This curb came out of nowhere and I popped 2 tires - front and back. It was after 6pm and everyone else was closed. A customer at a shop told me who to call and I am so thankful!! They came to me - took off the popped tires and returned with 2 brand new about 30 min later. I would have had to tow my car twice to manage the situation. they saved me so much money and stress. It was the only place open on a Saturday night, Google profile says it's open 24 hrs. When I call, a guy with a middle eastern accent says, I close at 11, and when we punch in the address to get there, it said closed at 10. Like, what? There already, I was annoyed. When I called him to verify he was open and we didn't waste our insurance tow miles, he tells me oh, cash only, (weird) and oh I close at 11, when are you going to be here? Very persistent guy, no empathy whatsoever because of the fact we just got a flat tire in this doomed state full of potholes. We get there and as our tow truck driver leaves us and takes off, the guy on the phone wasn't even there, he's like big brother or the godfather, boss of everyone, but he never shows his face. The attendant is short and not nice as well, he says oh 150 for a new tire and that's it. He tells me to call the godfather to see if he'll go lower, to which he says ok 130. Like, prices shouldn't be negotiable, your product is what it is, that's a huge red flag. That tire is probably 50 bucks brand new, I don't recognize the brand but we needed one and it was the only place nearby that was open. They attendant took a while to make me a receipt, just hands it to me and walks over to another customer that was there. No thank you, see you later or have a good night. Complete disregard for their customers and no manners. No wonder they have like a 3 star rating. Never coming here again, if I don't need to. Save your money and go with a trusted business that treats you like a human being. PS: looked up the price of the tire we got, it's 75 dollars, got charged 130. Not sure where the bad reviews come from, but I received top notch service late at night at around 8pm. I was checking my car before a scheduled family road trip and realized a tire had a nail in it, and I was not about to risk driving long hours with that in my tire. This was the day before, and late in the day, it turned out this place is open late, and I gave them a call. They quoted me 40 dollars for a used tire. I just needed something that would get me through my trip, and they had it. When I arrived there was a little wait; being the only tired shop open late, I expected it. Once it was my turn, the team changed my tire quickly and even showed me the one I was getting and why it was $40 and considered used but reassured me it still had good life in it, and it did, and it served me well. Got through a total of 2880 miles of driving on this road trip with no issues. This place literally saved my life and my trip. I found my go-to tire spot should I ever need another one. Got a flat tire 3/27/26 at 8pm on a Friday night in the middle of my commute from work in East LA to home in Ventura. AAA came and pulled a screw out of the tire and put in a temporary plug to fill the hole. The driver told me about nearby Hamati Tires open til 10pm. The technician at Hamati identified that my tire was still in overall good condition, patched it, and had me back on the road in under 30 mins. The cost was beyond reasonable. WOW! Great service! Owner provides disgusting service. I want to emphasize THE OWNER. For context, I have come to this business for over five years for used tires, and to get my tires switched when needed. The workers have been so helpful, and so accommodating. There was even one time that I did not want to pay for a tow, and a worker kindly drove to my place to switch the tire for me since it was in the area. I tipped him extra. It has been known to me that the business owner is not as accommodating, but I have been grateful to receive the service that I have from his employees. Today I have two flat tires. Hence I called to check and see if they have the tires I need. The owner answers, I tell him I am looking for new or used tires, and when I ask him to give me a moment so I can give him the tire numbers, it was not even 30 seconds and he tells me rudely to just call him back when I'm ready. Given that it only gave me a few seconds I was able to tell him the numbers on the phone right then and there. He told me that he will check and will call me back, which he did. He then goes off to say that the tires are available, brand new, not used. I asked him how much and he said $100 for each one. Atlas Brand. I told him that I will call him right back, which I did. Note- my tire numbers are 215 50r17. If you do a general search for the price, these are not $100 each. They run from $72-$75. After checking the price, I called him back, asking why he is up selling people when the price is not even close to what he's charging. He said he does not care and that I can buy it from the other business then. I told him that the reason I called his location is because I am in the area, therefore is convenient and so I asked if he can match the prices? He said no, why don't you just go with them? I asked him again. Why is he up selling people and charging them extra for what the tires originally cost. Again, he said he did not care and "I'm going to make money anyways." Hamati Tires has been a reliable business for me for at least five years, and it's disheartening that the owner of this location lacks complete dignity and integrity to his customers and is completely greedy even if it means ripping people off. I have always tipped the workers very well when I have come to change the tires because I got the inkling that the owner is the way that he is and today just proved that. Won't ever come back and will let the people I've recommended to come here to not either. read more

Five stars for a no frills, neighborhood tire shop. The gentleman I spoke with, who I assume is the owner, came outside to look at my tire after a large chain told me I needed a new tire. This dude looked at it and told me he can plug it for $10. Music to my ears. I gave him $20, as everyone should. We came here for back tires and wanted a rear wheel alignment WHEN we got the tires. They said it would be fine. We left and maybe a few blocks down the road it started to shake. We brought the car back to see about getting the alignment and all the owner did was argue. We've been sitting here for 30 min waiting for them to just take the tires off and give the money back. There's no other cars here. They even proceeded to load a truck up with tires instead of handling their customer. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service! Don't shop here! I was in and out within 10-15 mins! I asked for a patch for my tire which had a nail / screw. $15 for a patch. Such amazing value. I dont really know what else to say other than I got what I came to do, paid a really good price, and was in and out pretty quickly. I still got to go to the appointment that I needed to go to and did not have too much of a dent in my schedule. They only take cash but the liquor store and the dispensary in front has an ATM. Some folks might find the location a bit hard to pull up to since their driveway fits 1 car so other customers have to kinda tetris their way into squeezing in the other spots and might have to pull in and out but you know, comes with the location. Such is life, not a dealbreaker I guess. I hope to never have to come back here but will definitely do in the event of need. read more

He could easily have scammed me by charging for a whole new tire, but he was kind and truthful. He fixed the tire in about 5 minutes and only charged me $10. I recently had a flat tire due to a nail. My better half recommended this place so we came right when they opened. There were about two customers already there before us with one more arriving after us. It's a tight lot/driveway and there was only one mechanic working so it was a bit of a wait. One customer got tired of waiting, went thug life and fixed his tire himself, paying for what he used (never seen that before). My tire was serviced really quick once it was our turn. They inspected and tested the tire to see if it could be patched, but the tire was shredded from the inside so we had to buy one. Cost $40 for a tire but they're cash only - unfortunately we only had $35. The mechanic let us pay with what we had and return with the rest (which we promptly did after visiting the nearest ATM). Overall my experience was good. Go early if you can but they're also open until 10PM in case you need service that can't wait. read more

You are better going to an actual legit tire shop, because this place is the worst. The only time you go here the middle of the night when every other place is closed. They don't even want to balance the tires, after it's installed (brand new tires) lol The guy was telling me you only need to balance the front tires haha. Torquing the wheels on your tire is extremely important, you definitely will not get this here. They will tighten the lug nuts with a 1/2 impact gun at over 150 Ft lbs of torque read more
