My husband & I happened upon this restaurant while traveling on I-75 to visit our daughter in South Georgia. All I can say is WOW!! The filet that I had was ABSOLUTELY the best tasting that I have ever put into my mouth!! The pricing was great compared to the quality of the food. My husband was so pleased with his that he wanted to order one to go & have it the next day. The customer service of the staff was well above average. I was doubly impressed when a gentleman who introduced himself as the owner came to our table & inquired as to how did we enjoy our meal!! As I stated earlier; WOW!! You just don't expect to be treated this way in today's hectic, hurry-up, me-me-me world that we live in. Let me tell you what, we will DEFINITELY be going back. I loved this place before the remodel. I was very happy to see they were open again. I tried to call on Friday to order dinner. First off, they have a new number. I found the new number a tried to call several times. No one would answer. The phone would ring multiple time and then I would get a recording that said the voice-mail had not been set up yet. We ordered a grilled cheese and 3 chicken fingers at 1 pm on a Saturday while here for a soccer game. If I could give this place a negative score I would. It took us 55 minutes to get THREE CHICKEN FINGERS AND A GRILLED CHEESE. There were no apologies. No explanation. Food was very below average. Not sure how you mess up a grilled cheese. Expensive and not so great. You have to build your own burger. Even if you call it in, they make you go in and build the burger and condiments in a self serve station. $8+ for a burger meal that you have to prepare yourself. Building is old and smells like mold. Out and about today, my wife and I drove by Hamburger Mike's and thought it'd be a good place to try. We were greeted warm enough by the owner, from what we gathered, placed our order and took our seat to wait for our food. While we waited, drinking our drinks, we began to hear several parties complaining about the wait they have had. Several groups had been waiting nearly an hour for their hamburgers. My wife and I looked at each and thought we may have made a mistake. When a couple went to the owner and said they had been waiting an hour and would like their money back, the owner got an attitude with them, only for their food to come out just then, and he yelled at the guy who brought it out to take it back, they don't want it. He gave them their money, and waved them away. A few minutes later, another later, a woman complained about the same thing, and the owner's response was fairly flippant about how they had a huge party come in and they were moving as quickly as possible, and then he told her he had customers. This was 35-40 minutes into our own wait, and shortly there after, we got our order. Right after we got our food, another group came in, and one of the members was asking about something with the side orders, and the owner got sarcastic with him, and not in a funny way, but in an annoyed way. The food was actually pretty good. The burgers were good. The fries were good, but my personal favorite was the homemade chips, which is a shame, because we'll probably never step foot back into this place, because while it was good, it wasn't worth the near hour long wait for the food, nor the disrespect the owner showed some patrons. The final straw was when we were almost on the way out, the owner went into the back, and about 5 minutes later, one of the cook's (the same who brought out our food in fact), came storming out of the back, huffing and puffing, stomped through the entrance door. We followed him, heading toward our own car, and he is on the phone, cursing very loudly talking about how the owner came in the back yelling at him, blaming him for how slow things are. He was kicking the sidewalk, cursing the owner, and then got into his truck and peeled away. I'm honestly not sure if he quit or was fired. Now, I honestly do not know who's to blame for the extremely slow service, but seeing as how we witnessed the owner treats patrons of his place, I can't imagine what it would be like for employees. Dang solid burgers going on here folks. Fresh toppings and GREAT bacon! I was also impressed with the Irish Chili, which was perfectly spiced with tender meat that had not been cooked to mush. The staff was a perfect and friendly fit with this place, and the place was CLEAN! Perfect little burger joint. Only thing I noticed it lacked was beer, but I figure this is more a factor of the churches all along Jodeco Road and Georgia's stupid alcohol laws. I went here with my family in hopes of finally finding a good burger joint in Henry county. Unfortunately we are still looking. The owner would not stop talking while we were trying to have a family lunch...dear owner STOP TALKING!!! That was annoying enough and the burgers were nothing but frozen patties put on a grill. I can say this because their food truck arrived while we were there. Our 3 year old daughter even refused to eat the chicken nuggets because she did not like them at all. I agree with the sign- best burger in Henry county. The owner is great- very kind and thoughtful. I had an 8oz angus burger with onion rings and fries and it was Delish. Very very mediocre. Not seasoned well. Customer service was great and they sale some good huge cookies. I will not return. Oh and the bacon was gross on my burger. Try "Mikie Burger" on Jonesboro Road McDonough now that's a very good burger. read more

I think this place is very good. Yes, the prices are not low, but the quality and quantity more than make up for it. You can get a 1/3 lb burger with all the fixins and excellent homemade fries for about $8. The other sides were also good. The service was also good. I can't figure out what the attraction is to this place. As stated in previous reviews this used to be a good place soon after it opened. Tonight a little busy, but should have been manageable. Apparently not tonight. 25 minutes to get our order and about 20 minutes after the party in front of us and after the people behind us. Simple orders regular cheese burgers fries and rings. The gal at the register had no idea what drinks went with what meal. We had two kids meals and one adult. She had two large cups on the counter. We had to bring that to her attention. While waiting for our order I noticed the cook dousing the grill with a liquid and then scraping the flat top. With our burgers still on it! So in the process of soaking our burgers in who knows what. You are cooling the flat top even more. My burger was supposed to be medium, was more like rare. A few small onion rings complete the plate. I guess the fries were a better choice.The child's burger was so small that they had to pull half the bun off just to get to the meat. For what it is - a local burger joint - the burgers and service are excellent. It's friendly and clean, too. I would have liked some tomatos and lettuce on my burger but didn't think to order it (thinking it would be on the fixins table). The decor is really cheap looking, though (really? 20 string art and U.S. Navy wallpaper? ) The biggest problem I had, though, was the TV blaring Fox News. This is a small business operation, but they compete with the best of burger joints I've been to. More of a traditional style burger, but the simplicity is what I love the most. I really love the "toppings" bar they have where you can pick as much and many toppings as you'd like for your burger. They have quite a few different foods offered for anyone looking for something different as well. The location always has friendly, helpful staff awaiting you. Not Best in Henry County as they claim. Ordered and paid for Hamburgers , Onion Rings and Sweet Potato fries on line for pickup. When I got there I had to wait in line behind 3 -4 people placing orders before I was waited on. By then my food was getting cold. Onion Rings were diced, preformed frozen rings and definitely not good. Had to go to a salad bar in the waiting area to get my own toppings for the burgers from bulk food wells.(thought these things were not approved during COVID) Tongs were used by everybody without cleaning and pump dispensers for Ketchup, Mustard and Mayo so everybody was touching the pumps. Gloves were available for those who chose to use them. Hamburgers ordered Medium Well, cooked Well Done (No pink or juice left in them). Seemed overpriced for the food. There are better Hamburgers available in the area. Save the $ 1.50 "convenience" fee and do not order on line. read more

This place has bad air conditioning, long waits, greasy food, and is completely disorganized. When I arrived 5 minutes to 1, people who came in before me recieved their meals before me.
