My daughter went here to get her hair colored and straightened. She has thick 4b hair. They were able to take her the same day which cause a little issue because she hadn't Brushed out her hair. Stacy did an amazing job cutting and styling my massive, thick hair. I haven't found anyone else in the Houston area that I trust to be able work with my thick locks (and I have had my fair share of mushroom shaped short haircuts...). She probably cut off a good 6-8 inches (hair was down to my elbows) and asked for my input every step of the way to make sure I was happy with the length and look. I showed her a couple pictures of the length I wanted and that wavy hair style that I can't seem to manage to do on my own with a flat iron. She also managed to make my awkward in-between short and long bangs actually look great in framing my face (had bangs this summer that I'm growing out). With shampoo, conditioning, haircut, styling, the works, total was $50 (not including tip). Definitely coming back! read more

This was my second time trying this salon, I came in for a hair cut and a little color, highlights on the ends of my hair. I showed the lady a picture of what I wanted, and she suggested doing the highlights a bit higher than I what I wanted I though maybe she would go up to half way my hair. Anyways 5 hours later my whole head is blonde and silver and patchy. I straighten my hair three days later to see the mess ups and you can tell it's choppy and uneven coloring. The lady didn't even ask my hair history before starting. And to add on the teasing of hair to get highlights was the worst pain I've ever gone through. After 3 years of not coming here, I decided to give them another try today. I should had known to stay away, my hair was so choppy! I came in asking for a simple haircut. I asked Stacy to trim my hair to my shoulder. The initial cut was a bit too long it was still longer than the length that I wanted. I ask her to cut it a bit shorter, this is where it went down. I can feel the scissor so close to scalp. I knew something was wrong. When I feel the hair on the back of my head it was 1.2 in (from root to end; picture is attached). It was so short!!! I ask her I didn't want a high-low bob. She told me "ohh no I know it's straight.". Also, not only that it was a 20$ hair cut. I thought they would improve if their prices were higher than before. This place is great! I've been getting haircuts from Stacy (aka Suong) since I was a little girl and was never disappointed with the results. We came so often that the ladies there are like family friends to my mom and aunts. Since then i've also had cuts from Tina and a cut/color from Rose. All of them do amazing every time. Worst place ever I went there to bleach my hair and the Lady that bleach my hair drop bleach inside my eye no cap there was bleach in my eye and then she took me to wash my hair and she took chunks out of my scalp scratching me with her long freaking nails and then she bleach wash me twice and I'm telling her because it burned really bad and she didn't listen then she put toner in my hair and I told her ma'am it burns really bad Please wash it off she continue to tell me go outside and smoke so I went outside and I smoke my cigarette and I came back and she was doing another ladies hair bleaching them and putting highlights I sit there for maybe 30 or 40 minutes waiting for her to come and wash the toner out of my hair to remind you she put bleaching my eyes she was Hella aggressive pulled my hair bend my neck in uncomfortable ways so she could bleach the top I told her you're hurting my neck she scratched my head and took chunks out with her long ass nails it's been two days and my head feels like a helmet because I have over 10 or 15 blisters inside of my head and I still had to pay her $250 never go to her her name is Tina she burned my scalp she burned the back of my neck my ear in the back is full of blister you can see in the picture because my ear is swollen from the bleach all that red became a blister read more

I've been coming here to get my hair cut for the past like 5 years now. They usually do a good job. My only piece of advice for girls is to always tell them to cut less than what you intend. Cuz I feel like they always end up cutting more than what you say. For example, if i want to cut 5 inches off, I tell them 3 inches lol. That's usually worked well for me. I've been coming here for years, since I was a sophomore in high school -- over 5 years ago. Tina is my "go to" hairstylist. She knows exactly how to work your hair and frame it accordingly to your face. She has never disappointed me in any of the styles she has given. She's very sweet and willing to listen to what you want. She also gives advice, which shows how attentive she is. This place is WAY cheaper than any of the other salons out there, but the quality of the cut is just as awesome!! I've even had my hair permed at this facility, and people have complimented me. Must warn you to ask Stacy(?) or the owner/manager to do it, because my mom had someone else do it and they really messed it up for her.
