I tend to leave with more inches of my locks cut than I initially intend going in, but it makes for healthier hair. My mom gets her hair done by one of the owners, and I know she's happy with her cuts as well. From what I've observed, the SDV team is caring and meticulous about their work and they do stellar jobs. I can only speak to the regular wash, haircut, and blowout as I don't get any special treatments done, but you won't be disappointed. Depending on who you get, just be very clear about the length you want. They're also conscientious about your street parking costs. One time my meter was about to expire, so someone immediately went out in the cold and refilled it for me. So nice. Overall, Salon de Voeu is a top-notch salon staffed with some of the most professional and talented hairdressers you'll find. Highly recommended!

I should have left when she said she doesn't cut dry but I was desperate for a trim and I wanted bangs... I ended up with my hair being cut about 4 inches and my bangs were butchered and cut so short they don't even lay flat or fit on brush. I think she knew what she did because she said she didn't have time to blow dry my hair because she had another appt coming. My hair is naturally curly and I let her know I wear it curly and flat ironed straight... I said I didn't want a lot cut and I lost about 4 inches in length. Beware she doesn't cut in one straight cut... she's a trimmer . She continually keeps going back in trimming. So when you look on floor the bits are so small you don't realize how much is gone. Until it's to late.... I DO NOT RECOMMEND.. IM POSTING PICS SO YOU CAN SEE HOW IT GOT BUTCHERED. These pics are ABOUT TWO WEEKS AFTER CUT. I was too angry once I got home and dried it.
