Another place that has a lot of pros and cons. The service area does a great job. But you are definitely going to pay for it. They charge top dollar for their labor rates. They have a ton of vehicles in stock. Both new and used. But they aren't cheap either. I have looked around and I find that Hagerstown Ford is very highly priced. If you are looking to buy either new or used, you might want to check their inventory online before coming to the lot. Check the other locations around and just compare costs. I took a car there for a MD state inspection because they could get me in quickly and were relatively inexpensive. They failed the car and quoted me $5000 in repairs to get it to pass. Some of the things on the report didn't seem right so I took the car to another shop for another inspection. The car passed with no problems. The other shop went through the paperwork that Hagerstown Ford gave me verified that NONE of the things that they said needed to be done were correct. I reluctantly write this review because I've been a loyal customer to quicklane for well over 10 years but recently I took my truck in for service and was told my brake pads needed replaced which I usually do myself. Unfortunately when I went to remove my tire to do brakes I only had one of my lug nuts on and 3 studs snapped off. When I called in to ask them to fix the issue the associate assured me that the mechanic that performed my service that day would not make that mistake and made it seemed as though she thought I was lying. Then I was told the service manager would call in which he did and left a message for me to call back which I did for 3 days with no response back. I did the repair myself for $60 in parts and 2 hours of my time. I wasn't asking for anything except for them to make right on a mistake and to treat a loyal customer with respect. brought in 2014 ford fusion for 4 recalls. Asked two questions how much a new key fob is told 190ish, wrong was 274. Also asked is it normal for a hybrid to make a clicking sound from the vents, Car is new to me so wasn't sure was told well let you know. Well, that evidently meant that for 169 dollars it is not normal. so, for something that should have cost nothing it was 477 dollars. Very deceiving service department. Another dealership has at least looked at car and said we should troubleshoot that and it will cost this much to do. Also gave better quote for product instead of 190 ish which was 100 dollars off. I dropped off my vehicle at Hagerstown the evening of July 2nd after coordinating with Kyle, expecting it to be looked at first thing the next morning. I provided multiple warranty issues and DTC codes already pulled. Despite that, they did absolutely nothing. When I followed up, they said they couldn't diagnose anything because there was no check engine light -- ignoring obvious issues like the exhaust rattle, malfunctioning windows, mirror LED, and backup camera. When I asked why they didn't use the codes I gave them, they said, "Oh, we didn't drive it." They also promised to drop the vehicle off -- never happened. I ended up driving there myself, and only then did they finally replace a coil to fix the misfire. But after driving back to Frederick, the car was limping, wouldn't go past 45 mph -- clearly still not fixed. I received a call from manager Anthony Keilholtz, who was rude, unprofessional, and even cursed during the call. He blamed me for not giving them more time and sarcastically asked why I didn't fix it myself since I "know how to repair cars" -- my answer: because it's under warranty. I asked for a loaner vehicle -- he refused, saying, "I'm not giving you a loaner." To make matters worse, the car was returned filthy, with grease all over the seats and interior from the technician. They eventually said they'd pick up the car on Saturday. The level of incompetence, lack of professionalism, and disrespect from this dealership is inexcusable. I'm filing a complaint with the BBB. I just drove two hours to buy a 2023 F150 Raptor VIN: 1FRFW1RG8PFA11642 only to find out that it had damage and had been resprayed. Not sure if it was damaged at the factor, transport, or dealer but needless to say I didn't buy it and the dealer didn't disclose it (LIKE THEY'RE LEGALLY OBLIGATED TO). When I confronted them the sales manger played dumb and offered to "get it fixed". After I told them the deal was off, the gloves came off and he treated my wife and me like garbage. It was really uncomfortable. Suggestion for the owner: Tell your staff to be upfront so we're not all wasting each other's time. The worst customer service you will ever experience. My daughter lost her car key- had a tech come and quoted a price. A guy named Kyle called me and told me what was needed and then I very clearly told him they had my permission to do whatever she needed done actually, I was the one that brought it up because he didn't seem to know why he was calling me at all. They then