Today the stars aligned and we stopped for lunch. Quaint, homey, and user friendly, we immediately got a warm and fuzzy feeling. Meg had a hamburger, I had a cheeseburger. My burger was delicious. The fresh bun came apart and I had to use a knife and fork. Our fries were perfect for us. Golden on the outside, soft inside. The owner/server was friendly and efficient. Not a glitch, and all together we had a great lunch experience. We recommend you try it out when passing Whitney Point on I-81 or US-79.

The emphasis was clearly on quantity over quality. Her chicken sandwich wasn't any better -- bland, unseasoned, and somehow still had the pattern from the frozen packaging imprinted on the bottom. That's not a great sign. Bottom line: nice place to grab a drink. But unless you're already inebriated and not paying attention, I'd skip the food.

What I got was well done- and dry as the desert. I had to drink a lot of water to wash it down. Normally-if this was a steak, I'd send it back. The two large chicken cutlets with the soft cheese on top really made up for that though!
