I am a great fan of Hakka Chinese actually all Asian food We have been to this place before so decided to try it out so called them for take out ordered dry chilli chicken and veg Hakka noodles When we got home and opened the food it was shocking The noodles had very little to no veggies I could see a few shreds of carrots and an two pieces of cabbage They were like plain steamed noodles with lots of soy sauce It was really sad The chilli chicken was tasteless and undercooked We could not eat the meal even though we were really hungry I think their Nepal ese food may be good Not going there

Chicken Steamed Momo's , veg chilli Momo's and the veg Manchurian is a must try! This place is definitely one of the good places for Momo's. Aside from the Momo's we tried the chicken thupka which is basically noodles in soup which was equally good. I would say the chrispy chicken was very average. About the service - it is good approximately 20 mins wait time but worth it. Dine in seems to have started since noticed few tables occupied indoors. Ample parking space outside. I am definitely going back to try some more Momo options on the menu next time.

The service was prompt, the food tastes okay . Can't say about ambience because it was a pick up order. Good Indian hakka taste. My main complaint is that the food gets very chewy after a while.

Munchaow soup is very tasty, proper indian-chinese flavour. Must Try! Veg manchurian dry were too good. Sriracha chicken dry were ok as chicken pieces were dry but marination was good. Veg momos were ok in taste. Service :Good and quick

Came here on a girl's night out with my sister, and we adored the place!! I was feeling a little under the weather, so chose not to order anything too strong in flavour (curries, spicy soups, etc.). I therefore chose the steamed chicken momos, while my sister ordered the goat curry with a side of steamed basmati rice. I loved my momos! The inside meat was seasoned perfectly, with a slight but not overwhelming touch of curry flavour. The garlic sauce was absolutely delicious and fragrant. My sister's goat curry was also very good! It was unlike the curry we're typically used to in that it had a more sour taste with yogurt. There were generous chunks of goat, and so much food in general that we ended up taking it home. Will come again! Very rarely can we find authentic Nepalese food in the Mississauga region.

Finally tried this place today as yelp was showing me this is the nearest Hakka place. Got the chicken corn soup and chicken Manchuria Noodles for take out. I place an order over the phone and when I went in 15 mins later my food was ready to be picked up. The soup did not have much chicken, broth flavour or salt in it. Hence I added some hot sauce, pepper and salt to it. As far as the noodles were concerned they were pretty average as well. I asked the guy over the phone to make them mild instead of spicy which the menu stated. Even though they were mild they did not have any flavouring to it. The portion size on the other hand was ginormous. It could literally feed 4 people. Living in Mississauga and having been to much better Hakka places I unfortunately will not be returning to this place.

Cute spot for casual Hakka family dining! We had the veggie spring rolls, Manchurian Vegetable Pakora in gravy, Szechuan Vegetable Noodles and masala chai (tea). The spring rolls were the usual frozen and flavourless kind, served with packet plum sauce. Sad because I'm always on the lookout for a good spring roll! I will skip them next time. The Manchurian pakora dish was solid. The gravy was tangier than I was expecting, came with a plentiful amount of pakoras, and was very much enjoyed that evening and the next day as leftovers. The noodle dish was delicious. I also happen to be a noodle addict so when I find a good one, I'm gleeful! The dish is red but it's all colour, it's not spicy hot. The flavour is primarily a pronounced soy sauce one and it's very tasty. The noodles were cooked to the perfect chewy texture. I usually am a stickler for crispy noodles but I was very pleased with the texture and was very happy we ordered it. I only wished there were more veggies. The dish was 95% noodles. Overall, the food was good and not that spicy. Note that the dishes were cooked to what HK called "medium" spicy. Maybe we'll try "hot" next time! Portions were huge! We will be back to taste their Nepalese and Indian menus.

I tried their Veggie Steamed Momos. it was a take out. Filling was so tasty and momos were steamed to perfection. Box of 9.99 plus tax was accompanied by two different sauces. Overall a great experience for a vegetarian foodie like me.

