Tracy at the front desk was super helpful with check in and my questions about jewelry and what not. My one feedback and note would be to mention that visitors do have the option to "try-on" jewelry if they are torn between sizes or colors of jewelry because I think some newcomers wouldn't be aware they could do that if it's not mentioned. My friend asked to try a couple of jewel sizes and that was really helpful with decision making. (By try-on, you are just holding the jewelry piece up to yourself and checking yourself out in the mirror :P ) They offer titanium and gold jewelry here. Many beautiful pieces. They also sell saline spray (for $15 if I remember correctly) which I picked up since I was traveling and will be traveling again. Lacy pierced me and she was soooo amazing! She was really through with her explanations and I felt very comfortable with her. Everything went so smoothly and it was mostly painless - only a pinch in the process but no discomfort after the jewelry was already in. My friends and I left with super cute nostril piercings! Highly recommend this studio. Very grateful and happy with the experience here.

When leaving, i was asked for my information & to enroll in ur $5 off coupon which was at 8:16pm on 4/11/26. almost exactly two hours, not sure which manager looked into that but i did not randomly chose that number. Consultation - Tabitha asked via phone if i was given the option or made aware of threadless vs threaded jewelry, i was not nor was I given the option between the two. (Im assuming since you guys only carry threadless anyways.) Lacy said the piercings could get expensive when downsizing multiple sizes & when custom jewelry becomes a thing (she gave me an example of hers that have a wide flat back) which i understood. I was never told the jewelry on hand would be so flimsy or else i would have left with a spare set. or why wouldnt that be offered if its a known thing that theyre just going to break soon after? "our management team has reached out multiple times" - Tabitha called me on 4/20/26 at 2:03pm post yelp review & asking me to elaborate which i did. she apologized & said she would investigate & immediately followed up asking if i could "take down the yelp review" I initially agreed but im so glad i didnt. All that was asked of me was to pick a date & time & she will have someone replace the jewelry that broke at the el monte location but she would have to call me back & let me know if there was someone at that location who COULD do it & that she would call back. when she called back at 2:38pm 4/20/26 she stated ordering a threaded set would take 6-8 weeks & that she will order my downsize. we agreed on that solution & hungup. Then 4/28/26 Tabitha texts me & there was no solution so we could agree on so thanked her & left it at that (screenshots attached as well) "waived fees" - crazy cause you guys swear this is something special. when i get my nails done & one breaks theyre quick to fix it FOR FREE & not keep reminding me that breakage could happen nor badgering me that IM at fault for it/knew the risks. Theres no fee to waive if i want to put the jewelry in my own face for free which you guys denied me of because u didnt want to mail them to me. "we offered appointments at our other locations with free parking lots" - text attached of Tabithas convo but she definitely stated STREET parking, exactly how the LA location is so.. not sure where the "Convenience & Options" were. sorry it came to this Leo, maybe ask both sides next time instead of just listening to one.

From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly and immediately made to feel at ease. The shop itself is very clean and welcoming. The jewelry is beautifully displayed. I just wish I remembered the name of the woman who helped us because she made such an impression. She walked us through all the options at different price points in a way that felt completely neutral and respectful. There was no subtle steering toward something more expensive. It genuinely felt like whatever we chose was the right choice. Ivy, my piercer, was incredibly thorough and precise. I really want to stress how pleasant and painless this piercing was. I am talking pain level 0 out of 10. I AM NOT MAKING THAT UP. She is extremely clean in her process and talked me through every step so I always knew what was happening. The room itself felt like a doctor's office in terms of cleanliness and professionalism. I wanted to write this because there aren't many reviews here about septum piercings specifically. When I was searching for where I wanted to go, Oak and Poppy kept coming up but I didn't see many septum reviews. Ivy is a true professional in this work. My husband and I got matching tattoos here and for the tattoo itself it's 3 stars. Today, it has been 3 days since we got the tattoo and although the tattoo itself is small, has fine lines, and is on the wrist, it appears as if it has a smear/smudge on one of the corners on both tattoos. This isn't my first tattoo, and my husband and I have been following the after care and have been careful. It's on the healing stage, but you can tell that the corner line differs and there is a smudged area on both tattoos. For both these it was $240 total and done by Chris. I will update this review once the tattoos heal completely.

