On my way to Los Angeles from Merced, one of my rear tires was badly damaged. I managed to reach Los Angeles using the small spare tire. It was my first time in the city, I did not know anyone, and I simply searched online for a nearby used-tire shop. TLC Tires on Oxnard Street appeared in the results. What I experienced there was professionalism at the highest level, but even more importantly, genuine kindness. I asked Ramon for a used tire, and he gave me two options priced at $60 and $70. Wow, oh wow!! This place is a hidden gem!!! Raymon is super humble and ethically honest! I was turned down by four tire shops. I drive a Mercedes and my tires are run flats. The Mercedes dealership on Van Nuys , and American tires in SHERMAN OAKS both wanted to rip me off and have me pay over $500 to get my tire fixed. I had a bolt in my left rear tire. I google search tire shops near me in Van Nuys and called TLC Tires, spoke to Raymond, He said come in and he will take a look at it. He took a look at it. He said that the tire was fixable that the other companies wanted to rip me off. He said at his place they work ethically it doesn't matter what kind of car I drive I pay the same amount to get the car patched. Wow they are lifesavers! I had gotten a tire from another place and noticed it was losing air. They were closed by the time I arrived and I was frantic to get help. I noticed the sign and that they were opened so drove over. I explained they I'd just bought two used tires earlier that but that one was losing air and was worried about getting home to LA. They said they'd look at it. I told the young man that my car said one tire was low but the one losing air didn't register with the warning light. He checked both tires and than took the one losing air off. As he was working an older gentleman doublechecked and explained that they hadn't screwed it in properly and that it was being poked.
