While I understand the rationale behind their policy, I have been a loyal customer for twenty years and have never encountered an issue like this before. Therefore, I requested if they would waive the fee this one time. Unfortunately, I was informed that they could not accommodate my request due to the timing of the cancellation. It is disheartening to realize that the establishment would prefer I come in while contagious rather than make an exception in light of my circumstances. Customer service, in my opinion, includes the ability to consider individual situations and make reasonable accommodations when necessary. Given my longstanding loyalty to the business and my history of adherence to their policies, it is disappointing that they would choose to prioritize strict enforcement over customer care.
