Had a craving for chicken/lamb over rice one night and found this spot via doordash! The food was made incredibly fast and we had it delivered still warm. Food was delicious! The sauce is just spicy enough without being overpowering. I'm a fan! read more

I found these guys on DoorDash and now I order them regularly. I get the lamb or mixed plate and chicken or lamb gyro. I ordered it with extra white sauce one time. However, it was just a little too much sauce so I won't be doing that again. Solid food that's fast and easy. You can't go wrong. read more

I have been waiting for a gyro and fries for the past hour, and the skinny dude that works in the front moves slower than an ant. We need to get someone excited to come to work and enjoy what they do. He doesn't seem very happy. I have asked several times about my order, and he keeps saying they're busy while they only have three charges. I just got my food, and it's super cold! Waste of money! read more

I initially tried this place in Vegas and loved it (I think it's a chain) once I learned we had one in sac I had try it out! So far I've tried the chicken platter , mixed platter and the chapli plate. Both platters we're good, they come with rice and a salad mix and topped with a white & red sauce (tzatziki & hot sauce , maybe?) the chapli (beef patty) not sure how to describe the taste of this one...my boyfriend said it taste like diet meat hahah whatever that means. I can't say I would order it again. Can't wait to try the other items on the menu. Stop by and give them a try! read more

Thanks to the wifey for finding this last minute dinner spot. After seeing it on the "hot & new" category, we drove over to give it a try. Ordering is super easy since they have a small, but straight forward menu. The closest thing to compare to is Halal Guys. While they aren't exactly the same, Halal Bros is still very tasty with delicious flavored meats and a tasty white sauce. I would highly recommend Halal Bros solely because it's good sized, tasty food for a decent price tag. read more

Halal Bros, is truly a solid 4 star rating! I had the opportunity to try the Chicken Platter, which was deeeeeelish! At an affordable price of $10.99 this platter includes a hefty amount of juicy-flavorful, tender pieces of chicken, on a bed of Basmati brown rice, paired with a shredded lettuce + cucumber salad, drenched with the perfect amount of Halal Bros signature, White Sauce! Food was delish though seemed skimpy on the meat compared to other spots. Salad dressing is really good and spicy. The plate had lots of rice, I couldn't finish it, but it was really good. Falafels are yum, but not enough sauce is given see pic. They charged me $.50 for gross fake sriracha sauce LOL. I regretted putting it on the food before tasting it. Eek. I wish I would have received another pita triangle - They only give one. The iceberg salad was okay a few pieces of rotten spinach made their way in there, but easy to pull out. The rest was fine. People outside were scary. I live in midtown where I see everything and it doesn't usually phase me, but this chick guarding the block freaked me out. Stopped in here randomly one day after meaning to try this place for a while. Simple restaurant with minimal seating, in booths. Probably better for take out. Got lamb plate and a gyro. Our kiddo gobbled up the lamb gyro and left nothing behind; he also appreciated they don't have onions in it. They cut the mean in cubes rather than shaving it. My husband enjoyed it that way. The rice had a funky flavor to it. Maybe not enough seasoning or maybe not washed. Wanted to try the chapli too, but that was another 15 minutes and we didn't have time to wait. Glad we gave this place a try, but it was just OK IMO. Then again, we were initially headed to Davis for Halal Guys and I had that on my mind when we found this place and decided to save a trip and try local. TLDR: BOMB food, GREAT service I used to go to halal food place very similar to this when I was in college, and it was literally one of my go to spots on campus. However I graduated and had not been back to that area in so long, I was so happy to find this halal bros location near my work! It tastes even better than the place I used to go to and MUCH bigger portion sizes! Not to mention, the staff is super nice and polite. Good atmosphere and good vibes. If I could give it negative stars I would. The staff is rude and the service is worse. They took forever to take our order when the girl behind the counter was just standing there with AirPods in. I asked a simple question about a menu item and the cooks made a rude comment, making fun of me, in front of me. They also missed an item in our order and the food is mediocre at best. I just had food from Halal Bros delivered and it was the best experience for my trastebuds! The flavors were so fresh and exotic the sauces unique and individual in flavor. May I suggest the combination plate, tender and very delicious marinated beef kabob and chicken kabobs over fluffy and delicious basmati rice, accompanied by a lettuce, cucumber& tomato salad with a spicy and very herbal dressing. I will be a regular & frequent customer of Halal Bros from tonight on. The menu is a smorgasbord of Middle Eastern favorites and others I intend to become very familiar with over time! I process the food orders for my company and Halal Bros is definitely a fan favorite! We have ordered from them multiple times (15 - 20 people worth) and have been happy every time! The last time we had ordered through GrubHub and for some reason weren't given the option for delivery at 11:30 AM. Luckily one of the owners of Halal Bros called us to offer delivery at no extra cost! They are so generous and really make sure to go above and beyond for their people. Highly recommend! read more

