Rishi took our phone call and ensured that we had a table waiting for our group of three when we arrived. It took around 15 to 20 minutes to get the appetizer. The staff was apologetic however little curious, considering the fact that the restaurant was not that busy. For an appetizer, we ordered the roasted cauliflower and the flaming Saganaki. Both of which were delicious. Then followed that with a Mediterranean salad (not realizing that our entrees came with salads, lol). And for our entrees: Mediterranean Moussaka, chicken kabob for the kiddo and the 24 hour braised lamb shank for me. Dessert was the Kunafa- a new flavor explosion like I had never experienced before. Now, the food was tasty, very tasty. However in speaking to Stan, the owner, they pride themselves on Himalayan hospitality. And while I've never been to the Himalayan mountains, nor Nepal, I now have this uncanny desire to visit that region if the service is even a fraction of what I have received tonight! From wonderful suggestions, to a small scoop of ice cream for my son, and several flavors that we were able to just sample and try based on his pure excitement about sharing the flavors. This review is for takeout only. My wife and I ordered takeout recently. She was craving some Mediterranean food and this looked great on the menu. She ordered the beef Shwarma and I opted for the vegetarian Moussaka. They promptly called us telling that they were out of beef, only had chicken and lamb. Not a big deal. Ordered the chicken and both were $18 so I guess it was an even trade. What came was something that looked more like a burrito. I've never seen a bread like that served for a shwarma. Also, it did not come with a side. Fries were and extra $3. My wife did not like it. My vegetarian Moussaka looked great. It came with a side. $24. It was just meh. The potatoes used in the base were under cooked and hard. On top of that were some summer squash slices, also undercooked and still had the raw crunch to them. I couldn't really taste any eggplant. I thought that was the main ingredient for this dish traditionally. Instead of meat they used some farro or something. I just flatly did not like it. I would really think again before ordering this place. After tax and tip it was over $60 for two meals we didn't like and mostly didn't eat. Never again read more

He went above and beyond to give us a great experience in his restaurant made some recommendations that were outstanding from the lamb shack to the grill shrimp to the Brussel sprouts and the amazing cauliflower. We eat a lot of Turkish and Greek food, and this falls below almost everywhere else we've been, though it's not awful. The service was odd. The waitress was nice but often seemed confused, brought us the wrong drinks (she owned the mistake and didn't charge us), and struggled to understand our very simple questions (such as, what are the best items here?). For an appetizer we have a 3 tray of different hummus and some drinks. I am an old fashion connoisseur and let me tell you this was one of the best old fashions I have ever had. It was made extremely well, great flavor not underwhelming or overpowering. For dinner I chose the braised lamb shoulder and roasted veggies. The portion of pita bread was generous. She liked it a lot. The wife and I split a starter of falafels (3 to an order). It came with a smattering of hummus and harissa sauce, plus a small salad. I would have preferred more hummus and hold the salad. For entrees, the wife had the lamb kabob and she loved it. The meat was very tender and flavorful. She was very satisfied with her choice. It comes with rice and a side salad. I had the chicken kabob and really liked it. The chicken is white meat and it was extremely well seasoned and tender. It also came with rice and salad. The one thing missing was a wedge of lemon to add a bit acidity. The service was friendly and efficient. This place could be our new go-to for Mediterranean food. We liked everything about it.
