So when I am ever in the San Gabriel area I do stop by here to get a quick drink for my drive. A review that is long overdue, one of the many Sunright spots I've been to, this one is definitely the smallest one of all. Parking here is pretty compact, small lot at the back but most times I've visited, I always parked on the street, since it's close by. This time around, my partner and I visited for check out a HI3 collaboration. Sunright does collaborations pretty often in a years frame, and each collab always comes with some freebies, usually coasters and/or stickers, etc. We purchased two drinks which comes with stickers, coasters, and a polaroid of one of the characters but unfortunately, they were all out of the polaroid. Regardless, a great collaboration with a popular game, coasters are better quality than the more generic plastic/paper ones from before so that's a plus. We ordered the Strawberry Honey Boba Milk Tea & Lemon Yakult w/ Jasmine Tea Jelly. Both drinks took a bit to come out which is understandable due to a new drink to make. Cups are always a standout point with Sunright and this collaboration didn't disappoint. Very cute design and very sturdy. As for the drink itself, pretty decent, strawberry honey drink is sweet despite sugar adjustment, although very refreshing. The Lemon Yakult is good but nothing over the top, tasted like a Yakult (obviously) with a hint of lemon. Perfect adjustment of 50% sugar. You can always count on Sunright for decent quality boba, and this spot is no different. If you have the choice, definitely check this spot out, can't go wrong with Sunright. read more

The location is convenient to go in and pick up. Service is always quick and the staff is always kind. I was hesitant to try my sisters white peach oolong but was pleasantly surprised by the taste. Came here (as well as 3-4 other locations) for the Love & Deepspace collab for my partner. Seems like it's really hit or miss in terms of how many giveaway items each store might have. At the Little Tokyo location, on day 2 of the giveaway, they notified me that they had run out of all the giveaway items for the whole run (which was supposed to last 1.5 to 2 weeks I believe). That was strange because the San Gabriel, Arcadia, and Alhambra locations all had a least a few left between late afternoon and evening. I wasn't sure if there was a problem with the website on my end, so to be sure, I called Sunright for assistance. A young gentlemen picked up the phone and I asked why the bulk orders aren't available online and if there was something wrong with the website. He rudely told me he's receiving orders on his end just fine and the problem was on my end. I responded to his comment by saying I've tried a few times, even waiting a few minutes after the store has opened, to make sure the website was fully up and running. He then rudely said, "well it's not available!" and immediately hung up the phone. I called back asking why he hung up on me and that I wasn't finished speaking to him. He said he already told me the half gallons aren't available and had nothing else to say. Since I did not get a clear answer or an explanation why it wasn't available, I asked to speak to a supervisor/manager, which then he replied with, "You're speaking to him." I proceeded to ask for his name, but he stayed silent. I kept repeating hello, hello a couple times but there was no answer and then he hung up on me again. I went back to the website and I was finally able to place the bulk order for pick up even after he said it was unavailable. I went to pick up the order and spoke to another employee, who was there working with him, and explained to her the situation (I did not ask for her name). While talking to her, I noticed he did not acknowledge me or speak up on his rude behaviors. I've been to this location multiple times ordering 3-4 drinks at a time and even ordered bulk for an event of 100+ guests this past November. Since I had a wonderful experience in the past, I've raved about their services to my family, friends, and coworkers and encourage them to order here for special events/parties. It tasted great, but I'll probably get it a bit sweeter and with more ice next time. It seems their way of making it less sweet is by adding less Oreo. I liked it at this sweetness and thought it was good. This drink was quite refreshing. Grapefruit Jasmin Tea, $4.95- My husband opted to have this drink be made with no ice but at the normal amount of sweetener. He thought it was still a bit too sweet. I placed my order and was alerted via text message my drink order would be ready 30 minutes later. Even after arriving at my expected pick up time, I still had to wait an additional 10 minutes. There isn't much room inside the establishment either. The employees are working elbow to elbow in a cramped space behind the counter. A slight turn off was seeing boxes of their supplies taking over the main/front area. I get it. The place is small and there's no storage space. But, I think it should be a little more organized in that sense. Orders and payment are only done electronically. You can only order thru the self order kiosk inside or online. The drinks are excellent! All drinks are made to order which is why you should pack your patience. I enjoyed their taro boba milk. It's real taro that's puréed; not that artificial powered stuff. And, the boba is mildly sweet and chewy. I also liked that they offered non-dairy options such as oat milk and almond milk.
