This used to be my go to ice cream spot since about 20 years ago. However, it hasn't been lately. Not only has the ice cream price skyrocketed, but it's just not as good. My chocolate chip cookie dough had nearly no chocolate chips and barely much cookie dough. This happened on more than one occasion this year. I now look elsewhere for ice cream in the area and it's such a shame.

Two scoop sugar cone with chocolate butter pecan and black cherry. Yummm!!!

Two scoops of delicious flavored icecream on a sugar cone is what I ordered. It was delicious. I order the chocolate butter pecan (yes you heard that right), also the black cherry icecream. The scoops were humongous. I enjoyed every minute of it. It was a long line upon entering. We waited anyway. They moved pretty quickly. It was appreciated. The service was very nice. The outside looked nice, but didn't look spectacular. I could have overlooked it and passed it by if I wasn't paying attention. The sign for the name of the establishment wasn't big and it was dark. The inside looked dark as well. Like I mentioned, it was packed in there. Wanted to grab a table on the inside but it was no more space. Opted to eat the icecream in the car. I definitely will be back. Thanks for the wonderful day filled with wonderful icecream.

A really cool feel. An old pub with dark wood and creative flavors in the cares. The base is slightly more crystalline than creamy. We got the chocolate peanut paradise and the never veggies seem chocolate butter pecan. Awesome chocolate base. Deducted 1 star for the absolutely disgusting bathrooms (both male and female)

O M G! This place could not get more perfect (for me anyway). Not only is the icecream here made by hand and fresh w/ variety'o'plenty but the decor is outstandingly marvelous!!!! It's like you walked into a classy barn, if such a thing! There are a few tables and chairs but the majority of the 'dining' is done on built-in wood benches! Cow decor is everywhere - sweet artwork, unique trinkets and awesome cow bells & old fashioned icecream scoops hang from the ceilings. So cute and quaint. It was really fun finding a seat to enjoy our icecream AND to watch the live band! I'm not sure of the band's name but they played music right up my proverbial alley - mostly jazz and blues. The tip jar was filling up nicely and rightly so. To make it even MORE festive, a large (wedding?) party came in and were so happy and were dressed up - some of the children even had balloons. I enjoyed watching them. As for the icecream . . . I got pistachio (hmmm, it was white and not dyed!) and chocolate butter amond. Both were so good and perfect. Not too dense, although, I DO like that as well and absolutely tasty. The nuts were nice sized and plentiful. And OMG - the chocolate butter almond! The chocolate was really dark and delicious! I wish I took a picture but I think I was too enthralled in the surroundings to! Really! I'm absolutely going back and hope to on a Saturday night!!!!!!!!! You need to go to experience it! I LOVE THIS PLACE!

3 and 3/4 stars…read more Someone said a "slice of Boca"? No, not quite. (Although "not Boca" isn't necessarily a bad thing.) However you look at it, the comparison is inflated. The latte was good (not delicious), but a tad watery with a fullness of flavor missing. It was a rainy Saturday afternoon and the place was busy, but not overwhelming so. Tables were full, but it was only a short wait for me to place my simple order (by coffee shop standards) of a small, vanilla latte. However, once my order was taken (yes, the wait-server was pleasant) and I paid, I was left to figure it out. First time in and so I didn't know what the deal was: do I wait where I am? Pick up at a different counter? Ok...but where? Does someone call my drink out when it's ready (there's no put-your-name-on-a-cup thing -- which IS annoying, but apparently can be more handy than I've previously thought)? Is the order stated when the cup is placed down? The person who waited on me had vanished into a gaggle of chatting and giggling girls behind the counter, so I asked another customer. (FYI: you wait at the perpendicular counter to your left of the register.) No big deal, but it's one of those "little things" that separates the four stars from the five. I moved to the "wait" counter and observed a few drinks being placed down -- all beverages in similar cups -- and had to (again) ask someone else for help (i.e., which order was mine), as the barista who made my drink put it down and then disappeared into that gaggle of girls. (Also minor, but another separator of the three and three quarter stars from the four.) In short, the latte was good, but not the best. The service? Ok, but not the best. The ambiance? Again ok. Maybe because I've lived in SE Florida for more than 20 years, but it definitely does not have that true Boca feel. Nonetheless, given the options in the area, Hamilatte is a welcome attempt at something different, and definitely a preferred choice to Starbucks. I will return if I'm nearby, but I won't go out of my way (as I do for a truly 5-star establishment).

I wanted some coffee and something sweet like a pastry and decided to try Dunkin' by our friend's place instead of Starbucks. This location had plenty of parking, and indoor booth seating too. The employees were helpful and patient with me when I ordered my party's order and when I took some time to figure out what I wanted since I wasn't sure what I wanted to order yet. They made sure to ask if I wanted a carrier and a bag for the orders I made, and were friendly and helpful the entire transaction. I'd definitely come back if I'm ever in the area even if you can't make left turns in this state :P I ended up ordering some glazed donut holes, sugar donuts, everything bagel with cream cheese (toasted), a dunkacinno, a latte, and a black coffee for the group. Everything was yummy & everyone was happy with what they ordered.

Such a great concept. Their menu has so many delicious sounding items but I decided since it was my first time to try "staples" which was a sandwich and soup combo. The cheddar broccoli soup was spectacular! The flavor and heartiness won me over. I tried the pear and gouda panini as my 1/2 sandwich which was also quite tasty. Oh and my iced raspberry cheesecake cappuccino was my favorite! Soooooo dreamy. And the customer service was great too. A mixed drink with a great pour size, and a bottle of soda was $12 - which is cheaper than most venues considering it was a full bottle and we go to keep the cap and the mixed drink was large. We saw "The Carpenters", which I saw a while back at the Algonquin theater. I wanted to see the show again because it was so good, but this show was like listening to the B-side of a 45. I can't even tell you how disappointed I was that they didn't play many hits. She sang covers from other artists and not so popular hits. I personally found it strange the way the show began with the guy running the strand, coming on stage with a piece of paper talking, and then having us stand for the Pledge of Allegiance. I have no problems saying the Pledge of Allegiance, but I just found the whole thing odd. I've never gone to any other musical event or show where they had everyone stand up and say the Pledge of Allegiance prior to the event. I also had a rude person seating us. I thought I had bought center orchestra, but it turned out that I bought center tier and when I told him I just wanted to look at my phone to verify what I had purchased because I thought my tickets were wrong. He got nasty with me and told me that's what your ticket said that's what you bought and I told him to just give me a minute so I could just look it up on my phone to verify and it wasn't like he had anything else to do or he was seating anyone else I didn't ask him to wait with me. I understood that my tickets were for the tier, but before I climb the stairs to the top, I wanted to make sure that I got the correct tickets from Will call, but instead of just letting me be, he felt the need to argue with me when there was no argument to be had, and him finally walking away, saying whatever. Other than him all the other people working there were great. This was just one experience but normally I never have any problems there.
