STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. My husband went to this place on November 26, 2025 to sell some Morgan…read moredollars and a few pieces of gold jewelry. Before he went he called the person he usually deals with in LaGrange, NY and was quoted $30. each for his Morgan silver dollars. He previously cashed in some Morgan dollars with this dealer in LaGrange. He then called NY Gold and Silver and they quoted him $33. and change if he brought them in. The price of silver actually went up a bit overnight. He went in the next day and "Janet H." said the Morgan dollars were "worn" and "underweight". These Morgans were in better shape than the ones he had been cashing in at the LaGrange shop. My husband didn't realize until he got home that he was only paid $24.00 each for his Morgan Silver dollars. He could have gotten $30.00 each from the dealer in LaGrange. We emailed NY Gold and Silver in Carmel to explain the situation and to protest the price they paid him. We never heard a word back from them. I am still angry over this and also regret that I did not go with my husband when he cashed these coins in. I would have walked out rather than let them go for $ 6.00 EACH less than they were worth.....he cashed in 24 Morgans so he lost $144.00 on this deal. My husband is such a kind, trusting person and it is DISGUSTING that he was taken advantage of this way. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE, GET A SECOND OPINION.

I was offered $300 for an…read moreold sterling silver setting at Neil Berman gold and silver in mt kisco and they offered me over $1200 for the same exact pieces. . The owner, David Coogle, was super nice and informative. He took his time to explain everything and was very classy. Despite them being a large business and me having a rather small item I didn't have to wait at all. I will be using them in the future for other collectibles and precious metals. They are a gem (no pun intended).
