I would give this 0 stars if possible but Not worth it !! I don't know about these good reviews said on here but on Jan 9 2026 I saw these good reviews and came to this shop I had to replace my catalytic converter. at first the shop owner was nice and welcoming told me he can help me he told me the price he told me pay upfront so he can order the part, I payed even including the labor which came up to $1955 he said he'll order the part and told me he will call me when it arrives. ok he then called me on Monday of the following week and told me he couldn't find the part and that the new part takes 4 to 5 business days to arrive and that I need to pay $427 extra, at that point I was very hesitant but still decided to go through with it because he looked like a genuine person. I told him to send me the details of purchase to confirm things, he left my message on read I contacted him the next day he told me he wasn't at the shop and when he arrives there he will send me the info . so that was Wednesday he contacted me Friday sending a photo of a catalytic converter in a box that clearly showed that it was used after market old and rusty, at that point I was seeing clear red flags I then nicely told him I want my money back he then told me he can't give me all my money back and can give me $1000 crazzyyy right. I couldn't believe it I then told him am gonna have to call the police if you don't give me my money back, he then offered for me to come in the shop and he'll give me a check so I then drove there. when I arrived at the shop he then still has the audacity to ask what's wrong with me ?? What do you mean what's wrong with me ? You're a scammer and wasted my time.!! I know this is a very long review but guys becarefulll this place is a scammm!!!! read more

Great service... Very friendly family owned business. Fixed my car on a Saturday. Had a problem with my automatic transmission. They diagnosed my car the minute I came in on Friday evening.. My wife needed someone to diagnose and fix a misfiring cylinder on her car. HAJ was very conveniently open on Sunday so we thought that we would try them. While the shop's surroundings are very modest and don't necessarily inspire confidence, the work they did was great and we will be repeat customers. They were very methodical and thorough like old-school mechanics. They isolated the problem by swapping parts between cylinders until the problematic component could be identified. They ultimately discovered a dirty fuel injector, so they cleaned all 4. Their prices are reasonable and they did not rush. We also never had pressure to buy unnecessary parts and services. We're happy to have found a good mechanic in our neighborhood. read more

My back window motor died on a drive home from rafting over the weekend so after driving 2 hours in the heat, I scrambled to find a shop that was open on Sunday. My boyfriend came across HAJ so I swung by and they were able to not only take my car in immediately to assess it, but they also fixed it that same day; all within 2 hours. The guys were very nice and based on my conversations with other people who've gotten the same thing done on their windows, the pricing was reasonable. My only complaint was that the waiting area is pretty uncomfortable but if you're getting picked up while your car is in the shop, it's not a problem. read more

I was visiting and they were open late on the weekends. My car had a pump leaking from the power steering causing it to overheat all kinds of stuff. Jose and me didn't really get much to talk about cause it was dark and late but we had an idea. I've never been to a mechanic before, I had no idea about fees and all. But him and Ali walked me through it and even though my budget was so tight this time of month he helped me get my car fixed so I could head home. I was looking to fix my accord. Ive went to a few mechanics and they all were giving me the expensive solution without understanding the issues. The car had a hard to diagnose issue that caused intermittent engine shutdown. The issue itself doesn't show up in the diagnostic code so I was worried if I go to the dealer I would just get charged alot of money for basic maintenance and get brushed away. The owner of this auto-shop is a 40 years veterans mechanics and a real tinker. He was confident he would be able to fix it. I was a bit skeptical initially because we didn't find the issue when I was there. But just within the few minutes there the mechanics already replaced a dead bulb and did a thorough check and suggested a reasonable plan to tune up the car. After long deliberation (still not knowing the root cause of engine shutdown) I left the car on his promise that he will not stop until the problem gets solved for a fixed and reasonable labor cost. In the next few days the owner did a tune up and replaced few internal parts. I took the car back, but the problem happened again the next day. He happily took it back and this time he did a bunch of test drive. After experiencing the issue himself, he found the problem and replaced few more parts. He test drove the car for one day to make sure nothing happens again. It's been 2 months now and the problem hasnt occurred since. I am pretty happy with the experience at HAJ and I would recommend others to consider here before going to a dealer! read more

Excellent work. Wonderful dispositions. Honest folks. Nice, friendly owners--3 brothers! Good workers. Very accommodating to squeezing me in "in a pinch!" Priced competitively. Huge savings from having your dealer do it! And somehow, I always feel like the dealer is incentivized to find more things wrong with my vehicle. I don't feel that way about HAJ Auto Maintenance. They bend over backwards to get parts you need quickly, more reasonably priced, and finish your job quickly! I plan on taking all my car maintenance and repair needs to them from now on. I simply can't afford taking my car to the dealer! read more
