We used to really trust these guys, but no more. After using them to renovate many of our rentals, when we turned to them to replace the flooring in our own home, they sold us cheap and worthless products. They said it was discontinued, but they never told us that they had delaminating issues. We spoke to folks who used to work there and they said that ownership now buys cheaper flooring and many customers have had the same issues as us. We trusted them, but never again. Now after 2 years, we have to redo our entire house AGAIN. We have to pay for more flooring and more labor because this shop decided to buy the cheapest quality floors to make a buck. So disappointed and we now use a different dealer for all of our rentals and renovations. We sent so many customers to these guys, but no more. Overall I had a great experience with Half Price Wholesale Flooring to replace flooring throughout my mom's house. Note, you'll need to be prepared to do a little legwork to either install yourself or arrange for install with an outside company - but they have some recommended installers. (We actually used one of them, our contact was Shawn, and he was absolutely amazing and made the whole thing easy for us.) The end result was great flooring at a great price. If I could give 0 stars, I would. I've been giving this company business and referrals for years, but my recent experience with Half Priced Wholesale Flooring (Las Vegas - W Charleston Blvd) was a complete nightmare from start to finish. I bought 3,000 sq. ft. of "top-grade" LVP flooring for my home -- over $5,000. When I picked it up, every box was crushed on the corners. I was told "just use those ends for cuts," which is outrageous considering the price. I was on a tight timeline (living in a house with no floors for 2 weeks), so I had no choice but to take it. Turns out, half the flooring was unusable due to damage. I had to pay my installers more to work around it. Then, just 2 months later, the floors started changing color in certain areas, and 70% were scratched, even though we don't wear shoes or have pets. Even my $700 vacuum with felt padding scratched the Floor. This product is NOT durable. After multiple ignored calls, I finally pushed to have someone inspect the damage. The first appointment was a no-show. The second time, they sent reps who didn't speak English, so I couldn't explain anything. He Even translated through one of the the guys who spoke english that " this is a floor it's going to get damage" Eventually, they offered me store credit or an exchange, which I declined -- I had zero confidence in the product anymore. I also then had to pay out of my pocket again for someone to remove and install the floors so it didn't make sense. I wanted a different brand that I could trust , as we didnt want to tear up our home again and have the same issues. The manager, Russ, promised to order planks the distributor was crediting me and he would sell them in the showroom to someone, and refund me that way. (Not sure how Appropriate that is.) It's now been 5 months. I gave him six referrals to help make it happen. Still no refund. Just endless excuses -- including "the store caught fire." Seriously. To make matters worse, they used their contractors to remodel a referrals kitchen and floor-- and that was another disaster. They: Left off all the hardware Nailed the cabinet faces Used drywall screws to hold cabinets together Had to reinstall the cabinets twice because they installed them wrong. Replaced cabinet doors after because they scratched and dented each one. Bottom line: This company does not care about quality, accountability, or customer service. If you value your time, money, or sanity -- stay far away from Half Priced Wholesale Flooring. read more

I would like to give an update to my negative review, unfortunately I suffered a rare disease, which has rendered myself permanently disabled, I'm from out of state, unfortunately small claims court is not an option for me. A reminder of what 1/2 price flooring did, I hired workers to install flooring, when my workers got back to my condo they were renovating, they opened the box, it was nothing but lose ends, & garbage, the flooring didn't connect. 1/2 price flooring said "bring it back, & I was told I would get a store credit." I have all their texts. My workers brought the flooring back, & got a confirmation from the lady who handles the returns at 1/2 flooring. When my brother showed up to purchase additional flooring, & to use the credit they told my brother to beat it, & myself over the phone. I been thinking about changing my floor for my house. The more different company's Yelp diligent the more gets confusing best option. Coworker recently change his house from carpet to laminate. He was overall happy with his experiences. He felt the prices were fair. I decided to go checkout Half Price Flooring. It been while since last changed my flooring. So it definitely could be overwhelming at first and once started talking salesperson even more. The different products they carry in store and options crazy. They have the entire floor store covered with samples. Also some on the walls, also on walls show carpet selection, and tile section in the store. Selection Half Price Flooring is awesome. Customer service was awesome. After walked around checking out lot of different colors and designs. Sale person came up talking about new experience for me. I had budget in mind. I knew amount needed had installer set did measurements. Gentlemen awesome talked about colors, thickness, and 101 laminate class. Whole time felt comfortable because it big expensive. I found something liked had in stock. So got it. I never felt pressure of up sell to buy most expensive product. Happy with the laminate got!! Wow, great , great great !!!! I am so impressed with this store and the manager Tom. I walked in and looked around and a sales lady Joanna came over to me and I showed her a sample that I was trying to match for flooring, so she showed many different options and then there it was. The perfect match to what I trying to find. Then she showed Tom what I had picked and he gave us a great price out the door. They have many options of flooring and they have plenty to look at . BEWARE! I went in at 6pm on 8/22/2022 to look at flooring options for condo. The 99 cent stuff is glue down, so I bought 576 sq.ft. of Stratosphere flooring at $1.99. But even though they advertise that the product is in the warehouse on site, the warehouse CLOSES at 5pm, so I had to come back the next day. Next morning, I got a text that my flooring is READY FOR PICKUP. I returned at 4:45pm and the product was NOT ready for pickup. It takes the warehouse guys 20 minutes to load up a pallet and bring it out to my car. I get it home, drag it to an upstairs condo, and THEY GAVE ME THE WRONG PRODUCT. So I texted AND called, and the company would not exchange it ("We don't deliver"), and I'm over a barrel, so I agreed to keep it and they agreed to give me a $100 refund (on a $1200+ purchase). They never gave me a penny back, and I was stuck with the wrong flooring. The salesman blamed it on the warehouse staff, but I think that was bull. I think they deliberately loaded my car with an inferior product, because the vinyl planking they gave me had all sorts of chips and broken ends. My handyman had to throw out quite a few pieces, and he cleverly used the broken pieces at the end of a row. IF you use this company, watch them like a hawk. read more

