then one of your drivers. You employ a bunch of reckless jerks. Next time I'm going to video tape it and send it to the proper authorities. I have seen them cut of numerous amounts of people and they have no regard for safety. This is ridiculous and very unprofessional of your staff. It need to be stopped. read more

This is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. Called for a tow and was told 1.5 to 2 hours. After over 2 hours, I called back and was told that they lost my info and it would be another 1.5 hours. Every time I call, they tell me it will be less than 20 minutes. It is over 6 hours since my original call now. I got the drivers number and found out his dispatch sent him to multiple other calls before mine. Despite the fact that they know I have been waiting over 5 hours. They are either incredibly incompetent or malicious. You have been warned. read more

Not sure if I have the correct Location of Hadley Tow but I had to leave a review. I got a flat and called AAA to get it changed out for me. A very helpful and professional young man (wish I could remember his name but it was a crazy exhausting day) called me to let me know he was on his way and again once again when he arrived as I was at work. He checked out the situation, told me he'd take car of it and I could go back in to work and proceeded to change my tire out. My manager went out to just make sure all was ok, which it was. Let me be clear when I explain myself: This review has been written because someone in a Hadley vehicle (white Toyota) drove into my 2nd favorite place in the world and had it shut down indefinitely. I got a flat tire on the 405 south in Costa Mesa while on my way to work and these guys got to me within 10 minutes, took less than 5 minutes to change the tire, and got me to work on time. I had to call AAA three times as my car battery died on me. The first two times someone from Best Towing came out (same guy), and he would not change the battery for me -- both times -- even though I told him I would gladly pay for the battery. He said it needed to say "Replace" on the test strip. It was obvious my battery died because it would not start later in the day (2nd try after the first time he came out). We asked to get a completely different company to come out, and Aldair showed up and did not give us one bit of hassle about changing out the battery. (It was under the three-year warranty.) On Dec. 28, 2017, my car caught on fire on the 73 Toll Rd. I called AAA and they sent Hadley Tow to tow it away. I asked the tow driver, who gave me a ride back near my home, if I needed to give him the title, pay anything, etc. I thought he was towing my car to a junk yard. He told me not to worry that everything would be taken care of and they needed nothing from me that they take care of everything. Then on Jan. 8,2018, I received a notice that I had to pay for towing and storage at an exorbitant daily rate. So I called Hadley Tow 3 times that day and again the next day and explained that the tow driver told me I didn't have to pay or do anything. I spoke with a woman who was in the office. She asked me if I received insurance for the loss. I told her no that it was an older car and fully paid for and I did not have comprehensive coverage, so I received nothing from my insurance. She told me she would check into it. I then called her again 3 more times to make sure everything was taken care of. The impression I got from her was that it was. Then the beginning of May, I received a notice from a collection company representing Hadley Tow for $3,020,000. I wrote a detailed response disputing the charge. Now my credit is being threatened if I don't pay. In my opinion, this is a scam. Had the driver been upfront and honest with me, I would have insisted on having my car towed to a junk yard and given it to them. There were still items on it that were salvageable on it. Unfortunately, I believed the driver on Dec. 28th and the woman I spoke to at Hadley Tow 4 times in January that everything was being taken care of. I don't know why AAA even uses them.
