My daughter took her son to this place today but they were late. She spoke to woman that told her she was going to be late and the woman said she can't see her. My son-in-law is out of work so I gave my daughter the money. This very mean A/H woman also told her that since my daughter prepaid she will not refund her money. I will be going there myself to get my money back. I will also file a complaint with the state's Attorney General office and the Plymouth Police department. Don't go her they are ASS/H's. read more

We had my daughters 7th bday here! It was AWESOME!! The ladies who did the girls, well let's just say I'd ask them to do my hair for my wedding! Super cute, fast! They provided goodie bag stuffed w girly stuff. Not cheap candy. Lip gloss nail polish, stickers, and of course some candy. My daughter had a jojo ciwa theme. One of the ladies took the time to research her, made huge bows for the girls hair and even but mini fabric bows on the cupcakes! Highly recommend them for a little girls party!! read more

I have taken my son here twice and he loves it! They have little kindle fires attached to the kids seats and they provide a spill proof bubble container for the kids to use while getting their hair cut. They are quick and efficient and at the end if the hair cut she lets your child pick out a small toy. Very cool place! My son has never liked getting his hair cut, but does very well here! read more

Aesthetically nothing fancy about the salon or location itself, however, had a great experience with Ashley who cut our 2.5 toddler girl who was definitely not enthusiastic to get her haircut. Ashley handled her anxiety perfectly not ignoring completely and not feeding into the dramatic behavior. My daughter former first haircut and it set the bar for a positive haircut experience from here on out. She also put these adorable braids in her hair and gave us a certificate and lock of her hair for a keepsake. Will be going again. I never write reviews but felt the excellent job deserved some praise! read more

My son, a 2 year old toddler, is usually very fussy but he actually had a great time getting his hair cut. The owner (Ashley) was so sweet and patient. She also has tablets at each station, gives put lollipops, and a toy when they're done. I highly recommend this place for kids. read more

I took my 2 year old twins here today fearing the worst after having a horrible experience at another place with my older son. Ashley, the owner, could not have been nicer, more professional or better at what she does. Ashley did an excellent job in a short amount of time. This place is incredible! I took my 3 year old cousin who never lets anyone brush her hair (and as a result, has year old matts and knots in her hair), and Jasmine did an amazing job with making her feel comfortable and was very gentle with her hair. Took our 2 year old twin grandchildren- boy/girl, here today for their first haircut. Their mother said they would not stand for a haircut at other places and had given up. Well this place is outstanding. They sure know how to handle toddlers. Althought the twins were not happy about having the haircut they tolerated it and it looked great. The operators and owner Brenda sure knew how to handle childlren. They did love the after haircut activities- free toy, lollipops, and Princess life size cutouts. The place is a little hard to find- it is actually behind Sports Authority at Exit 5 (who would have thought) once around back there is a side road to other businesses including this one. And the cuts were just $15 each- well worth it considering the challenge of cutting toddlers. read more

My kids (ages 7, 6, 4 and 2) are regular customers of Ashley's. She does a fabulous job on their cuts and the amenities for the kids (TV playing Disney Jr., Kindles during haircuts, prize out of the treasure chest after cut, etc.) are well worth the $15 price tag. We also had my daughter's birthday party here last year and it was a great time! The girls loved having their nails/hair/makeup done and walked the red carpet to disco lights in their own "fashion show". Hairy Tales is a great place for kids and ideal for those 10 and under! read more

The location is a little bit out of the way but the salon itself is inviting. We've been several times and most of the time, everyone has been quite friendly and the cuts have been pretty good. The kids get excited about the kindles so it makes the process easier. At our most recent visit, the staff member was less than wonderful with the kids although the cut came out great. It must be difficult dealing with kids in that context all day everyday and my kids may be sensitive but everyone deserves respect. I felt that that may have been lacking at our last visit. We won't be going back but I'd still tell others to give it a try. read more

Brought my niece in for a pixie cut. We were in and out in less than 10 minutes - not exactly a good thing when talking about a haircut. The owner was really nice, but she left the hair wet so it was hard to see the real cut. When it dried, it was a mess. Bald spots in the back, uneven sides, mushroom shape/not blended well. I ended up taking her to Caliente the next day and paying for a second ($5 cheaper) cut. If you just need a really simple trim, this place is probably fine, but I wouldn't attempt any type of style. read more

Great experience getting my two granddaughters hair braided for family photo shoot. Stylist was fast and friendly. Also watched her cut boys hair while waiting. She was super fast and did a great job. I have hairdressers in the family so I know great cuts when I see them. I highly recommend this salon. read more

Cute atmosphere but awful job on the haircut...wanted my daughter to have a cute bob and the hairdresser just hacked her hair off. Completely uneven and no techniques whatsoever. Honestly I think I could have done a better job myself. If you want anything more than a trim, do not go here!! read more