STAY AWAY!!! The ABSOLUTE worst customer service in the business. Russ the owner is childish and lacks the most basic of people skills. It's no wonder he stays in the warehouse and he under pays people to represent his company because he lacks the skills to deal with people. We bought flooring from this place and regret even walking through their doors. My family has referred him tons of business over the years and we will never send anyone his way due to his lack of business savvy and customer service. After purchasing flooring from this place that was on special order, we realized after receiving the product that it wasn't to our liking. They did not have a sample that was indicative of the product we bought So we couldn't really make an educated decision based off of anything except color. There was no mention of a 40% restock charge during this transaction whatsoever. Granted it was on our receipt and shame on me for not seeing that but with the stresses of buying a new home and all that comes with it, I over looked it. Once I was actually able to touch the product I realized that it was no where near what I expected. I called to return the flooring and to my surprise we got smacked with the 40% return fee. This was the first time I heard those words so it took me back. They were so persistent that the flooring I bought was the best they had to offer, even though me, as the consumer did not like the product. Without seeing a proper sample I could not make an educated decision. Had I known upfront that there was that restock fee, I would have never purchased 3000 sq ft of the material. I would have bought a box or sample first. Again shame on me for not doing that to begin with but shame on them for never verbalizing it, shame on them for not having proper floor samples, and shame on the owner for being such a jerk about it And not trying to find a solution He first said it was some of the best flooring they had, then he said he would have to pay to reship it back to the manufacturer, then he complained that he would have to sit on it for two years and he wasn't going to do that. So which is it? Send it back to the manufacturer or having to sit on it for two years. If the flooring was so special, he should have no issues reselling it. His condescending attitude and lack of people skills began to piss me off. He was double talking and I truly believe he wanted to charge us the 40% , keep it in his warehouse and then resell it again. His attitude and poor decision making cost him and his poorly ram business future referrels from not only me but all of my family, who have been in real estate in this valley for over 40 years. After a back and forth with this guy , like a child, he hung up on me after I called him a terrible business man. I suppose I struck a nerve. He then proceeded to take it out on my installer, who had nothing to do with the situation and told the installer that he would not be referring him any more business because of his assumptions that the installer told me the product was bad. A blind man could have picked the product up with his hands a felt how bad it is. There aren't enough adjectives to describe how bad this Russ clown is. I'm flabbergasted at how this man stays in business. He is full of assumptions as well. After showing him a picture of the much better quality flooring we were thinking of getting at Floor & Decor he assumed we found the flooring AFTER we went to him and saw it was cheaper for a better product and we were trying to get out of the purchase. When in fact the opposite was true. We went to Floor & Decor first and was referred to him by my father. We decided to go to a local Business and spend more Due to the referral and to keep the money local instead of a big corporation. Don't make the same mistake I did. Go to Floor & Decor where they have a much better selection of WAY better flooring and MUCH better customer service. Even if you end up paying more it is well worth it. You won't have to deal with any shady owners who have terrible customer service. This man cost himself tons of future business instead of at the very least trying to find a solution to make the customer happy. The customer isn't always right but they are never wrong. This Russ guy has no idea about that ideology. i will be telling every soul I know to stay as far away from this company as possible. One angry customer turns into 100 angry customers real fast. Its good thing he stays in the warehouse because he would have gone out of business long ago if he had to deal with any people. It's no wonder he hides himself in the warehouse where he only has to deal with subpar, quality flooring. At least the flooring doesnt speak back. I've bought here three times, I install flooring I've never had a problem with any employees there during pick ups. I just had an issue with some guy at the wearhouse, apparently he's new there. He's got a really bad attitude. I went to pick up flooring he brought out the pallet with a bad attitude started to put the boxes in my truck, they have a big sign that says we will load you up, he looked at me and said are you gonna help. So i jumped in and helped. The guy did not count right and I was short one box when I went back he go aggressive and called me a liar. That's when a Hispanic guy with a hat stepped in and fixed the problem. I will not be shopping there ever again. I asked the Hispanic guy for that guys name name is Christian good luck dealing with that guy. read more

We couldn't find an exact match because the tile I needed was an older style, but Tommy and his team found an awesome alternative! The pricing could not be beat!