Not only is this woman one of the most talented humans alive, but she is such an amazing and kind person and getting to be tattooed by her has become such a highlight of my life. When I first met her, I was in a really bad place with my health. I was living with some very serious health issues and was just overall struggling so much and truthfully, I felt like a foreigner in my own body. I first got a Wicked tattoo done by her and when I walked into Supersweet, I was so nervous. I had many other tattoos but I was just in a very vulnerable place and at that time, everything made me anxious. When she sat down with her designs, what she had come up with took my breath away. It was so much better than I could have ever imagined and it was the most stunning design I'd ever seen. As we sat down to get started, she could tell that I was nervous and was so gracious, gentle, compassionate and understanding, and really took her time to make sure I felt safe. This meant the world to me. After that, I was scheduled to have a tattoo with her again, and I needed to cancel bc I ended up having emergency back surgery. She was, again, so kind, loving, understanding and supportive. I have since come in and gotten quite a few more tattoos with her and for the first time in so long, my body feels like my own again and I am excited to look down and see my beautiful tattoos done by her. I fully intend to be her client from now until, honestly, however long she'll have me. Her work is stunning and I have so much fun at our sessions. She is someone I deeply appreciate and I truly couldn't be more grateful for Alexa! She's such a kind human, that my husband, who SWORE he would never get a tattoo started warming up to the idea because he finally felt safe and comfortable and that was solely because of her. I was definitely giving toddler energy by kicking my feet and asking questions and she totally entertained every second of it. We talked about movies, tv shows, travel, music, etc. The conversation totally helped distract from the pain and before i knew it the session was over. I thought parking would be tough, but i went on a Saturday afternoon and found parking relatively easily a block away on Lake Shore Ave. The quality of work is top notch and my tattoo came out exactly as i wanted it to. Chontel is amazing and so incredibly helpful. You can follow her and ask her questions about aftercare. Make sure to get your piercings downsized if they recommend it! It's $10 for the post and $5 for the piercing disc. Whenever Chontel isn't there, Lara is there, and she is also just as amazing and insightful as Chontel! Usually, the piercers are there from opening time until 8 pm, but you can always ask or text them to see if they are in for that day!

Surla was able to accommodate me super quick! I was a walk in and I really needed a touch up on my neck tattoo. He wanted double bands around his forearm and Sam was able to sketch it out and do the tattoo on the same day. We were in and out within 1.5 hours. He explained the process and aftercare which made getting a tattoo seamless and less daunting. I was on the fence about getting a tattoo but my friend said if he got one I would have to get one too. I decided to get a runner with an ekg as I thought it was fitting for me. I wanted something small for my first tattoo and easily to keep hidden from my mom (sorry mom). He asked me to send him a picture of what I wanted and scheduled an appointment for Monday at 11am. Once Monday came I walked over and signed the consent form. He then printed out the tattoo and placed the outline on my chest and asked me if it was where I wanted it. Being a tattoo noob I trusted his judgement. After letting the outline dry I laid down and he began working on the piece. He said since it was a small tattoo and mainly lines there shouldn't be much pain and the healing process wouldn't be as long. It took about 30 mins to finish up the tattoo and the quality came out amazing. There was no pain at all and he went over the aftercare as well. I showed Sam this other tattoo I wanted and he said he would be able to do that as well. He says his art style is realism and anime so I can't wait to get more work done by him. He has been tattooing for 2 years now along with his apprenticeship. He told me to message him when I'm ready for my next piece. Maybe this tattoo thing is an addiction and will keep you coming back for more.

