Three members of my family decided to check out this diner today. We got the bagel breakfast sandwich, country fried steak, and the everything omelet. Although the food was well made, each meal was brought out separately with a long wait between each item. The ambiance was good, though the waitress was hard to find when we needed to speak with her. Unfortunately when we went to pay our bill, there was a hidden 4% charge that came up, They call it a tech charge. There were no signs nor anything on the menu about this additional charge. When asked about it, the girl on the register had no clue what it was, just that it was something the owner had put on the bill. This reeks of dishonest dealings. We just didn't really have a good experience here. Anyone can make breakfast at home so when you go out for breakfast it's more about the service and the relaxation over anything. I noticed that service was very slow and if you wanted any thing you had to go track down multiple servers throughout the restaurant. My meal came with bacon but they omitted it from the food that came out. When I asked about it, they said they would get it. Asked someone else about it 10 minutes later. Ultimately got no bacon with my meal. I also got a bagel with cream cheese, I had to ask for cream cheese twice and finally after waiting twenty minutes, I went up to the bar and stood their waiting until they handed it to me. We also had no drinks throughout our whole meal. Multiple people asked us if we wanted refilled and we said yes, yet even 20-30 minutes later no orange juice or water came. I was super disappointed with the service because it was just not a relaxing environment and you feel like you are a bother being at the restaurant. The pancake is the only thing that brought this up to two stars since it was really good. Another annoying thing was the tab was $28 so we gave $40 and asked for change. She brought us a ten dollar bill and two ones. Then she was no where to be found again. So yeah we left the $10. Kinda BS. Tipped 36% on the bad service. Bring small bills back? Underwhelming food and service. The first time we went, we were there for about 2 hours total. It was a Sunday so we weren't too put off by it and understood the wait. It did take the server about 20 minutes to take our drink orders and another 15 to take our food orders because she ran off before we could complete our initial order. We both ordered the the hot hash skillet and our sunny side up eggs were severely undercooked. The cinnamon roll was dry and only had a sliver of cinnamon filling. Coffees and waters were not refilled regularly and we had to track people down for refills. The server was nice and apologetic at least. Went again today and I ordered the Up N At Em with French toast, eggs, bacon, and hash browns. The hash browns and eggs were the best part. The French toast was made out of bread so stale I couldn't even cut it with a knife and the bacon was over cooked and almost jerky-like. Went in Sat AM at 10:25 & sat at counter by myself. Had to wait 15 min to order 2 dippy (sunny-side up) eggs, bacon, & potatoes at 10:40 am. I counted: 4 servers & 10 people total in the diner. My food didn't arrive until 11:30 am, after I flagged a server & asked. They had a 5 yr old girl sitting next to me, rolling silverware into napkins - she kept playing on her phone, wiping her nose, & then grabbing more silverware with the same hand. The bacon was overcooked & horrible. Of the 2 eggs, one yolk was cracked. The "hashbrowns" were those dry rounds you buy from the freezer section - they were like hockey puck hard. Stopped by for a weekday breakfast at this strip mall diner. It's set up with classic retro diner decor, lots of tables and a small bar. We had the kielbasa hash special and a veggie omelette. Omelette was very tasty and a generous portion - enough for two meals. Hash was okay, but nothing remarkable. We were not impressed with the hash browns, pretty bland. Service was pretty slow and not very attentive, it seemed like they were probably understaffed. I saw one of the waitstaff get into a bit of a disagreement with a customer about what they had ordered, which didn't give me a good impression. First time here. Greeted quickly and asked if I wanted a table or sit at the counter. Sat at the counter and server immediately took drink order and gave me a menu. Ordered a turkey bacon club with french fries. The sandwich was HUGE. Like the size of two big sandwiches. Loaded with turkey and bacon that was crisp and not greasy. On fresh Mancini bread. A little mayo dabbed on it from the side and this tasted terrific! Fries were nicely brown and crisp. The Coke was served on a large glass. This was a good filling lunch and the servers were real nice. I know this place gets mixed reviews but from what I ate and saw, they are trying hard to make this diner work. Met a friend here for lunch today. While we didn't exactly order what the name might suggest, we did both get a couple of their basic burgers, with fries for me and their chips for my buddy. I have stopped in once before and gotten breskfast, and as I recall, the omelet I had was great! The server was polite and personable, the burger and fries were delivered promptly, hot and delicious! After a late Saturday night of moving we decided to check out Ham N Eggers via Uber Eats. I ordered my wife The Usual (2 eggs any way you want, choice of meat, choice of potatoes, & toast). She opted for sweet sausage vs hot, scrambled eggs, hash rounds, & Italian toast. The portion was huge for the price. She wasn't a fan of the sausage as it was more of a sweet Italian sausage. She's the only Italian I know that hate Italian sausage. I got the jumbo cinnamon roll with a side of bacon & home fries. The cinnamon roll was a lot bigger than I expected, it was also cut in half and grilled. The bacon was thick and smokey. Chewey in the right spot and crispy as well. The home fries were perfect. Nicely seasoned potatoes with chunks of onions. Overall I dug this place. The Italian sausage for breakfast seemed odd, but I'd probably try it myself. read more

I'm not sure if the waitress just forgot to put in our order or something but it took 45mins to get our food. It wasn't busy since it was about close to closing time. My husband ordered the skillet and I ordered chicken and waffles. Our friend order the morning mix. The waffles came out HARD and it wasn't edible. My husbands egg wasn't over easy like he wanted. We couldn't find the waitress. He had to go to the front counter to ask for another egg because we were starving at this point. The waitress was a little short and made unnecessary remarks. When she brought the correct egg out she said normally people don't get there eggs that way. If that was the case then why would she ask how we wanted our eggs. Overall it was below average. Stopped here for breakfast mid morning. I was here years ago when it was Hot Metal Diner and nothing seems to have changed except for the name, which is fine by me. The breakfast options seem to be aimed at folks who have physically demanding jobs. Everything was tasty, but I think loaded in butter and fat. The home fries serving size looks to be a meal on it's own. The prices are on the high side but if you can get here before 9am they have a good priced special. I substituted fruit for the home fries and am glad I did. I also swapped out the bread for an English muffin. There was an upcharge for this and I don't think I would make that choice again. The eggs were good as was the bacon. Often I've found that thick bacon is chewy like jerky. Not this bacon - it was crispy and flavorful, probably not as lean as at other places. I also sensed that there was sugar sprinkled on top. If you're looking for the diner experience, this is a good option. If you're looking for a lean, low fat meal then keep looking! read more

I'm sorry to say it was first time I had to walk out of restaurant, one bad thing after another. It was a Sunday morning and a little crowded but no excuse. It started with our server setting pancakes right in front of us, when I asked oh did our breakfast have a pancake with it? She looked at her order pad and said oh, I put the wrong order in for you and then took our pancake away and brought it back to the expediting line to reserve it to someone.? Bus boy cleaned table next to us by spraying the table with an offensive cleaner that woft right at us , Breakfast finally came out and looked terrible. Easy over eggs were way overcooked, 1 broken, bacon was burnt on 1 side and raw on the other, toast unevenly cooked and she forgot my potatoes. And she left us with no silverware, we had enough. we told cashier we can't even eat it. She understood and apologize. I wanted to like this place but unfortunately didn't. It was not cheap either. I never want to see a business go under but if this place doesn't find some consistency I am concerned for it's longevity. read more
