    Place always clean, customer service always on point, food never disappoints. I use to only get the rice and chicken platters but after trying my son's burger one day , i was surprised with how good the burgers were here too. I even ordered a small side of fries and they gave me a lot actually. i'll be back (;

    We stopped by here Saturday Afternoon for lunch. They are easy to see from the street. I looked them up on Yelp and with their good reviews we decided to stop by. They are in a shopping center with a private lot so there is plenty of parking. They are next to Mountain Mike's. They only have 4 booths available for seating. It was lunch time and I was afraid it was going to be packed, but we lucked out and only 2 of the other booths were taken. We ordered the gyro with lamb. It was good. The lamb was chopped up into bite size pieces. It came with lettuce, tomato, and sauce. It was really good. The only negative thing I have to say is due to the pita is so soft that it was falling apart in my hands. The cashier was very friendly and brough our order to our table. Hot tea is only 99 cents. A great deal if you are in the mood.

    Passable middle eastern fast food in west Sacramento. The restaurant was near my hotel so I stopped by to pick up a lamb gyro ($9.99) and then headed back to my room to eat it while watching the 49ers-Cowboys on Sunday Night Football. Food was prepared quickly and they kept the hot sauce out like I requested, but otherwise it was mostly lettuce and onions and a LOT OF white sauce. Won't be coming back.

    YUM! I ordered the lamb gyro w/o the spicy sauce, and wow--it's so good. Tbh, the only way I enjoy lamb is in gyro form, and this one delivered. It's super flavorful, and the tzatziki (the white sauce) just makes it even better. I placed the order thru DoorDash and picked it up since it's just a 2 min drive from work. They're fast, and the staff were super friendly too--definitely a win all around!

    Apologies for the "oops I forgot to take a pic and I already starting eating it" pics.. I got the Chicken Kabab platter, the chicken was Soo GOOD! Juicy, flavorful, and tender.. the rice was soft and perfect! That green sauce was amazing! I don't know the name, but it has a slight spice, but it's perfect with the chicken. I do believe the salad can include more cut veggies, there was only one tomato and 2 cucumbers.. the plate came with 1 pita bread piece. I ordered hummus, it was more on the plain side. But thick and creamy.. I'd highly recommend this place!

    Happy to report that Sac now has even more viable options for fast casual halal restaurants! After eyeing this spot for a while, I finally made the trip to West Sac to try this place out and oh boy I'm so glad I did! First things first, ya can't go wrong with the prices. If you're like me and thought the pictures of platters online seemed on the smaller side, you're forgetting that other dimension because these platters are DEEP. They're about 3/4 inch thick and at least half is from the protein. The other half is a lovely fragrant rice that's so good you can kiss that cheese-looking yellow rice from Halal Guys goodbye! I'd also like to quickly mention the onion rings - they taste like the ones from Burger King and that isn't a bad thing whatsoever (IFYKYK). Overall, this will now 100% be at the top of my list when I'll inevitably have that lamb and chicken with rice and veggie combo craving that I'm sure we all do.

    Huge portion size, affordable price, and quality taste. Not your Halal Guys in NYC but I still give it a 8.5/10. Definitely will be adding Halal night to my weekly rotation. I ordered takeout so can't speak about the service but the ambiance looks great.

    I love med food so I decided to try this place on DoorDash. I wanted to try mixed platter since I'm on low carb high protein diet, I decided to go with combo plate with no rice, also falafel and my fav dessert baklava. First the steak was overcooked and very tough to eat, but chicken wasn't dry seasoned well and delicious, it was my first time for Chapli so I have nothing to compare but it was ok, the salad wasn't fresh and neither was pita. Falafels looked different but it was good and I liked their yogurt and green sauces, baklava was ok but it was too sweet. I wouldn't get the combo plate again but I might try mixed platter if I decided to order food from them again...

    Suppose you're looking for a quick and yummy meal. And you're in the West Sacramento. Halal Bros will be one of the best choices. Most of their customers, I believe order their delicious meals to go because the dining room in Halal Bros is pretty big. It can hold many more tables than they have on both sides of the wall. A vast dining room center area is not being used. I ordered the mixed platter. It tastes excellent, has large portions, and is inexpensive. I'm immensely enjoying it in their very comfortable dining room. The lady at the cashier counter is fast and friendly. She doesn't talk much. But handle the jobs nicely!