I have been hankering for a pedicure for a while, and not just any pedicure. I wanted something…read moremore therapeutic. My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

Unexpected Charges and Lack of Transparency…read more I booked my appointment in person on Tuesday 7/15 because I wasn't sure what to select online for Gel-X removal. I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

Had concerns with my first gel-x experience. It was painful. The tech didn't listen to my requests…read more I did. I was unhappy with the service but still paid full price and tipped accordingly. I came back for a refill, and two days later was in some of the most pain I've ever been in due to a cuticle infection. I voiced concerns that my skin was being cut, but they were shrugged off. After coming into the salon to show them the infection, the front desk staff was polite and helpful advising they would reach out to the owner and share photos they took of the nail. Days passed and I followed up again via phone as I didn't hear back. The owner of the salon requested PHI pertaining to the infection, including what Rx I was on, in order to even consider a refund. Initially, a gift card for the amount spent on the service was offered in lieu of a refund. I mentioned I was not comfortable receiving another service, and received a call back letting me know the owner was willing to grant a refund. Overall, the back and forth took about a week and a half. I was new to the entire gelx process, and am posting this review to let anyone else looking to embark on that journey know they should ask questions and voice their concerns. There are seemingly many happy patrons, but this was my individual experience.

I have met many tattoo artists and experienced many of their various methods of operation and I have to say Jing is by far the most professional, prepared, organized and genuinely talented artist I have gone to. Her technique is impeccable and her personality lights up the room. I was lucky enough to stumble across her work while on Instagram and I immediately sent her an email to inquire about an appointment. Not only did she reply EXTREMELY fast, but she truly cared about why I was getting my tattoos and wanted to ensure that she was able to make my vision become a reality. I have never been to a more prepared artist--and I would go as far to say that she is the best artist I have gone to. I want to emphasize this statement by saying that I have been tattooed by Romeo Lacoste and he did not have any sketch ready, took months to reply and then another four months to get into, and did not continually check with me throughout the tattoo to ensure it was what we BOTH had envisioned. Jing goes above and beyond your normal artist because she takes pride in her work and wants her clients to be happy which in turn makes her know that her work is done. Furthermore, she does not finish after the initial tattoo. She cares about the quality of her work and maintaining it so much that she makes it a point to state that there will be a two month touch up after getting your masterpiece. Needless to say, I have never had an artist do this! I cannot offer Jing enough praise, as I am truly in awe of her talent and visions. Anyone able to get in to see her is truly lucky and in for one of the best experiences of their lives. Jing, I still don't think thank you is enough for the work you did but I hope this review shows how I acknowledge and appreciate all of the time you put in. Hey guys. just take my word and get your next tattoo from here. i live in hollywood and i have checked almost every single shop around the area and i chose this. I am more than satisfied, infact the best i could ever expect. very clean place, polite staff and awesome artists ( Gloria, Shu and master Hailin himself). I got a really big tattoo yesterday itself from Shu. His work is amazing and detailed. the best thing i like about this shop is that they focus on giving you the best tattoo. Really reasonable price as well i think for such amazing work.. (Ofcourse if you get your tattoo done from master hailing himself it ll be pretty expensive) But i am 101% satisfied with the work Shu did, he designed the whole tattoo himself, i just gave him an idea how i want it and i was blown away when he sent me the sketch he made. So again look no further, this is the best place according to me ( and trust me i have got tattooed from lots of artists as i have a full sleeve already. ) I am so satisfied from my new tattoo that i have already booked another appointment from him this week to get my existing sleeve touched up from him. Wanting a very personal, very Chinese tattoo on my arm I sought out Master Hailin as it was important to me that the artist performing the work have a deep understanding of both the culture and its art. I had the consult with him on a Friday to explain what I was looking for, and what the meaning that the image I wanted held for me personally...all through his interpreter as his English is as limited as my Mandarin is. The consult was on a Friday with the actual appointment being set for the following Sunday. Arriving at the studio Master Hailin took one more look at the imagery we had discussed, closed the folder then proceeded to draw completely freehand the image he envisioned from our discussions. 8.5 hours later I saw the final result and it still completely overwhelms me. Without knowing me personally, Master Hailin saw deeply into my soul and pulled that spirit into the imagery in my tattoo. I want to emphasize that no templates were used, and the detail and artistry that went into it are stunning in both its detail and complexity. His pricing is not the cheapest in town, but I live in the San Francisco area and will continue to travel to LA to have this true "Master" do all of my body art from now on. read more