Was provided a hot lemon infused cloth to clean up prior to going up to the stations to eat. Cup never emptied without an ask for refill. Very attentive the entire time. We were sat in the 'C' dining area area. There were room upon room so there's plenty of seating. Each room with a slightly different theme. Ours had a wall of beautiful fish tanks. The dining area, food stations and bathrooms were all very clean, which is so important at a buffet. They even have gloves at the end of each station in case you didn't want to touch the serving utensils with your bare hands. The variety of food goes from everything you can imagine at a Chinese buffet like sushi and fried rice to American options like burgers and fries, to surprises in-between like New England clam chowder and prime rib. Tons of dessert- hard ice cream, cakes, pies, fruit, jello, even Crème brûlée and waffles. One of my favorite surprises was the variety of mocktails. Most places offer me pop as a mocktail or a Shirley Temple at best. Decent pricing. Father's Day special dinner menu was $50/pp (Canadian) about $36/pp (American) which is pretty great for all you get and that's WITH their high tax. I believe the refular pricing is about $10/pp less. A must try only 30 minutes from Western NY.

They were quite busy with takeout orders which I took as a good sign. We ordered the Beef Sirloin Noodles level spicy and numb(4/5), Breaded Shrimp (5/5) Seafood Fried Rice (4/5) and Lamb Skewers (4/5). Beef Sirloin Noodles were delicious. The broth itself was not overly salty compared to other places we've been to. I enjoyed the addition of peanuts to this dish for that extra crunchy texture and nutty taste. The noodles were cooked perfectly. They were bouncy and chewy. The beef itself was good. Some were a tad bit chewy. I wish there was more bok choy. We'd also opt for extra spicy and extra numb next time. Breaded Shrimp was enjoyable. You can't go wrong with this dish. It was crispy, and the batter to shrimp ratio was decent. Seafood Fried Rice was good as well. Again, we liked how it wasn't overly salty. We were able to sense the taste of the seafood. I wish they added more scallops since we only got two pieces in the whole dish. Lamb Skewers were satisfying flavour-wise. We really liked the seasoning on them. It was on the chewier side but it was manageable. We'd like to try their other skewer options next time. Overall, such a good spot for affordable and delicious food. I'm glad my family recommended this place. I'd like to point out that a customer was being problematically entitled and rude yet the female server stayed professional. I thought she handled the situation quite calmly which I wanna commend her for. P.S. The restaurant has a sign on their door saying not to bring pets inside. So please read this and try not to bring your pet inside to avoid looking entitled and rude.

It is a nice local spot to get your Chinese food cravings fixed. Their menu seems to be the same for all locations, the only difference being the price, all locations potentially the same other than the downtown location. See their website: https://www.congeequeen.com/menu.php and select your location. It has been a while since we have eaten at the Congee Queen outside of the Toronto (Dundas/Yonge) location, so we were a bit surprised at the price difference (8-10% difference). This location (Heartland Town Center) feels like it has the right price for the menu. With cash, you also get a 10% discount. We were here on a Wednesday for an early dinner around 15:30 - 17:00 and it was about medium full for the main area. People were coming and going at a good pace. For our group of four, we ordered: - B3 Salmon Congee $11 ($12 downtown) - H11 Chicken Salted Fish Fried Rice $18.25 ($19.75 downtown) - K34 Fried Bean Curd with Veggie $19.50 ($21.50 downtown) - K42 Salt and Pepper Squid $16.50 ($18.25 downtown) - K53 Fried Chili Turnip Cakes $13.75 ($15.00 downtown) Service was a bit slow, but not the longest as there were only 2-3 staff taking orders that day for about 15-20 tables. If you signaled for assistance, they will come. Once ordered thought, the food came out in about 5 mins and all the dishes were ready soon after. Tea is refilled on request, just ask. As usual, the fried rice and congee is what they are known for, it was excellent as usual. Depending on the group you go with, YMMV, but for our order combination, this usually works comes out at the same time and everything is hot and tasty. The turnip cakes are the softer type and they even accommodated checking for shrimp. They are usually good about seafood checks. All in all, great experience. With the discount and tips all in, it was less than $100 total at $25 per person. It has been a while since we've eaten out with a group at that price point. Will keep in mind to meetup at any of the non downtown locations in future.