told my daughter they couldn't do it because they never got permission and when I finally talked to Kyle after being passed around for 25 solid minutes, he told me that he never got permission and called me a liar directly over the phone when he knows that he spoke to me and I gave him permission several times in the phone call to do what needed to be done. Every person I talked to passed me around over and over and over again there was never a resolution. I had to retail the story to every single person I talk to. I had to takeoff work early because I was on the phone for so long trying to get to somebody that would offer a resolution. Nobody should have to go through this, especially when you're paying for a service. Oh, and don't get upset because then they'll lecture you about that because who wouldn't be upset after going through this nightmare all day long and their daughter is stranded. My daughter was told that he didn't want to send a check out after 3 o'clock, so that's really the bottom line and then called me a liar. This is hands down the absolute worst dealership and collision center I've ever dealt with. Mark told me my Tesla would be done in 4-6 weeks. Well it ended up being short of 4 months. They had all the parts to fix my vehicle within this time frame but actually ended up breaking the window of my car and then tried to hide the fact that they did it. They were also holding my car hostage because of their incompetence of how car insurance works by telling me "I'm not working on a vehicle I'm not getting paid for" Then months later when I was finally able to pick up my car they said to come in Friday. I have already been burned by this business twice so far with this single accident so I didn't trust them. Friday come along and surprise surprise the car isn't ready. Was told to come in Monday. I come in Monday and the car is still not ready but instead of doing what was right they tried to pull a fast one and just give me my car back. I received my car with dust EVERYWHERE. Completely ruined the interior. I have permanent grease marks all over the inside now which are clearly from someone's hand. Upon inspection of the outside of the car they also tried to give my car back without an emblem from a hood replacement. Once I pointed this out, one of the service guys said "I hate Tesla and their drivers. Why would you even have one of these" well personally I hate businesses that can't act in a professional manner and run a dishonest business. Since I got the car back there has been a knocking noise that I have video of and have reached out and guess what? They are unresponsive to my emails, voicemails and phone calls! I cannot upload a video but anyone reading this I'm more than happy to send it to them. Then next thing that happened is I went to get a state inspection and the upper control arm bushing is totally blown out still from the accident and failed inspection. My Tesla is still incredibly out of alignment as well. I need to have the steering wheel in the 1 o'clock position in order to drive straight. If you want to shell out $12k for repairs but end up having more problems than when you went in with as well as unrealistic timelines and 0 communications this is the place for you! Beware of Hagerstown Ford! I bought a used truck there in April of 2022. Within 5 days the engine rattled for 30 seconds as if there was no oil pressure. I had a 30 day warranty from them for 30 days and also bought an extended warranty. Took it there 3 times and they claimed hey did not kn0ow what it was. I then went Opequon Ford in Martinsburg. As soon as I told them what it was doing the service manager said there was a bulletin out from Ford that it was cam phaser and timing chain problem. I then went back to Hagerstown Ford and they said it could be weeks before they got the parts. My extended warranty said I could get a free rental car but they told me they had none available so I said cal Enterprise and get me one. They said we don't deal with them. Came home and called the warranty company and they said go to Enterprise but they would only pay for 10 days. After going back in they did give me a loaner car. We also were charged $700 to much sales tax and it took a long time to get it refunded. Most recently I made a mistake and took it there last week for an oil change. After an hour and a half they informed me that my front brakes needed immediate attention as there was only 2/32" pad left. By then I was so mad that I told them to just pull my truck out so I could get out of there. The next day III made an appointment at Victory Lane to get pads put on. They came in and said there was plenty of pad left and I would not replace them yet. So apparently they just wanted to screw me out of another $300. I am like the man who hit himself in the head with a hammer because it felt so good when he stopped. However I threw away the hammer and will never go to Hagerstown Ford again. read more