When I knew I wanted to get a half sleeve tattoo the next thing to do was to find the artist to do it. I had visited the websites of a couple of places but the one that really caught my attention was Hailin Tattoo. I did some Instagram exploration and I stumbled upon one of their artists, Anna. I called the shop and spoke with a super cool and down to Earth guy named William. He was extremely helpful and super excellent at explaining the system and what steps to take to execute the vision I had for this tattoo. Soon enough I had a Consultation, with Anna who was friendly, inviting, precise about what the design was gonna look like, and had amazing etiquette. Fast forward to the final session and I couldn't have been happier with what came out. I have had non stop compliments on it every day since then. I always always always tell people who put it on me too. Anna is an extremely talent and fun artist who definitely goes above and beyond. None the less, through out all of my sessions the customer service was so friendly and laid back and homey. Going again soon for more art. read more

TRUST ME - I've now gotten 8 tattoos, from tiny to large, in 4 different countries by 5 different artists and have never been as impressed with everything - from the skill level, execution, care, shop cleanliness/design, welcoming and professional employees and forthcomingness as I have been at Hailin tattoo. My artist for two small foot tattoos was Gloria and she took the most meticulous care in making sure they were perfect, even though they were very small and many other artists "laugh" at that and don't take them very seriously. She is so talented, just looking her portfolio made me want to fill my body with her work! Haha.The manager, William, is SO nice and helpful, you just want to hang out in the shop even if you're done with your tattoo! They keep it very personal and professional - you'll feel beyond taken care of. I cannot recommend it more. Even though I booked an appointment at a famous LA shop a while ago I honestly don't think I'll ever want to go anywhere other than Hailin tattoo. Gloria, William, everyone - THANK YOU! read more

Listen up kittens, I've come out of digital retirement to write a review, and that is really saying something since I'm a social media misanthrope. But y'all- Hailin Tattoo is serving ink of the highest caliber. I had to. And I'm here to give a major shout out to my artist, Kristianne, who gave me the most beautiful suite of tattoos on my forearm. It was my first time getting inked, and I wanted something exquisite. After seeing Kristianne's fine-line pieces, I knew he was going to be my knight with shining needle. I emailed him my idea and a sample image, and he understood exactly what to do. During our session, he brought the concept to life with the most incredible care and precision. I cannot wait to finish the entire design! (FYI- the top image is a torch, and we'll be adding the fire next, as well as a crystal below the dagger.) My girlfriend and I wanted a specific phrase in Chinese characters for a matching tattoo to mark our one-year anniversary. We're both near 60 so it was well-thought out and not a spur-of-the-moment decision. We did our research and selected Hailin as our studio of choice. We drove about 90 minutes from Irvine to LA specifically to have Meng do the tattoos. Meng couldn't have been more helpful -Brandon was also very helpful on the phone listening to our request. Meng was focused and attentive at all stages of the session. I've had a lot of work done in the Santa Cruz area but I think I've found a new studio now that I've relocated to Southern California. I came across Jing's work on Instagram(@firstjing) and immediately fell in love with her style. I just knew that she's the one I want for my first tattoo. I gave her a vague description of what I want and then she got it all. On the day of my appointment I was very nervous but I can't thank Jing enough for her support. She made sure that I was totally there before she started tattooing. I remember her telling me "Your tattoo is a part of my life just for a few hours but I know it's going to be a part of your life forever, so don't worry I will do my 100% best for you." Everything went super smooth, it barely hurt at all and I absolutely loved the finished work. I wish I had the option of putting more stars. I highly recommend this place 10000%. From the initial phone call to the day of my tattoo everyone was so nice and welcoming! The shop was very clean and comfortable. Based on their Instagram they are all great artist but i have to say Kris is phenomenal!! He was very honest with what he thought would look good and designed a tattoo that farrrr exceeded my expectations. I was only in town for a few days and my availability conflicted with his. So Kris generously came in when the shop was closed to do my tattoo! And it is amazing. His fine line and detail are out of this world. He is an expert at fine line and small tattoo details. Dear John's clients, So I went in this studio to get a tattoo from John a couple of weeks ago. I saw their Instagram page and I thought john was decent and his price wasn't too bad. Never again will I come for him. His sanitation practice is so gross. I'm a physician and at first I thought "he knows what he's doing" but come to think of it now it was SUPER unhygienic.... He prepared his station without gloves... (the artist next to his station had gloves on and repeated changed them... I was crying in the inside). I saw dry ink on the tip of john's tattoo gun which should have been a sign that this guy is off... was that from a previous client?! John, art is important but sanitation comes first. read more

