My family and I have bought 3 Nissans from Hamilton over the last few years. All three were preowned. Paid over $20k on each one. And all three had issues that the dealer wouldn't cover! High fees on used cars. We were considering a car that was listed at 29k. With taxes and other fees you'd expect it to be around 32-33k. Imagine my surprise when they said the total came out to almost 36k! Close to $7,000 over the listed price. When I asked about it I was told they have a paint protection they apply and it includes an extended service warranty (that I didn't ask for mind you). I guess at least they're up front about these fees, but it makes you reconsider if you want to buy a car from this place. They were able to come down some on the price to a more reasonable level, which was helpful. However, on two separate occasions they were running specials for used cars. Somehow the car I was looking at "didn't qualify" for either deal even though at least one of their coupons said "any used car". read more

I have always had a hard time trying to purchase a new or used vehicle here. Their prices are pretty high, especially after they calculate their fees, taxes etc into the overall cost. It's very disappointing that the dealership is so unwilling to work with you when you are trying to buy. They definitely try to push you into an extended long term loan that other dealerships don't and banks suggest not to do. The night I was here I was interested in a Jeep they had listed online. While I was waiting for my salesperson to talk to finance for me, 2 other customers actually walked out over the pricing they were offered. We were unfortunately unable to come to an agreement on terms for the Jeep. They were offering me a 5-7 year loan for a 2012 Jeep with a payment between $400-$500 a month. I can get a newer Jeep for a lot less. I am giving them 2 stars because they do have a nice selection of both new and used vehicles. They are also very friendly to work with. read more

Hamilton Nissan charged me $975 for work that did not fix my car. They wanted to charge me another $2,700+ for a fix that was ultimately $0.26 (that I had done without them). After getting nowhere with a refund from them or Nissan corporate (it was corporate who diagnosed the car and requested the part), my credit card company agreed with me and refunded my money. At this point, Hamilton Nissan ownership is telling me that I defrauded them, that I am not an honest man, and that I cheated them out of their money. Hello??? YOU ARE TRYING TO CHARGE ME FOUR THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR A 26-CENT FIX. Who is the fraudulent one here? read more

Hamilton Nissan's service department uses deceptive sales techniques to drive their bottomline. Today I was the victim of the old "bait and switch" technique. I took my car to Hamilton Nissan for standard maintenance and service in preparation for a road trip. Prior to starting the service, I asked for an estimate and I was given an amount in the $400 range. I agreed to amount and let them do the work on my car. Fast forward, the work is complete and it's time to pay for the service. The bill is north of $500. When I inquired about the increase, I received a "bs" answer about parts. I then proceeded to inquire about the cost of the parts that created the higher price and received yet another "bs" response that did not add up. I reluctantly paid the invoice. But, going forward, I will not be using Hamilton Nissan. They lost a customer today. For those of you who are considering Hamilton Nissan and who are loyal customers, I would suggest that you get a solid estimate before they do any work. Don't fall for the "bait and switch" like me. read more

WOW!!! We took our car there for two recalls and thought we'd be miserable because they said it would take around four hours. It was the most pleasant experience at a service center, EVER! The waiting area was VERY nice, clean, comfortable, and beyond great service. We were there early on a Saturday morning and the employee walked us back to the waiting area, there were FREE doughnuts, coffee, water, even snacks! There was a really nice indoor play area for folks with children, an outside play area, and places to plug in your phone charger. There was a drink and snack machine as if the free stuff wasn't enough, the bathrooms were clean too! We were updated on how much longer the car would be when it was close to the quoted four hours, which was really nice, and they even washed the car! Time was taken to tell us what was done, notes on other potential issues from the mechanic, and it wasn't rushed like most places herd you through like cattle. VERY nice experience! Thank you! The wait time for other folks seemed to go pretty quickly as well. read more

Individually, these 2 shops are ok at best. Cars are returned from the body shop obviously pulled out of the shop by the person doing the sanding( everything covered in filler or primer dust). The mechanical side lost my wheel key. Left the package laying on the seat empty. They also refused to align the headlights even after they agreed that they would the day before. Its when they have to work together that they turn into children, arguing with me over what the other wont do, even after I was told by management they would. Apparently they fight back and forth with each other at the customers expense. Keep in mind they have done all of my mechanical work, warranty work, and collision repair totaling about 15k. It cost me more to change my oil myself, but I will gladly do this myself from now on. I already have children so I hear enough thank you. read more