we bought a "certified " pre owned truck that was indeed not certified! we've not even made the first payment and we're driving a loaner from hagerstown ford. the day after purchase we had a list of things wrong (rail dust around the entire truck, plastic wheel well held on by zip ties, hole in the muffler but the biggest and most severe issue was the caliber bolts missing) these ppl sold us a blue certified vehicle we drove down the interstate with our childre. We don't even feel comfortable with this purchase any longer bc what else is going to come up. We go days without hearing anything or get called to come get it when it's not even fixed. Corporate,the better business bureau and attorney general are looking good!And all you get is a sorry, how sorry would you be if we lost all use of our breaks and had wrecked. Very unprofessional and the guys at the counter in the parts building were all just standing around talking to each other and no one bothered to ask me if I needed help. They will not answer the phone, they won't return voicemail and they act like it's YOUR FAULT. More later because my car is still held hostage after 5 days. AND I HAD AN APPOINTMENT!!!!! I purchased the Ford Extended Service Plan that covered me for 6yr/100k miles. The plan, supposedly, covers a car rental from day one of dropping of the vehicle. The extended warranty cost 10% of the cost of the car or $2K. If you buy a car here I would definitely NOT buy the ESP unless it is at a huge discount. If they tell you it's $2K offer $500 or less. Hagerstown Ford has not even offered to do that. Today is Saturday. My car was dropped off on Monday. Not even a phone call from the service department. I called Ford corporate and they authorized me to tow it at their expense from Hagerstown to Chambersburg, PA to hopefully get my car repaired Update: Hagerstown Ford website says their service Dept is open on Saturdays from 7am - 1pm. I had a focus serviced for a recall on the TCM. First I was told the recall had closed and I needed to pay out of pocket. I called ford's main number only to find out the recall was open and was extended to summer 2024. Only then with a case number was I able to get the car in the shoo. The dealer said they did fix the recall However upon leaving the vehicle is smoking. The service advisor stated that I replaced a valve and they are not liable. However no valve has been replaced. Hands down, the worst dealership experience I have ever had. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I made an appointment online and took my Lincoln MKZ in for an oil leak. Two weeks later, I arrived to find that they had no record of my service appointment (despite the email I had showing it). After several days, I was informed that the leak was due to a bad oil pan gasket, and I received a quote for around $800. I agreed to the repair, but several days later, I received a call stating that I had been quoted for a replacement for a Ford Fusion, not a Lincoln MKZ. I was told that the MKZ oil pan gasket replacement required more items such as the exhaust, air conditioning line, etc.) to be relocated to facilitate the replacement of the gasket. Due to the extra shop time, I was informed that the estimate would now be around $1,100. I agreed to the repair and picked up the car a few days later. After receiving the car, I noticed a noise from underneath the vehicle near the footwell when I accelerated. I took the car back, and the technicians said they couldn't find anything wrong. One of them volunteered to ride with me in the car, and I mentioned that it sounded like an exhaust leak during the ride. The technician said he couldn't hear anything and I should bring the car back if it continued to make that sound. The next day the check engine light came on, and I used my diagnostic device to check the code. It showed an error for the O2 sensor, which I still believed was caused by an exhaust leak. I made another appointment and brought the car back. The dealership had my car for several days, and I called over a dozen times without getting anyone to pick it up at the service desk. Finally, one day another advisor answered, and when I explained the situation, he looked up the notes in the system. He told me that both flex pipes had been damaged, likely during the oil gasket replacement. He told me the fix would be to replace the entire exhaust system at $2,200. He also informed me that the parts would not be ready until after the new year (this was late November). I replied that the damage to the exhaust was caused during the oil pan gasket repair and that I should not be responsible for that repair cost. He told me to call back the next day and talk with my advisor. I called the following day and spoke with my service advisor, who said that the check engine code was caused by my mufflers (well past any O2 sensors). When I questioned what the other advisor had told me the day before, he said he didn't know