It did seem like a busy day for them as the order took long, but the staff were really nice and apologetic. This is located in the back of PSU, near the field. There is street parking around the corner - the parking lot is for PSU use. The food was average for me. The beef had a good char and the sauce added some great flavor. I did feel like the beef and plate itself ate slightly sweet for me. Maybe it was sumac? I liked the onion slices, but feel like the side of pickled vegetables added too much to the plate for me.

Great price, decent sized Shawarmas, a little off ratio with the fries and protein though. I wished…read morethere were just a bit more fries and pickles. There was a lottttt of sauce, quite overpowering. However being located on/near the college campus, I feel it could still be a hit. Especially on late nights. It's the only food joint that I saw in the area. No seating strictly for them since it's a food truck but there are nearby areas you could sit. Parking nearby, not sure how strictly enforced it is though as it's again, on/near campus.. The service was a little slow in my opinion while they did not seem busy. Not sure that I'd return but it was worth the try!

We didn't have a reservation, but there's was room at the bar alongside the kitchen. That's always the best place to sit because it's like getting a show with dinner. Speaking of dinner, it was excellent. We started with a roasted eggplant dip served with a round, fluffy pita bread. So yummy. Next came falafel with tahina and green S'hug sauce, which gives it a spicy kick. The six falafel balls were light and airy, not dense and dry like lots of falafel we've had in the past. Finally, we ended with chicken shawarma, a wonderful confit chicken dish, nicely seasoned, sitting atop large pita pillow. We just folded it up and went from there. The service was fast, friendly and efficient. They suggest ordering two dishes per person, but you don't need to. Three dishes is plenty (even two) depending on what you get. We washed it down with a pilsner beer and homemade blackberry soda. The portions are generous. We'll definitely go back and sample several other dishes.

First, I wanted to note that while the menu shows pictures of fries, the fries are actually jojos! They are yummy but just know they do not serve traditional fries. I got the beef arabi and would rate it 4/5! The meat and jojos were pretty good! I would prefer a little more tzatziki or garlic sauce inside of the wrap but overall yummy! It was more than enough for lunch and I ended up reheating it for a full lunch the next day too. The jojos weren't as good reheated but the wrap was still yummy. The lamb over fries was 4.5/5! The sauces were good, as well as the jojos. The meat was solid but felt like it was a little light for the price. Omar's is a bit pricy but the food is good!

Came here last week and there was an older slender gentleman. I ordered and paid, he must despise credit cards. The minute I paid he started complaining in another language. Very obviously upset at my payment. He barked "15 minutes!" And went to make the grub without another word to me. When it was ready I walked over, he didn't even look at me, just dropped the bag and walked off. I got home and there was no green sauce for the arabi, no pita for the humus and no fries for the arabi side (I think this was a misunderstanding). Love these guys but I hope this isn't the new regular.

But the atmosphere is friendly, the service is great, and I am convinced this place is genius. My burger was probably the best I have had, ever, across countries, grills, and more. The patties were well seasoned and the toppings were amazingly fresh and spot on. Tomato, lettuce, red onion, bacon, cheese and all in the right proportions. It was a masterpiece! The fries were also perfect. Golden brown and crispy without being over cooked. Perfect saltiness where you could not stop eating. Just a great meal that was super well priced for amazing food. I was not hungry when done. It is like paying cheaper than fast food prices for fresh, cooked to order food (because as a market everything is made to order)!!