Review all service they do to your vehicle if you use them. Took my car in for AC not working, and transmission overheating issues. After 4 visits they told me the AC computer was bad and needed to be replaced, and there was nothing they could do about my transmission, it was toast, and needed to be replaced. I explicitly asked them to check the cvt fluid, as they had just replaced it a few months ago. When I took it home, the cvt fluid level was overflowing. Drained it myself and replaced. Pulled out 8qts of fluid, and refilled to full with 5.5. Took it into another shop and they found the high pressure switch on the AC system had rusted and wasn't giving the proper signals to the computer. Replaced the pressure sensor and haven't had any more issues with the AC system. I have attempted to talk to their service manager and the service manager's manager, but no one will take or return phone calls. read more

I purchased my car there and a few months later it was hit by a bus so I sent it to the collision center there since they should already know who I am. They claim they had no record of me which is funny considering they sent me promotional information. Anyhow I told them that my car was due to be serviced and asked if they could do so while it was already there and they said they would, but they didn't. Apparently they forgot. Not sure how they missed this considering that every time you turn the car on it dings and a message comes up on the dash board that says "OIL CHANGE REQIRED". I had to go back on my own time even though they already had my car for three weeks. I was told to bring it in and they would take care of it right away but upon getting there I was informed that everyone was at lunch so it was going to be a while. read more

For starter, very rude and poor customer service, the express woman is as friendly as a door mat, very snappy rude, I been a customers for months an oil change once a month because of the driving I do. I was giving the family plan with my first service ever here then after the third time they tell me they no longer offer it, and that I not eligible anymore, really!!!! You were getting my business every month sometimes every three weeks. I contacted the service department manager which I have yet to get a return phone call, express oil change when You have a good handful of people standing around, and it takes a 1 1/2 for an oil change. The way they climb and slam the door or leave the windows open when it's pouring rain. No respect for customers cars. I won't be back u have gotten my last dollar. Back to give them another try, customer service still as poor as the first time, not to mention as I am working with the woman checking in my truck, a older gentlemen got in the truck moved the truck straight out side, window and keys left in truck so when the gentlemen came back in the door, I asked him are my keys in the truck, I got a a rude smart answer "how do you think I started the vehicle" I said I didn't asked that I asked if my keys were left in the vehicle, the woman checking me in see and hears how rude he is being, comes up to try to step in, so I start talking to her and here comes the rude little guy back to start another argument with me, attacking about me asking if my keys were left in the vehicle. So the woman asked me do I still want the oil change and did I want to talk to the owner son he was on the phone at this time, so I went to go sit down in waiting room, the more I though about it how do you trust a company with your vehicle when u are rudely greeted. So I got up came back out and said forget the oil change I can't trust u with my vehicle when the customer service is so poor, the woman try's to make things right and here comes the guy again to try to start an argument with me again, what kind of service are they running here, I will be going to the corporate of Nissan to let them know how poor of customers service is and how the place is ran, I will never take a foot back to this place again read more

We had bought 2 vehicles from Hamilton Nissan and than talked our son into buying his from there as well because we thought they were great. That was until we had to deal with their service department which was ok in the beginning but got much worse the last few years. We had bought ours when they offered lifetime oil changes and car washes. The last time we had taken my wifes car in on a Saturday for her oil change, we were told 2 hours which is a long time but the problem was it had taken 4 hours. We weren't kept up to date or anything and pretty much at the end than we were told the tech has been replacing a stud which he had broken for the past 45 minutes. (was not the 1st stud they have broken since we have been going there). I also expressed my feelings to the guy who checked us in when we got there and I could not even get an "I'M SORRY" out of him.I called and left a VM for Charlie Hamilton which is supposed to be the service dept manager, well I have never received a call back from him. Even though the lifetime oil changes was a great value to us, we still went somewhere else to trade her 2014 Altima in for a Maxima because I felt it wasn't worth the hassle to deal with that service department any longer. Very disappointed and they've lost a customer. read more

I am appreciate the complimentary oil change, tire rotation, but your service is so busy that it takes longer than usual. It is not a big deal, but the new sticker with the new mileage and oil change date has been forgotten. The workers are nice. read more