anything about that. Before I left the dealership, my service advisor pulled me aside and suggested I take the car to a local exhaust shop for repair. After New Year's, I noticed oil under my car again, and I called the Service Manager and explained the situation to her. She asked me to bring the car in a few days later and to see her personally. When I arrived, she didn't remember anything about our conversation, and I had to explain it in detail again (she said she couldn't possibly remember the issue with each car). After several attempts to reach her over a weeklong period, she sent me an email stating the flex pipes and catalytic converters were damaged and the engine needed to be replaced due to a misfire code. Jillian told me the repair cost would be $17,000. The KBB private party value for the car is around $19,000, and it did not make sense to make the repair. I told her that there was nothing wrong with the engine and it ran fine. That evening, I received a phone call from a salesperson who offered me a $500 trade-in allowance on my $19,000 car. I contacted the dealership's general manager to voice my frustration, but he never returned my calls/emails. I contacted Lincoln Motor Company, who agreed to pay for a new diagnosis at another Ford/Lincoln dealership. The new dealership looked at the car and said the flex pipes and catalytic converters were both damaged by the oil pan gasket repair (also, they said there was never an engine misfire code). Not only that, but it wasn't the gasket that needed to be repaired in the first place but the oil pan itself had caused the leak. The other dealership made all of the repairs (at an additional cost to me), and the car has been great ever since. From the moment I stepped into Hagerstown Ford, I was ignored and lied to. There was never anything wrong with the engine (I have put over 10,000 miles on the car since then with no issues), and they lied to me to get me to go away. DO NOT GO TO HAGERSTOWN FORD for service or sales. There are a lot of other dealerships close by that will not treat you in the manner that Hagerstown Ford does. read more

I was so excited to get a car at Hagerstown Ford. I found the perfect car for me and couldn't have been more excited....that is until I entered the sales room. I unfortunately was paired with David Sock (salesman) who seems to think it is okay to make racial slurs at me, not knowing that I am indeed half the race he was disparaging. Besides that, Mr. Sock has a routine where when we try to "negotiate" and he claims he has to check the "man in the back". I then watched him walk into another room, drink a cup of coffee, and come back with what his fake "man in the back" has told him. So enough of that. I now find myself months later trying to register my vehicle, but cannot because Hagerstown Ford did not complete the paperwork correctly. After calling and being transferred SIX times (each time being told that my problem isn't their job). I finally got ahold of the General Manager who claims that I will have my paperwork faxed in the morning. We've bought multiple new cars from here over the past 30 years with never a problem...until this car. Bought a new Ford Explorer Limited on 14 August 2021. Traded in my 2017 Ford Explorer and a $20K Credit Union draft for purchase. Received DMV title within three weeks. Title DaiD NOT list lien holder. Contacted the new car title clerk who said "I'll resubmit for corrected title". One month later DMV still has not received any request. Come to find out the title I received needed to be submitted with paperwork for corrected title. Delivered original title, in person, to dealer Monday 22 November. Still waiting on confirmation that dealer has submitted request for correction. In the meantime my Credit Union is telling me if no proof of lien on title within the next 30 days my loan rate will increase. read more

Traveling, we lost an alternator. They thankfully fit us in and got us back on the road 4 days later. However, we noticed the steering was hard and brakes were soft. About 50 miles later, we lost a tensioner pulley and belt. While they changed our the alternator, they put things back together in a way that created a new problem. We also notice a new dent on the door and the center console is broken. I'm happy they fixed the alternator but what the hell happened with the rest of it? read more