Located about a block from the freeway. My coworker and I wanted lunch. We took it to go. Ultra easy to find. Navigation from street to parking lot is a bit hectic. We walked in and greeted by an ultra simple electronic menu. After a few moments and the staff taking the orders in front of me I made my order. It looks like they prepare a few at a time to keep it all fresh. It took a little time for my order. My coworker and I ate at the car. Food was hot. I ordered the mixed plate which had rice, salad, chicken, lamb, falafel along with salad and white and red sauce (Sriracha). A nice kick of spice to food. A balance of white cream sauce on the salad. The cashier was terribly rude and could not manage to take an order correctly. When I was placing the order over the phone, I could literally hear her rolling her eyes. I repeated my order three times. When I arrived it was incorrect. Not surprised. She tried over charging me for what I didn't order and when I questioned it, she was super rude to the point it was laughable. The food is decent but sadly you've lost a customer due to employing an ignorant and rude cashier. Zero but Yelp is too kind and won't let us give zero. read more

I just door dashed an order from here, I ordered two lamb platters and a side order of pita, the meat and rice are so flavorful and delicious! The platter is filling but does not sit like a heavy meal and tastes so fresh. It's also a nice portion! I will definitely be adding this restaurant to list of favorites in the sacramento area. The only thing I do wish is that the sauce would've came on the side like I requested so the salad wouldn't be soggy in case I don't finish it all in the same day but with how good the food is that may not be an issue lol. Next time I will be going to order in person with the family because if it tastes this good by delivery it probably tastes even better ordering it there! read more

Halal Bros is a solid lunch option - good food, decent value. As others have pointed out, this is quite similar to Halal Guys and Halal Cart (SF). Although the food was good, I disagree with other reviewers and don't think it's as good as Halal Guys or Halal Cart. I had the lamb platter and everything tasted good - the meat is probably as good as the other guys - but the white sauce and in particular, the hot sauce, was super disappointing. The white sauce was thin and watery and the hot sauce was just Lee Kum Kee (off-brand) Sriracha. As a result, while the meat, rice, and salad were good on their own, the entire platter as a whole was inferior to the other places because of the sauces. read more

We met some friends from Petaluma for dinner. It was nice to have a table of four because it meant we go to try more! They were open to family style, so that worked out great. We started with a nice bottle of Lebanese wine, and the a Mezza plate that included baba ghanouj, hummus, labneh and muhumarra. We also ordered some falafel for good measure. Everything was super fresh tasting and delicious. The muhumara was probably the show stopper though - it was fantastic. For the second round, we ordered Nabulsi (salty cheese on flatbread), Kufta (amazing!), semac shawarma (seabass), maglouba (veggie rice) and the Sayadieh (salmon and seabass rice). Everything was delicious, super fresh, and tasty! We enjoyed every bite. We ended with baklawa o buza (baklava w/ ice cream) and Turkish coffee that was also excellent! Overall a fantastic meal! I'm so glad our friends were excited about - it was a great tour of their menu - and I'm already looking forward to when I can go back! I added some tobasco and pepper but I'm thinking I should've added salt too. Cool. I ate maybe half of half the burrito and a few bites of hash browns (that also had no flavor) and was ready to go. Less than 4 hrs later I had awful cramps and diarrhea. It's clear they don't take allergies seriously here. My bf ordered chicken fried steak and he said it was delicious tho. Me personally, I'm good on coming back. Food thrown out, they likely cook eggs in butter or mix egg beaters w milk.

Came here for these first time today 6/1/21 and I'll be back! Food was fire! Ordered the Kevin's chicken and steak w rice and salad. Bomb. Also orders a side of falafel, fries, and a chicken gyro. We destroyed all of it. My kids are finicky eaters But they ate it up! Food was fresh and just good flavor. Spent $28. Good to see new businesses in west sac. He then proceeded to state that I shouldn't be rude and instead of apologizing or offering to replace it or refund me, he said what do you want us to do about it? So of course after all this, I wanted a refund. Then he tried again to defend himself and say that my husband ate the same thing and didn't have a problem. But how do two separate foods (bought at two different times) mean that one cannot have a problem? Finally they claimed okay I'll give you a refund and when I asked if they were doing it as we speak or how I would have proof, they changed their answer and said I had to bring it back in and show them proof before they would give a refund. What if I left the area? Overall, I felt I was met with horrible customer service. And I can understand if a bug "accidentally" slips in to food during preparation, sometimes things happen. I can "forgive" that, but to be so unapologetic about it and even defensive and accuse me of being rude because I was upset after finding a bug or being hung up on was rude in itself.
