Skeptical at first, I found this place after reading many Yelp reviews. Good & Bad. I decided to take a chance and scheduled an appointment today. When I got there, they greeted me & took me in right away. Before getting washed up, Kimmi, the stylist consulted with me on what I wanted. I explained what I wanted & what was going on with my hair & she suggested we cut my hair dry so that she doesn't cut too much off and can work with what I want better. I think it was Ruby, who shampooed my hair and she was great. She had a very "cool" personality. We finished and Kim got started on me, she blow-dried my hair pretty d*mn well. She started to snip and shape & I felt completely comfortable. I told her that I wanted a v-shape in the back & she said ok but also kept me updated on my length because I wanted her to cut all the "dead ends" but keep as much length as possible. She did exactly that. I couldn't stop touching my hair when I left. It felt stronger and looked great. $80 later, but it was worth it. I did ask about the 15% off at the end for new clients, & she said that for Kimmi they can't use it but I can use it on a product. I passed. They should take that picture down if it doesn't apply to what it says. Other then that I will definitely be coming back for more with Kim!!! read more

My first visit here was not good. I called on a Saturday to get color done and was given Therese. She was nice, but I was incredibly unhappy with my hair. The cut was horrible and the color was even worse. I wanted an apricot gold color, and left with orange and bleached streaks, with some areas in my bangs that she didn't even color. It was just a mess. And the haircut was awful. I waited a week to see if I felt better, but I still hated it. I called the salon to see what could be done. Before offering me a refund, they wanted me to meet with the owner, Claudio, so he could assess my hair. Needless to say, I was booked with him less than 2 days later. He and Jaclyn fixed my hair color, but even the "fixed" haircut was terrible. I will NEVER return. read more

Hello Hairem, Thank you again and again for taming my unruly hair! Before the amazing Jaclyn gave me a Keratin treatment, I knew very little about that modality. I had been getting my hair straightened by a wonderful stylist since 2005, but when her salon closed during the pandemic, she moved out of state. I was truly afraid to let anyone else straighten my hair because she had used a very mild version and said most stylists just do not do it that way. I heard a little about keratin treatment and got very lucky to find Jaclyn and Claudio - Jaclyn's keratin treatment is actually far better for my hair than the straightening - even though it does not straighten, per se, it gives my hair the youth it needs to hold a nice flat iron that makes it actually look like I have real straight hair. My hair flows and bounces and the flat iron I do each morning takes about 4-5 minutes to look good. In all my 80+ years, no one has ever cut my hair as perfectly as has Claudio! Jaclyn and Claudio are the best anti-aging treatment I could ever imagine! People now guess my age as 60 - I love it!! In my very educated opinion, I honestly believe that Jaclyn and Claudio are the best stylists anywhere in California - and I feel lucky and blessed to have found them!
