Their Boba has gotten incredibly expensive and the taste is mediocre. I am really disappointed in their bathroom key policy. Their bathroom is for customers only which I completely understand. In order to get the key for the restroom they make you give them one of your personal belongings. The only item was my personal cell phone, which I did not want to give them. The cashier informed me that she would only give me the key if I gave her my phone or another personal item. I had just paid for my drinks, $25 for three drinks, so I was definitely not going to leave and steal the key without my drinks. I've come here sometimes after getting ramen next door. It's just your average boba tea shop, nothing special about it other than the giant cup that you get. I've ordered the peach black tea and the almond milk tea with honey boba. They have a decent selection for people who are lactose intolerant, which is great for people like me. It took our drinks maybe 2 minutes to be ready, so service was pretty quick. They use flavored syrup as the sweetener so it's just like your average convenient boba shop. The boba was still warm when we got our cups and they were nice and chewy, and you can definitely taste the honey in it. This location is pretty consistent with the way they make their tea and boba. My favorites are their Thai Tea and Oolong Milk Tea. Customers may adjust ice, sugar, and milk levels. During COVID, it is faster to phone in your order and pay when you arrive. Staff is quick and friendly. I noticed that she was also extremely rude to not just me but also other customers and her COWORKERS which I find very uncomfortable because how can she becomes a manager if she acts like that to customers and employees. The boba here is my standard for chewy boba and is on the far end of the chewy spectrum. My husband loves this place and likes to get the Hokkaido Milk Tea which is a caramel flavored milk tea that's not too sweet. My classic favorite is the Iced Milk Drink with caramel, boba, and pudding. During the winter, it's also a fantastic drink hot! Definitely would recommend this place but keep in mind this recommendation doesn't have any seating so it's more of a grab and go kinda place. read more

My go-to place for boba tea. I have tried many places here in LA for boba milk teas, but none of the them can beat Half and Half's boba milk teas in terms of flavor and taste. Half and Half has the right combination of the right amount of teas, milk and a lot of tender bobas. The bobas are cooked to the right tenderness and the right sweetness so they wouldn't over powered the tea flavor. To top that off, they have many varieties of tasty toppings. My favorite topping is definitely the grass jelly. During Covid-19, there's always a long line outside of the store. I ordered two rose milk teas with boba over the phone since there are no minimum for phone orders. I called them prior leaving my house and my drinks were ready by the time I got there.
