Unfortunately I don't have any enthusiasm for this local burger joint. I've given this place, and the Beaumont location, a few tries, but the burgers are ALWAYS dry and bland. I would never recommend this restaurant for a good burger; maybe they have other options but "Hamburger" should not be the centerfold. read more

This location really just doesn't do as good a job as the one on Cardinal Drive. That's really sad for me, since I live in mid-county now. Tonight, the meat was dry and flavorless and the onion rings small, soggy and scarce. Half a dozen skimpy rings for $2.39. I wish there was something between "Meh" and "A-OK" because that's where the Nederland Hamburger Depot belongs. read more

I won't bother getting too detailed in this review. I'll just say that I've been to all the burger joints in this area, quite a few in the Houston, Austin, and Dallas area, including the famous In-N-Out Burger, and they just don't compare to Hamburger Depot. I don't know what it is about this place but they do it right. Aside from the awesome burgers, the service is generally quick and friendly, and the fries are pretty good. You want a good burger, you go to Hamburger Depot. And that's all I have to say about that. read more

Good burger...not as great as expected though...the service was very quick and the onion rings were good as well..,prices aren't bad and they only have a pick-up window for call-ins rather than a drive-thru, although I'm sure they'll let you order there...plenty to choose from on the menu...no sweets, however, which I found odd...anyway the burgers are huge and the price is not...worth a check-in. read more

The food was very disappointing to me the burgers were greasy and the meat dry.... The fries were extreamly greasy . And when I paid with my credit card I found several days later someone had changed my tip amount by adding a 1 in front of it to make it ten dollars higher. When I complained I was told it was an accident that the person before mine was confused with mine which was bull crap.... I give hamburger depot two thumbs down. read more

Very disappointing - Hamburger Depot on Nederland Ave. Tried to call in our order to avoid the wait. Was immediately put on hold, after 12 minutes the call disconnected (which means they hung up). Called back, was asked if I could hold and said "No, I already spent 12 minutes on hold." the employee ignored me and put me back on hold anyway, I hung up and won't be going back. No matter how good your product is, poor customer service will drive customers away. Sure they have good burgers but so do other places around this area. read more

Worst place ever. Hamburger bun was hard and the grilled chicken plate had a very thin dry piece of chicken. And to top it all off they forgot to put salad in to go order. Too expensive for what you get. Terrible, terrible, terrible food! read more

I ordered a burger to go at 1:28 (time on ticket) and got it at 1:45. I was the only customer at that time. The meat was very dry and only mediocre in taste. Maybe it was a bad day or cook forgot, but I don't plan to ever go back. read more

If I could give this place a negative stars I would. Will never eat here again. They messed up my child's food adding jalapeño on a burger for a kid and then refused to fix it because it was through the Waitr app. Horrible customer service.. refused to fix their screw up. Had an attitude about it and blamed the Waitr app for them making it wrong. The manager Heather was a b**ch about it and wouldn't take any responsibility for them making the order wrong.. worst place ever.. will never eat here again read more

Have given this location a couple of chances to wow me over....it hasn't happened. The burgers are under seasoned and bland at best. The quality doesn't warrant the price in my book. It's a burger..not a great burger. Burgers are substantial enough, but nothing to go back for. read more

This was the first time my boyfriend and I have ate at Hamburger Depot and it will also be the last. With how long it took for them to make our food, you would think it would have been fresh. We bought two burgers, two orders of fries, an order of sweet potato fries and 3 fried pickles. It seems like the place is run by a bunch of kids. We could hear them yelling in the kitchen about how my boyfriend's burger was messed up. "There's supposed to be chili on this burger! It's supposed to be on toast, now you have to take it all apart!" The burger was so messy by the time they got it right, he had to eat it with a fork. The burgers did not taste bad, but after I finished mine, I went to eat a jalapeno that had fallen off of it and I immediately had to spit it out. It was mushy and seemed old, if not spoiled. I guess I did not notice them mixed in on my burger because the burger itself was kinda soggy. The fries and the sweet potato fries were the worst part, they were a total waste of money. They were definitely old, they were cold and stale like they had been sitting out for hours. It was horrible, I forced myself to eat what I could just so it would not be a complete waste of money. Both of us felt sick to our stomachs after eating there. The fried pickles were good, at least... I can't believe we wasted nearly $30 on this horrible food when we could have just made fresh burgers at home for half the price. You are better off going to McDonald's. read more

This was the worst experience I have ever had with any restaurant!! For starters I was in the drive thru window for 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence. Finally a young lady came to the window and my co worker and I wanted to split the order. But this was too much work for her to do... She didn't want to walk back and forth to the register be it was "too far". Wtf!! So my co worker had to go into restaurant. Ok so we finally received our food. Wow what a wonderfully bland burger with a side of hair. In addition cold fries and soggy onion ring. I would recommend this establishment to anyone. NOTT! Smh. read more

Pretty good casual place to eat! We heard it was great and we live down the street so err decided to try it and I was more impressed than I thought! I got the 5 finger meal (I don't care for burgers too much) the salad was boring and tasted like it was out of the bag and was to shredded for my liking, but the ranch dressing was delicious. Boyfriend got the Swiss mushroom burger and the thing was HUGE. he can eat but took half of it home and is still saying he's too full! We also ordered the bacon cheese fruits which weren't anything special but the bacon was nice and crispy. My meal was delicious and better than I thought it would be since it isn't a chicken fingers establishment;) the gravy was definitely my favorite part and the chicken was fried perfectly. The staff was kind and very helpful as I decided what I wanted and was very knowledgeable about the menu. Great place overall if you're looking for a casual night out! read more
