I've been growing out my natural gray but I still have a lot of brown so I'm mostly trying to go for a cool toned bright blonde/white so it blends more with my roots as they grow out so I can go longer between appointments. I don't want my hair to look like a natural gray, I still want it to have a pop and feel current. Deborah was honest about what would work in our video consultation, as well as with pricing upfront. She also told me how to take care of it moving forward and what is need to do at home to maintain the cool tone. I've had multiple stylist and all good experiences but some I liked more than others- Phoebe, Gabby, Scar, and Iannkel are my favorites. I show them inspo pics of what I want and they work their magic. I love the products they use in my hair - it always smells so good when I'm done. It's that dry bar signature scent. I will say I've been to other dry bars like in Palo Alto and SoCal that didn't do a great job but I've had great experiences at the LG location. Now it's been 3 weeks to which I called and was told I'd get a call back in 5 mins or so when the manger was in. (I didn't) so I called back the next day and was told I had to wait for a manger to call me back, I've never received a phone call. What's really annoying is both times I called the receptionist thought she put me on hold and didn't so I sat at the phone and I listened to her talk to whoever she was about my situation both annoyed with me I guess? But talking negative about a customer in front of me was crazy. I've never asked for a refund for service but being $90 and my hair was completely straight and I have pictures with time stamps because I was so excited for the appointment and I was keeping everyone I knew up-to-date on the progress and the way I was treated and ignored left me super bummed. When I finally learned about DevaCurl I started using its products and they left my hair looking ok, not as good as the ones on YouTubers that review it but passable. I was due for a cut so I decided to look for someone to help me and I found Christina on the DevaCurl website. I'm so happy I contacted her. She is an amazing person and super down to earth. Before she even touched my hair she had me fill out a paper with the things I used to style my hair, my hair texture and what I expected to get out of this experience. This was a first for me. Once I sat on the chair she examined it and asked how much I wanted cut. I thought my hair needed a big chop so I asked if 3 inches were enough to make my hair look healthy and she was surprised, she said she just needed to cut about 1 inch to achieve that. OMG!!! Usually hair stylists cut much more than I ask but not this time. Onces she cut my hair, thought me how to wash it and what products work well with it. She also thought me of the products I should use to style it. I'm super happy with the results. Now my hair has volume, shape and it's super easy to style.