After trying four studios to make a reservation, Hailin was the first and only studio to respond and helped me make my reservation and select Bobo as my artist. The studio was professional in every respect, clean and made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend Hailin to anybody. Bobo was just the best artist. I got tattooed by the artist Jing. She was amazing and obviously obsessed with her art. She made me feel at home and took her time making sure everything was perfect before she even started tattooing. I got called in to work half way through and she completely understood and made sure she had time the next day to finish the tattoo. I am in town visiting with my mom. We wanted to get a little mother daughter tattoo. We googled and found Hailin Tattoo. We were quickly greeted by William who was super nice and made us feel welcomed. He introduced Shu who was able to create out tattoo on the spot. My son and I went to check the place for a consultation for a cover up but end up getting a tattoo done. The place is awesome and has a relaxing atmosphere. Showed him a few AI examples and he had me send him one that he/we thought looked cool. I didn't really put a ton of thought into it just figured "sure. Do your thing with it." I probably should've noticed the AI flaw in the stencil, but, as my regular artist pointed out, he definitely should have noticed, especially since he had the original photo. A little miscommunication but oh well. On top of that it's really really light so I'm going to have to have my normal artist fix it and touch it up. I wasn't even going to leave a review because it's partly my fault, and I don't really care that much, but like my normal artist pointed out, he's supposed to notice these kind of things. Then I realized the only reason I don't really care is because it's somewhere not normally visible. If it was on my arm I would be horrified. I was actually referred to THS by multiple people so I looked into them and found Endry. His work really impressed me and my boyfriend who was also a tattoo artist back in the day. So I booked an appt to have a very simple roman numeral tattoo done under my collarbone. The booking process was actually very easy and the shop worked with me. There's a $200 minimum and there's a $100 deposit that you Venmo before the appointment is made. I honestly found the booking process super smooth and easy. If you can find it, there's metered parking right in front of the shop which is super convenient. I honestly love the vibe of this place. Endry was so kind and welcoming and made my first tattoo the best experience it could've been (also want to note I have a needle phobia so this is a legit compliment). I have since seen Endry multiple times for more extensive work. Endry is truly an incredible artist who really puts care and consideration into each piece. You can tell he really cares about his craft and I have so much respect for that. Working with him has been a pleasure and I look forward to my next session with him. I actually recently got my forearm done with a beautiful fine line floral wrap and I am still in awe at the photorealistic detail in the flowers. I found my artist and my place and I would 100% recommend going here whether it's your first or you're looking to continue on in your tattoo journey.