    Solid spot! I visited Halal Bros over a weekend on a whim when I was hungry and in need of a quick bite. My needs were definitely met here! When I arrived, I was the only customer, so I was able to look at the menu and quickly order. I opted for the lamb gyro, onion rings, and a fountain drink. The employee behind the counter gave me my cup and I grabbed a table to wait for my food. Small gripe: the fountain drink cups are really small. Like what would would expect a kids size to be at a fast food place. Not a big deal if you're only drinking soda while you're there but otherwise not a very useful "to-go" cup. Anyway, back to the food! My order came pretty quick and looked great. The only rings were a decent portion and came breaded with what appeared to be panko. They were nice and crispy and came with a pinkish sauce - I'm thinking a spicy yogurt based sauce? Not sure what it was but it was also good and the color was awesome. Onto the lamb gyro wrap: also solid if a little smaller than I'm used to. I've had my fair share of gyro wraps over the summer and Halal Bros's wraps are on the smaller side BUT they are also on the inexpensive side, so it evens out. The wrap itself is great and definitely something I'd order again. One small observation: the tables and seats are a little awkwardly placed. I needed to scoot my table closer to my seat to really get good use out of it. If I'd been dining with someone else, we would've both had an awkward seating situation. Not a big deal, but something to consider if you're planning to eat there with a group!

Samoon is an Iraqi white yeast bread shaped like a diamond or a canoe. The origin is likely from Georgia then brought to Iraq by Armenians immigrants. The first baker to make this bread in Iraq was named Simon, which translates to Samoon in Arabic. My CHICKEN KABOB SANDWICH on Samoon bread with house garlic sauce was so delicious! You have your choice of garlic sauce or tahini sauce, but Hameed told me that the garlic sauce culturally pairs with the Samoon and the tahini sauce with the Pita. You also have your choice of toppings: lettuce, tomato, cucumber, onion, and pickles. I think the yummy default is to order everything, but I said all but the onion. Wow, who knew that dicing cucumber elevates it to a new level of taste and texture! I mistook it for zucchini. I am all eager to order or make Jerusalem Salad or Israeli Salad now, a salad prepped with those same toppings, except the lettuce. Restaurant is uncomfortably warm with the bread oven, but nothing beats eating food freshly baked and prepared, so I decided to eat my sandwich there. There are just a few tables inside. No outdoor dining. Most people order to go. The savory PIES come in two shapes: a large round and a smaller diamond or canoe shape. Given I have been dreaming of Georgian cheese bread, Adjaruli Khachapuri, for years, I opted for the boat shape and got one MEAT PIE and one CHEESE PIE. The meat was spiced. I heated each in the toaster oven for a few minutes. Fun to eat! Very reasonably priced. I googled the Middle Eastern word for hand pies: Fatayer. The dolmas were also fun and convenient to eat. 10 in a box. Dolmas are marinated grape leaves stuffed with a seasoned rice and rolled into little cigars. Restaurant offers 2 juices made in house: 1. Freshly squeezed OJ that was bright orange in color 2. Fruit punch made with grape juice and black carrot juice Restaurant offers 3 kinds of baklava for dessert! 1. Walnut Baklava 2. Pistachio Baklava 3. Bird Nest Baklava (Arabic: Osh El Bulbul) At home, I enjoyed my Samoon with BABA GHANOUSH and hummus from Mediterranean Bakery. Baba Ghanoush seemed more special to me than the hummus. I did appreciate that the hummus came garnished with a few chickpeas. I also ordered a 1/2 pound of beef shawarma to go. It needed 20 minutes to finish grilling on the rotisserie, so I explored Alibaba International Foods market and the Kind Bean Cafe & Ethiopian Cuisine restaurant in the same plaza. Beef shawarma is marinated in a spiced paste. Lacking all the fresh vegetable toppings, I couldn't assemble as delectable a sandwich at home. If I can tear myself away from the chicken kabob sandwich (kabab, kebab, kebob), I'd be interested in trying the other meat sandwiches: beef kabob, chicken tikka, lamb tikka, chicken shawarma, and beef shawarma. I'd also try salads: Mediterranean Salad, Greek Salad, or Beyrotiya Salad (chickpeas, tomatoes, and cucumbers in olive oil, garlic, cumin, and lemon juice). I procrastinated too long writing this review, so my memory may be failing me. The co-owners of the restaurant are all from the Mediterranean area: Sudan, Lebanon, and Iraq, I believe. Thanks to Hameed for your kind hospitality and food preparation. I'll be back for the Samoon and sandwiches!

The delivery itself was great, but the food wasn't. The salad had cucumbers throughout, and since my body does not do well digesting cucumber, I couldn't eat it. We started with a nice bottle of Lebanese wine, and the a Mezza plate that included baba ghanouj, hummus, labneh and muhumarra. We also ordered some falafel for good measure.