This location is on the small side and the seating is quite limited. That said, whenever we come here Sunday afternoons, we never have trouble getting tables during walk-ins. The staff is always attentive and we never have to wait for much long for the food to come. They always ask you if you want water or tea. Usually also get a bowl of seaweed soup with your order (per person) though this time around we didn't get any. We ordered a lot for dinner. For appetizers, we ordered the braised pork pan-fried buns, which were amazing. The bun was really fluffy, and the filling was flavourful and just the right amount of juicy. We also had chive pork dumplings. These were also good, though I admit I prefer the pan-fried ones. In particular, our dumplings came out kind of gummy. We had some scallion pancakes which were nice and crispy, and very flavourful. Then, some dried beancurd sticks that were just the right amount of spiciness. Do keep in mind the beancurd sticks are cold (it surprised me the first time I had it). Finally, we had some honey garlic chicken wings. They fry their chicken wings really well, and they don't overdo the sauce which is great. We did have trouble fitting all of this on the table since we ordered so much. We managed, but just keep this in mind if you like to order a lot of appetizers. We each ordered a main. My boyfriend had the lemongrass chicken with egg on rice, which he enjoyed. I also enjoyed my Taiwanese braised pork. My pork dish was amazing and they cooked the egg really well. I was missing my time in Taiwan so I ordered the Taiwanese Braised Pork and Egg on rice. We also ordered Pumpkin Pie with Red Bean Filling, stir-fried rice noodles with bean sprouts, Juicy Chinese Pork Burger, and their Juicy Cheese Beef Burger. Everything was quite good especially the Chinese Pork Burger. The outer shell was so crispy and the pork meat was so juicy and was seasoned just right. The Taiwanese Braised Pork rice was good but definitely not as good as in Taiwan lol. Also, if coming here, you have to try their signature pan fried buns. That is what they are known for. We didn't order it this time because we've had it a bunch of times already. Overall, this restaurant always hits. It's not the most amazing food but like the name suggest, It is very home style comfort food.

I've lived in Toronto, Durham, Peel and I can definitely say its been the hardest to find goood late night greasy Chinese food here in the Port Credit end of Mississauga. I'm still on the hunt! Customer service here was great. I called asked a few questions, than went in and grabbed a menu and went back to my car. Called over the phone and ordered she didn't know it was me and asked if i knew where they were located which was nice. So My order was General tao chicken ( we usually get chilli chicken but don't like it dry, prefer the sauced up spicy, so this is the equivalent at some places), chicken balls, chicken fried rice, and chicken wings. The total was about 40$, which is fair and the portions were alot less to what I was used to. The general tao chicken was not even a little bit spicy, even though she said it was so that was disappointing. On top of that the breaded part of the chicken was extremely soggy and the plate was full of soggy over cooked veggies underneath. the chicken wings were fried and greasy tasted great and well seasoned. Just not like what I'd usually get from a Chinese take out place as it just looked different the way it was breaded and fried. The rice was in a really small container w under cooked pieced of chicken that was very slimy and white and the rice was very bland. I had to overkill w soy sauce and bit of red sauce. Lastly the chicken balls of course 80% balls 20% chicken but tasted fine, just nothing special. I mean it was cheap and last minute but i definitely feel like i would not have ordered here if i had known cheap or not. They have alot to improve on or mayb they are better at making other items listed in reviews from others. Not sure how they have 5 stars. but hey to each their own right!
