Got this food at the halal fusionz food truck @ Klyde Warren park. If you want some greasy, flavorful, juicy food with flavors you've maybe never had before, try this. I was super impressed and felt like I'd never had something quite like it. It was very greasy, so you definitely feel a little nasty after this, but to me it was so worth it. These two plates ran us 37.88$, which is maybe a little steep, but not too bad considering the sheer amount of meat that was placed in the quesadilla especially. read more

Ate at their food truck which was at Klyde Warren for the day. Amazing stuff!! I ordered the tacos and the birria quesadilla. It's a little expensive but the portions were huge so it felt reasonable. All the meat is super tender, they put plenty of cheese on the quesadilla, and then flavors are so unique and delicious! Was a little bit of a long wait but definitely worth it. Flavorful tacos and the Chipotle Kheema were divine, but they were tiny and overpriced. This restaurant has potential, but it was not worth $23 for four small tacos. The birria sauce was also skimpy. Also, picking up the order was a bit of a headache. I ordered online and got an email saying the order was ready, but there were no pick-up instructions. When I arrived, I wasted about 10 minutes trying to figure out how to get my food and had to alert them through the tablet, which was harder than it sounds. It's Keith Lee fault. This is really a hidden gem. If you want to branch out from you ordinary everyday food, this is the spot to try. The service is really slow. The food is very good in general- pretty fun. That is 4 stars They are pretty small portions for the price. My favorites were more the quesadillas. Three bc they're def working thru service levels. Stopped in due to the Keith Lee Effect while I was in town. 5 stars all the way. This is a takeout spot located in Taste of Towerwood. So there is not seating, but you can place your order for pick up and they also order delivery. With the recent attention try to be patient, I placed online, and went to pick up. There was a tablet saying to scan your order from your phone, but it did not work. People were also having issues with placing orders-this is set up by TOT for all of the restaurants. Finally I saw a doorbell and rang that and someone came to help. I ordered the Nihari Birria tacos. It came with a side of the sauce as well. The meat was delicious, and the sauce was not too spicy, but I didn't need a lot. I'm not a spice person and it was the right amount of kick! They also have quesadillas and bowls. read more

After seeing Keith Lee review this place I was super excited to try it. However, I think the fact that this place is a ghost kitchen and you can't eat the food fresh holds them back. We placed our order for pickup at 8pm and it was ready around 8:15. I will say the nihari beef was nice and soft and the chili chicken was packed with flavor. The keema quesadilla was good but I thought it was a bit oily. The birria tacos were definitely my favorite - the naan 'taco shell' was 10/10. For the platters. the meat to rice ratio was off, I think they definitely could've given more meat. Overall I think the fusion idea is cool and if you want something different then its a great option! read more