Additional update from my husband: "after arriving to the dealership to pick up my tags. They stick me in a small room with the biggest, most buff employee they can find. He holds my plates close to him and slides a document to sign for the registration. As I start reading it he says "You're about $700 in the head" ...huh? I stop reading and ask him to explain what this means, and he just shrugs and says he's not sure. I know he's trying to imply that they are losing money on my deal. I got back to reading before I sign and then he starts telling me he was at work til closing last night, waiting on me to come in and his wife was mad at him for working late. Really dude? Well Mike, you should talk to your buddy Andrew because I told him at 4:30pm yesterday, that I wasn't making it in til today because of a family emergency. Finally I sign the form and reach to get my plates. And before he releases them he says "One more thing, we're going to need you to take your review down." "Which one? Google or Yelp" I asked him. He started to stutter something as he released my plates and let out a "Both." I told him I'd think about it and walked out with my plates. We purchased our Van close to the beginning of the year, paid all the fees for tags title etc; My partner needed to get his MD license before they could process our permanent tags, you know the ones included in all the fees you pay, but COVID hit and the MVA closed down and he was not able to get in to get his license changed over to MD. Fast forward a few months when the MVA opened, we schedule an appointment to handle the license issues but the only appointment we could get was MONTHS out. Finally get in to the MVA and get everything straightened out. Attempt to get our van tags from the MVA but they direct us back to the dealership as they are the ones who need to process everything for the permanent tags THAT WE ALREADY PAID FOR! So we call the dealership. Explain the situation and what the MVA has advised. The title clerk tells us that they will not be processing our permanent tags and that we never paid for them despite the itemized receipt showing that we paid for all our tag and title fees. Jon asks them that if that is the case, he would like to be refunded the MVA fees so we can attempt to get our permanent tags directly from the MVA. The title clerk we spoke with refused and basically tell us this is our problem and to figure it out. I have never in my life been more put off by a business. There is a reason this dealership has such terrible reviews. We purchased a car in 1997 and had a horrible experience. Gave them a try 23 years later thinking they had improved. NOT ONE BIT!!!!! We are now one year after purchasing a vehicle from them having to replace the entire engine! Called the dealership and basically was told we purchased a used vehicle with high mileage, so sorry about your luck. No help what so ever! The car was in excellent condition when purchased and we were not told of any issues. Obviously that is not true. I'm a small business owner that bought a new truck from Hagerstown ford and they was so prompt and quick to get back to me until they got my deposit on the truck. I gave them 5grand down then the customer service stopped. It was a cab and chassis truck so it needed a flatbed. I wanted them to use a company that was a small business and does great work and is very quick on turnaround but they used who they wanted. Then the salesman leaves both keys in the truck and we didn't get the truck on the date that was promised. To top it off I'm now going to pick up the truck that was supposed to be delivered to me at my house. I also had to call the gentleman who was buying my old truck and cancel the sale to him bc I didn't have my new truck. Dropped off truck for check engine light. Person behind counter asked me sit in waiting area for shuttle driver. Sat there for 30 minutes waiting and the whole time the shuttle driver was there. Seen him several times in shop moving cars around in service bay. read more

I came across a used vehicle for sale from Hagerstown Ford on a Sunday and reached out for additional information, expecting to hear back Monday when they were open. Instead, I got a response from Jeremiah Pinacho within an hour. I requested additional photos, and was told he would go in early the next day to get them for me. I was skeptical, but agreed and waited. Only a few hours later, still on Sunday, Jeremiah sent the photos I had asked for. He was in near-constant contact for the next 24 hours, getting me all of the information I needed before making the 4-hour drive to buy the car. I have rarely had a salesperson who was so attentive, frequently quite the opposite. I cannot speak highly enough about Jeremiah! Highly recommend going to him for your next vehicle purchase. Post-purchase update: Jeremiah was just as attentive and timely during the purchase process as he was before arrival, as was Colin in finance. Beware of the 2021 Ford Ranger & the Ford Warranty. Purchased brand new from Hagerstown Ford in Spring of 2021. Before the truck had 1,200 miles on it, the plastic side mirror and plastic beneath the windshield both MELTED while sitting in my driveway. It's obviously a manufacturing defect but Ford has refused to honor their warranty, saying it's an insurance issue. The insurance company says, rightfully so, that it is a manufacturing defect. I purchased the NEW truck as opposed to a used one specifically to get a warranty. Horrible customer experience. read more
