I was genuinely disappointed to see so many negative reviews for this amazing collectible shop…read morebecause my experience has been the complete opposite. I've sold several Pokémon cards and other collectibles here, and I felt I was compensated fairly every time. Many of the negative reviews seem to come from personal collectors who naturally place a higher emotional value on their collections. The reality is that collectibles are a market like any other--their value fluctuates based on supply, demand, and current trends. Just because someone paid retail or above retail doesn't mean the market will always support that price. The owner, AJ, is knowledgeable, honest, and transparent about how he evaluates collections. If you're willing to ask questions instead of assuming you're being lowballed, he'll gladly explain the process and how he arrives at his offers. I also took the time to compare buyback offers from other collectible shops, and most either offer significantly lower percentages or aren't interested in purchasing certain items at all. If I had to make a comparison, I'd say many other shops operate like a used car lot, while Collectible N Stuff feels more like CarMax--straightforward, professional, and transparent. AJ is a genuinely friendly, down-to-earth person who clearly knows the hobby and the business. Based on my personal experience, I highly recommend this shop. Five stars!

I've visited this business a couple times. Limited slab selection though they have several binders…read moreworth of vintage to modern and even Japanese singles. They have a few sealed English and Japanese product from Evolving Skies/OF ETBs to the Chinese Gengar 151 boxes. They also have Magic and sports cards. They have a WILD selection of Pop figures too. In terms of selling, I was told they don't buy Pokemon common or uncommon bulk but they might for V's or better. I did see them buy like 2 bigger than flat rate boxes worth of Sports cards. I was told depending on the item, they can buy 70% cash or 80% trade. In terms of buying, they say they price cards based on how much they also got them for so I've seen 10% below to 20% above TCGPlayer market price. Just like all your purchases, do your due diligence and see if you agree with their comps or if you are willing to buy at a slight premium for the convenience of being able to check out the card and not needing to wait for pay for shipping. AJ was great helping me out. Very personable. No issues getting prices when some cards were unmarked. I also sold some slabs to him, a lot I couldnt give a flying fc while some I know had value but I just didnt have the time to sell. I had to comp the valuable ones in person but he gave me all the time I needed, never rushed me or sounded annoyed and the rest I essentially just used to help me get a better percent on what I valued. Note that the highest valued slab was ~$150-$200 depending on how you comp. We ended up with a 60 or 65% coin flip probably less with the random slabs I added on.. Never did I think I'd coin flip in a shop. I did win, but did I really? Haha. I did get cash which I wanted cause I'll be going on a couple trips but overall still a positive experience for both visits in the shop.

This shop in the very nice shopping center of Del Monte has a ton of product, but like most comic…read morebook stores, the business is moving away from that business and focusing more on collectible toys. It's a shame because there are so few good stores in this area. I went to all of them today and didn't find one that was a strong comic book store. If you like certain collectibles, you'll find a lot here, but if you're looking for comic books (which this store is listed) then you might be disappointed. SELECTION: Definitely packed full of product but I find that these types of stores in the end don't do well because product that doesn't sell sits on the shelves so long they gather dust. Not focused enough. And the comic wall isn't well stocked. SERVICE: Helpful in explaining why there isn't a lot in stock but too bad because this place has lots of potential. In a waning market this is the most well positioned store to do well. If they only did an ordering service, it would likely solve some of their problems. COST: Reasonable but not exceptional. Instead of going the collectibles route (I would definitely have collectibles but not the fad kind), I would go the comic book / gaming / sports card route. Card collectibles are of high value and take up so very little space. Funkos are great, but to give them shelf space they aren't worth it.

I came in to look for some Poison Ivy comics...and left with a horrible headache and feeling sick…read more The reason being the OVERPOWERING SMELL of mold or mildew that was in the store. Owner definitely has an issue that needs to be resolved immediately. As for the contents of the store, it sadly left a lot to be desired. Comics were not sorted alphabetically on the shelves, older guy sitting behind the counter made it clear he did not want to be bothered, and some of the merchandise was WAY TOO expensive. I understand he has a shop in the Del Monte Shopping Center so renting the space can be pricey, but $30 for a "normal" Funko Pop that isn't a Chase, or special edition, is just plain ridiculous. Hot Topic on the other side of the shopping center had the exact same Funko Pop for $11.90 My partner found a cool Batman graphic novel, but by that point I felt like I was gonna be sick due to the mold smell, so I had to leave. I hope the owner can get their priorities straight, and take care of the store before someone does get sick.

I can't say much for TCGs, but every time I'm in the shop, there is always some activity with trading/selling or games being played on the handful of tables set up in the shop. My son and I have been RC customers here for nearly a year and the owner (Michael) and crew are friendly and willing. There is a good selection of popular ARRMA, Losi, Axial and Traxxas vehicles and just about every single new release is in the shop within a few days. There is a curated collection of popular race vehicles behind the counter as well as Kyosho Mini-Z and handful of more specialized brands that only enthusiast hobbyist would even know about like Xpress, MST, and Corally to name a few. There is a small selection of planes and helicopters, and I've been able to have the shop order kits that are more obscure and have it be available within a week or so. I've found the prices to be the same as what is advertised on larger online retailers like Horizon Hobby, A-Main, or Tower Hobbies; Hobby Addicts does have a loyalty program, so I do appreciate that the business understands your patronage is important to them. More importantly, every dollar spent at a local business ends up within the community, so come on out and support your local hobby shop!

Yes, I'd change that part so it's clear they did have Monster Jam RC trucks, just not Sparkle Smash…read morespecifically: This was my first time coming here, but my husband has been here before. He wanted to stop by to check out the RC cars and boats, and even he was surprised by how much the store had changed since the last time he visited! There was honestly so much to look at. They have a HUGE variety of RC stuff--cars, trucks, boats, planes, parts, accessories, different bodies, and so much more. They even work on and repair RC cars there, which is really convenient. For me, the coolest part was the indoor RC track! Since this was my first time here, I was honestly amazed watching everyone race their little RC cars around the track . I didn't realize how big of a hobby this was, so it was actually really fun to watch. They also have an entire rock-crawling room with rocks, bridges, ramps, and different obstacles for the RC trucks, which was really cool to see. The guy working there was also really nice. He greeted us when we came in and answered all of my husband's questions. He was friendly and took the time to talk to us without making us feel rushed. They also had several Monster Jam RC trucks, which immediately caught my attention . I specifically asked about the Sparkle Smash truck. They didn't have that particular one, but he said they might get it later on. He also told us to come back because they're having a Monster Jam event soon, and now I'm actually interested in coming back for it! My husband already knew about this place, but as a first-time visitor, I was really impressed. Even though RC cars aren't really my hobby, I still had a good time looking around and watching everyone race. Between the huge selection, indoor track, rock-crawling area, repair services, and friendly customer service, we'll definitely be back!
