My husband on the other hand has had a few tattoos, this is the most beautiful tattoo he has now. His attention to detail is on point and he gave great suggestions that made all the difference in the outcome of the tattoo. He was a pleasure to work with and we will be returning in the future.

Got my tattoo done by Andres at the shop. Gotta say, I spent a lot of time and effort to find an artist I was comfortable with. I came by Andres work on IG and felt like I found the perfect artist for the piece I wanted. We agreed on the piece and I thought he was super confident doing it, when I arrived, that's when he started asking for better quality pictures and saying he didn't have enough info on the reference pic I showed but he made it work. He made a great stencil and did a great job with what he could. My only complaint is, he made a great stencil and even then, didn't trace it as well as I expected. The main circle on my tattoo looks more like an oval and the tattoo is not as symmetrical or as appealing as I would've expected from someone with a high rate/big following. I can tell this wasn't a piece he was super comfortable with or super proud about so I respect and admire him giving it a shot, but wish he would've sent me to someone else if he felt like he wasn't suited or prepared for it. Again, I think it was an off day for him so don't let my review stop you from coming, they still do great work here!

I had gotta a Medusa by BLACKSMITH at this tattoo shop and let me just say that he was no doubt the best artist I've been tattooed by it was my first bigger piece and it was an amazing experience he was so detailed and really took him time with the sketch and the tattoo. Very professional also. I highly RECOMMEND him took more than 4 hours and didn't take any breaks for real he was so gentle I think I might if fell asleep at one point. With all that being said BLACKSMITH won't steer you wrong

Got a tattoo from Manu a few months ago while Manu was in the middle of starting his LA empire. Every artists in the new shop is really really good, which is hard to find at a tattoo shop. He's surprisingly quick, but super detailed. Ever since I got my hand tattoos, there hasn't been a day that I don't get a compliment on how bad ass they are. Next up getting my knuckles done from Manu's wife who does super clean and detailed pieces and then my back piece by Artur. Did I mention the new shop is completely unique from most LA tattoo shops?! I wouldn't waste my money with this guy, specifically the owner Manu. He is someone that is not passionate about tattooing anymore. I came to him because he had good work, but it seems those days are past him. When he was tattooing, he didn't care about the quality of his tattooing. He kept stopping every 5 minutes and then wouldn't stop talking about his other business with his employees instead of focusing on the tattoo he was doing. Never responded to my inquire to at least finish the tattoo, ghosted me. Ended up making his persona IG to the generic store IG and never heard from him again. Sucks because there are a lot of talented artists there. read more

Got my tattoo done by Andres at the shop. Gotta say, I spent a lot of time and effort to find an artist I was comfortable with. I came by Andres work on IG and felt like I found the perfect artist for the piece I wanted. This review is for Marty. By far the best tattoo experience I have had. He and his shop far exceeded my expectations. The first thing you notice when walking in is the shop itself is very clean, and you can tell all the artists there take pride in their space. Marty was there to greet me and made me feel very comfortable right away. He is an awesome guy with a great energy, which to me is important because we spent about 12 hours together (multiple days). He is so fast but never it felt rushed. Clean lines and color saturation without damaging the skin, and super smooth color blends. His artwork is AMAZING!! All I did was give him the skin to work with and a couple ideas, and let him create. Do yourself a favor and come here. Pay for a quality piece that will last a lifetime. It's on the healing stage, but you can tell that the corner line differs and there is a smudged area on both tattoos. For both these it was $240 total and done by Chris. I will update this review once the tattoos heal completely.

I sent an email and was able to go the same day after work. Alex was very professional and even checked to make sure that the piercing was actually closed from the back despite the front part seeming normal. It was :( but! It was quick and mostly painless. I was there for a max of like 15 mins and I was out the door. If I want to get another piercing, I would definitely come back!

They used outdated jewelry that is banned in other states and did not properly educate me on the rate of rejection for the piercing. I understand that what a person wants a person should be able to get but I also feel strongly about it being the professionals job to make a customer aware of any pros/cons about the piercing and use the correct jewelry.

I have been hankering for a pedicure for a while, and not just any pedicure. I wanted something…read moremore therapeutic. My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. And thanks again for the massage therapist recommendation. Rest and recovery, here I come!

If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

Lisa is continuing to harass me through multiple accounts. At this point, I have warned Lisa that if she or anyone affiliated reaches out to me again, I will have her served with a Cease & Desist and will have her license revoked. In addition, I will continue to seek out the business. This is unacceptable and whoever is the manager of her, needs to rectify this whole situation. Someone needs to put her in her place before this slight hiccup become the major downfall in her life. She's losing her mind and I'm not the one. One bad apple will spoil the bunch and there is much more people who will support my view. I will have the whole LA county including the news outside of this tattoo shop. I'm a business oriented individual, so let's not make this more serious than what it needs to be. I left my review and washed my hands with Lisa; but she is insisting to continue with the drama. LISA, STOP WHILE YOU HAVE THE CHANCE. I AM GIVING YOU A SOLUTION, NOT AN OPTION. I wasn't expecting to get a tattoo yesterday but I happened to walk by 10 thousand and as soon as I went in, I knew that I had to get some work done there. While I was waiting for my tattoo artist to draw my piece, I overheard another artist telling their client how sacred of an experience getting a tattoo is because of the amount of energy exchanged. I don't know about anyone else but that sort of thoughtfulness is always so comforting because it means that the artist not only honors your body but, also understands the amount of trust that it takes to allow someone to be a part of your body's life story. At that moment I felt like I was making a really good decision by getting some work done here. So, as the story goes, I was blessed to get paired with Blacksmith and now I don't see myself going to anyone else for work in LA! I gave him a photo of what I wanted and let me tell you...he went ABOVE AND BEYOND! I felt comfortable enough to let him put his artistic touch in the piece and that was the best decision that I could have possibly made. I could tell right away when I saw the print that he was going to slay the piece because the detail, the vision, the way he listened to my idea and ran with it completely exceeded my expectations. I was blown away before we even got started. He was also super friendly and I had genuinely good time working with him. 10/10 would recommend! I got my first tattoo which was done by Ale. Super amazing and professional experience. He takes his time to do his best work, make sure you like the design and makes you feel really comfortable.
