This review is for takeout only. My wife and I ordered takeout recently. She was craving some Mediterranean food and this looked great on the menu. She ordered the beef Shwarma and I opted for the vegetarian Moussaka. They promptly called us telling that they were out of beef, only had chicken and lamb. Not a big deal. Ordered the chicken and both were $18 so I guess it was an even trade. What came was something that looked more like a burrito. I've never seen a bread like that served for a shwarma. Also, it did not come with a side. Fries were and extra $3. My wife did not like it. My vegetarian Moussaka looked great. It came with a side. $24. It was just meh. The potatoes used in the base were under cooked and hard. On top of that were some summer squash slices, also undercooked and still had the raw crunch to them. I couldn't really taste any eggplant. I thought that was the main ingredient for this dish traditionally. Instead of meat they used some farro or something. I just flatly did not like it. I would have preferred more hummus and hold the salad. For entrees, the wife had the lamb kabob and she loved it. The meat was very tender and flavorful. She was very satisfied with her choice. It comes with rice and a side salad. I had the chicken kabob and really liked it. The chicken is white meat and it was extremely well seasoned and tender. It also came with rice and salad. The one thing missing was a wedge of lemon to add a bit acidity. The service was friendly and efficient. This place could be our new go-to for Mediterranean food. We liked everything about it. I made a 7:00 PM reservation and was really disappointed with the experience. We weren't properly seated and didn't receive our food until 7:50 PM -- almost an hour after our reservation time. During that wait, my chai tea was completely forgotten. The food itself came out, we finished within a few minutes, and then we had to wait again just to get the bill. The service felt very disorganized and inattentive the entire night. We didn't leave until 8:39 PM, which is frustrating considering how quickly we actually ate. A reservation should mean your table and service are prepared -- unfortunately, that wasn't the case here.