I went here for the first time, before Keith Lee's visit, and I am not impressed! I got Chipotle Kheema taco ($4.99+tax) and Paneer tikka masala chilli Elote ($3.99+tax). Both portions are really small for the price. Taco supposed to come with 3 sauces but mine only came with 2 and I was missing Tandoori Ranch sauce. Both were just okay and nothing special. Taco was in fact oily! This place is a ghost restaurant and inside a one story, office type, building. When you arrived at the place all it says outside is, "Taste of Towerwood." There is no restaurants' names outside or anything like that. I was almost going to drive off thinking I arrived at the wrong address until I decided to park and go inside. In addition, you don't have to order online. You can order onsite via kiosk in the lobby. In fact you will save "Online Service" and "Transaction" fees if you order onsite. Yes, there is no place to sit down and eat. Their website should update and clearly list about the address as well as that onsite ordering is available to avoid any customer's confusions. I tried them at their pop up at Scoop n Buns this past weekend. The tacos were great. I tried all three, but the prices as mentioned in many other reviews were high compared to the serving size. $14 for two street tacos. I considered visiting them in Farmers Branch but after reading the other reviews I think I'll pass. I ordered a pickup order from here during the week due to my roommates recommendation. She saw the buzz from the Keith Lee review. I placed my order online around 1pm for pickup at 5:15pm. This is a ghost kitchen so not dining there and outside on the building it will not say Halal Fusionz but instead read Taste of Towerwood and has all the 3rd party delivery apps symbols next to it like UberEATS and DoorDash etc. There were a few people in line and there are doorbells on the walls for the assorted different places there. I had never been here before so I just waited in line to talk to the guy at the desk. They were swamped and I don't think they were prepared for the influx of business. We ordered 7 different tacos, half were Nihari X Birria Tacos $5.99 each and the others were the Chipotle Kheema Tacos $4.99 each. We did a mix of spicy and mild, add cilantro and onions on some and plain for others, chose different sauces like the Tandoori Ranch Sauce and the Cucumber Cool Down Sauce. I had to wait until 5:40pm for my order to be ready which is not bad at all. I heard some people who were there waiting saying they had been waiting for 3 hours as they did not place an order until there. I would definitely recommend ordering ahead of time. When he called me up to get my order I looked in the bag and counted 7 aluminum foil wrapped tacos and saw only 3 sauce containers. I asked the guy about more sauces and he said that the sauce is in the tacos and loaded up so I left. I put a note to label the tacos as they were all different and they did this on 3 of the 7 but I could not discern their markings. Only 1 taco did not have onions and cilantro on it when there should have only been 2 that did have them. The spice level was the same on all 4 tacos I had so not sure if they were mild or spicy. None of the tacos had sauce inside them except one which had salsa verde in it and none of them were definitely not loaded. We ate these as soon as I got home which was maybe 6 mins car ride and they needed to be warmed up as they were cold. The meat in the Kheema taco was flavorful but the Birria tacos were pretty burnt on the outside so it had a bad charred taste. So overall this was not a good experience but I do understand that they probably were not prepared for it. My issue was with the accuracy of my order and being told inaccurate info to my face. I would give it a month or 2 to see if they can get their stuff together before going back to try it again. read more

The food did not look like anything they advertised the taco was smaller than sliced bread and there was very little meat. We saw videos of how the food is suppose to be and it was nothing like it actually looked in videos or pictures. Would not go back to this place nor would I recommend it to people. This is a masterpiece, no doubt that I would try again and worth every dollar spent. The flavor is just immaculate, I am at a lost for words after eating such a life changing taco. In terms of food, it was very good. However we ordered our food at 5:45 and didn't get it until around 10:45. Some people's food was cold when they got it and the people working the desk had no organization (but were still VERY nice). I do have grace for them because I don't think they were ready for the Keith Lee effect and the booming business that came with his review. The workers were clearly overwhelmed and had not dealt with this before so for the food to still have been good actually says a lot. The first thing they need to do is relocate and the second thing they need to do is hire more help (and give all the workers raises). I'd say give this company about a month or two to adjust and then I'd definitely go back because the food alone was certainly worth a second trip. read more

Overall 6/10 I was given a 15-25 min wait time yet my food took almost 2 hours to be given to me. If only the wait was worth it. I wouldn't have stayed at the establishment if I had know that 1. It would have taken that long and 2. The quality of food was such. Would I return? Probably not. Shouldn't have to do so much to produce a flavorful taco Chipotle Kheema Taco 8/10: Best part of my meal. Has the consistency of ground beef if you are particulate to texture. Flavorful but tasted even better with a mix of the Tandoori ranch + Mint Verde sauces. Although it was the highest rating food for me, it still wasn't anything to write home about. Paneer Tikka Masala Elote 3/10: Lacked flavor and seasoning. Barely any salt. Rice 4/10: Seasoned rice... nothing much too it yet still a more enjoyable experience than the Elote Mango Mojito Mocktail 1/10: Literally Water with a splash of flavored mango juice. I get my confirmation text and it says 1 hour 15 minutes. We finally get the 4 tacos after 2 hours. You ring a doorbell because no one is at the counter. It is not worth the wait. Portion size is tiny. They wrap foil around the chili sauce container which could spill. Don't waste your time! You'll be disappointed and hangry. read more

I drove all the way to this restaurant because of Keith Lee's review. They did not live up to the hype. AT ALL. Really disappointed. Small food portions. There was absolutely No flavor.
