I ended up really liking this little spot for haircuts because it's one of the few places where you can still walk out only paying fifteen dollars with tip, which is almost unheard of these days. Stella and her mom run the place together and they are incredibly quick at what they do, so much so that I've seen people waiting in their cars while someone gets a trim because it takes that little time. I personally prefer Stella, and she's there from Sunday through Wednesday around lunchtime when it's not too busy, which works perfectly for me. I'm pretty picky with my hair, and while I usually stick to a chain salon like Supercuts when I need something more polished, this place is my go-to for routine cuts when I don't have an event or anything important coming up. Stella even explained to me how to grow my hair out in a way that would blend better with my beard, which I appreciated even if it wasn't exactly what I had in mind. For twelve dollars though, you really do get what you pay for, and considering the price it's still an amazing deal. I used to live in Diamond Bar when I first discovered this shop back in my medical student days, and I still find myself coming back when I want something quick and affordable. My partner comes here regularly, and I've even brought my sister before, and everyone has been satisfied with how fast and straightforward the experience is. I'm giving it four stars because while it may not always give me the exact detail I want in a haircut, the value, speed, and friendly family atmosphere make it a spot worth checking out. Unbelievable! I went here for the first time and there were 3 people ahead of me. It only took about 15-20 mins before my turn and there's only one female barber/one chair. At first i thought it would take longer for me to wait. The guy before me only took about 5 mins. And my haircut only took about 6 mins which usually takes longer from where i usually get my haircut and it ONLY costs $12.00.(But Cash Only). Others cost about double or triple. Thought I would try the haircut here as I could walk from home. I had to wait a few minutes for the previous customer to be finished up. I asked for about a quarter inch off and clippers with guards were used to cut off the right amount of hair. Initially it seemed like a lot of hair was being cut off but the length, once completed was right. I was asked about the length of sideburns and eye brow trimming.
