They have all the *fresh* produce needed to make your homemade tinola, arroz caldo, singigang, adobo-they got it all. They tend to regularly have stuff I can't find at even Seafood city such as green baby mangoes, malunggay (moringa in English), and calamansi! I usually call ahead to confirm before I make the drive out. It's also a very well maintained/ clean store. They have their snacks, random filipino knick knacks (barrel man, mini parol, etc.). Leading up to the holidays, they will have those gigantic stars to celebrate Christmas in Filipino style. Many of these small stores are hard to come by these days as many are closing up shop so please visit this place for your Pinoy needs.

But, I really miss those old mom/pop grocery stores there was such warmth and heart in those places. Wooltari, though a smaller grocery store, is on a different level. They carry high quality food, most of which comes directly from S.Korea either frozen or dried to preserve its freshness. Seafood, variety of rice cakes, ready to eat meals, excellent sesame oil, handmade dumplings, seasoning marinades, crab, and many organic items. I tried their frozen persimmon shake a bit pricey, but I loved it. I think the guy working there is the owner, and he's incredibly pleasant. This store is located in Milpitas. the same mall with a Ranch 99 . It is east to find parking on a Monday to Friday. But it is almost impossible to find a spot to park on the weekend afternoon . They had the usual array of nonstick pots, which don't work very well for me. They had a small but useful section for clay pots. I thought Amazon and AliExpress had overpriced clay pots, but I was wrong. These prices were significantly higher. I can only hope these are the best of the best. Checking up on 99 Ranch, I couldn't even find clay pots in there more limited kitchen utensil section. I ran across one item where knockoffs are ubiquitous. They've completely flooded AliExpress and you have to watch it with Amazon. Hankook had the authentic item and at significantly lower price than both Amazon and Aldi express. I found a tea section to be well stocked. I also recognize some of the tea brands. 99 Ranch has gone with lower cost options, but if you buy 6 ounces of tea, are you gonna be stuck with an enormous supply. Better to go with reliable brands that I have enjoyed in the past. I loved the produce section. It was nice and fresh. It also had wider selection of produce than other supermarkets. The store itself is stunning. The the aisles are spacious. The store is meticulously clean. The shelves are fully stocked. There were only about two items which were shopped out. The snack area and the frozen foods were even more interesting. It's obvious in those two sections that there were many more Korean brands. I should've tried some, but it's hard for me to resist snacks and there was a good chance that would finish the entire bag in one go. Better to skip it entirely. The parking lot for the supermarket is spacious. I had no trouble finding a spot even though I arrived in the late afternoon when everybody has gotten off work. I live about two hours away. And I am very jealous because there is no Hankook near me.
