    Haircut before and after.

This is a new hair salon just open up in the neighborhood so I decide to give it a try. Not only they surprised me with new haircut styles they even recommended some products to help maintain/treatment for my hair. All the staff in the shop have positive and cool vibes. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is interested in or looking for new haircut/ make over to come here!!! I'll let the pictures speak itself. Hairstylist by Alvin..

Shanti!!!! Shanti used to cut my hair when it was *super* short, before the pandemic. People would stop me in the street and ask me where I got such a beautiful, flattering pixie. Two years went by and I've been growing it out, got a bad shag cut that I've been suffering under--bad chunky layers, stringy weird Vienna sausage curls, just weird. Finally went in to see Shanti and he's just such a magician, I barely have to say anything and he just gets me, did exactly the right thing, fixed me, evened my layers, set the groundwork for an elegant grow out. Thank you Shanti! And to anyone needing a bad-haircut fix OR an amazing pixie--this is your guy.

Awesome haircut with Shanti- he was professional, knowledgeable, expert at his craft. Got me in and out and looking great. I hadn't had a haircut since 2020 February so he really took the brunt of it and did a phenomenal job under the circumstances lol. Thanks so much HairSpot!!!

After my hair cut and color with gorgeous Ariel (aka The Queen of Color).

Highly recommend this hair salon. It's new and in a great, easily accessible location. I followed Ariel from her previous salon 'cause I consider her the Queen of Color as she is, hands down, the best at color treatment. She also gives a beautiful hair cut. What I love most is that she knows her clients and their tastes and she spends time and thought to give you the best experience leaving your supremely satisfied after the visit. The salon is new and very clean. Pricing is good too. From what I've seen, repeat customers have followed the other hair stylists to this salon. All great signs!

I miss this salon every day!…read more I came in with very outgrown and brassy balayage that I didn't have the time to keep maintained until my visit. My poor hair was neglected for too long, and I was recommended to see Arielle. I was pretty nervous - I have thick Asian hair, and lots of it. My hair isn't easy to work with, and many stylists in the past have failed to meet my expectations as a result. I came in knowing what lightness and tone I wanted (Goldwell, beige pearl/beige ash). Instead of telling me that she couldn't get me that light in one sitting (which is what I expected to hear since it's the response I usually get with someone new to my hair), Arielle said let's do it and started working on my hair after the consultation. Arielle absolutely nailed it and gave me even more than what I was looking for - my confidence back! I didn't add a blowout to my service as I knew my salon visits were always very long (5 hours on average) and I wasn't planning on doing anything but roll around on my couch for the rest of the day. She wanted to give me one anyway - probably because my hair just looked too good not to style and photograph! I've since moved after my first visit with Arielle. If I were still local, I would 100% continue to see Arielle. Since seeing her, I've never been fully satisfied with my balayage at other salons and with different stylists. Nobody has done it like her - even when I've used my after photo as my reference photo. Again, I miss this place every day. I wholeheartedly recommend Vidov and Arielle.

She really worked her magic because the stylist before tore me up and I left the salon feeling like a brand new woman with the confidence of a superstar. As a new client she made me feel right at home, took her time educating and familiarizing with my hair goal. She's so attentive! Charismatic! Sweet! And talented! You won't be disappointed.

I have given this salon several chances over multiple visits because I know finding a salon that…read moreknow how to handle curly hair is challenging, but unfortunately, my experiences have been very inconsistent. For anyone with curly or wavy hair, I would describe the service here as very hit-or-miss when it comes to curly hair. My most recent appointment was especially disappointing. **Haircut** I booked with Michael Bergela, a master stylist, for what was supposed to be a simple trim. Instead, he cut my hair significantly shorter than I requested. This is the shortest my hair has ever been in my life, and I left feeling extremely insecure because short hair is not a look I feel comfortable with. I had clearly expressed that I prefer to keep my length. When I raised my concerns, I was essentially told to go back to the stylist who had previously cut my hair because there was nothing he could do. That response was frustrating considering I had just paid almost $500 and was leaving extremely unhappy with the result. We started with my hair completely wet, which made me nervous, but I tried to trust the process. I asked for my bangs to be blended a little more, and somehow that resulted in a substantial amount of length being removed from the rest of my hair. At the very least, I would have appreciated a warning that this was going to happen. I have seen plenty of people with long hair and bangs, so I still do not understand why so much length needed to be removed. I came in with length that stopped middle of my back and left with shoulder length. **Hair Color** Frank handled my color service. I intentionally wait a long time between appointments to minimize damage, meaning he was working with a significant amount of virgin hair. I explained exactly what I wanted, but after the color was completed and I was sent to be shampooed, Frank left before even seeing the final result or asking whether I was happy with it. I had been in the salon from around 11:00 a.m. until nearly 6:00 p.m., and after all that time, I was disappointed to see noticeable damage and a balayage that looked much thicker and less blended than I had requested. **Styling** Fiona did the initial styling. I have 2C/3A wavy-curly hair, which is not an especially difficult curl pattern to work with. However, my hair was left extremely frizzy with almost no curl definition. It honestly looked like I had rolled out of bed. After spending almost $500, I should not leave feeling like I could have achieved a better result at home. I expressed my concerns to Fiona and specifically pointed out the frizz and lack of curl definition, but she made no effort to correct it and simply LEFT AS WELL. By this point, the salon was nearly empty because most of the stylists had already gone home. It felt like the focus was no longer on providing good service but on getting me out the door. A second person, who I believe may have been an intern or assistant attempted to style my hair. She seemed very nervous, and I genuinely tried to be patient and kind. In fact, I found myself guiding everything how to style wavy/curly hair because I wanted to leave with my hair looking presentable. Michael even handed her a brush that was completely inappropriate for curly hair styling. I really just wanted to take over so I can leave already at this point. I am sharing this experience so that other curly-haired clients can make an informed decision. My most recent appointment left me with hair that was shorter than requested, more damaged than expected, poorly styled, and left me feeling far less confident than when I walked in but the issue wasn't just the hair itself, but how the staff handled my concerns. Instead of anyone taking the time to address my dissatisfaction or attempting to make things right, each person simply left, said there's nothing they can do and to go back to the person that previously cut my hair. I am not the type of person to leave negative reviews but I paid good amount of money and felt very insecure of my hair for days. Hoping I would get used to it but I'm just waiting for my hair to grow back now and doing a lot of hair masks.
