My work colleagues wanted to go out for lunch to a place that I could also eat (kosher) so we went here. I have been here before a few times. My friends feedback was that their Friday Special (Schnitzel Chicken on Challah was excellent). I had the Schnitzel on Pita and it was also great. I like that they now ask you at the register WHAT extras/toppings you want with your order and that helps to speed things up and get your food faster. I only have 2 minor complaints: 1) Seating remains very limited. We were 4 in our group. 2) We didn't want to sit inside because the music was way too loud. I get it you want the Israeli music to make the ambience alive but I recommend you drop the volume and have it lower in the background. I went there to eat not to listen to music or loud noise. It's very noisy inside already. Seating outside is a burden. The sun is blasting over your face and there's no cover or enough tables for customers. Other than that: the food is really REALLY good with good flavor. And I appreciated that the gentleman behind the counter gave me some fries, as I only wanted hummus and tahini on my sandwich. We order from this store almost every week, and unfortunately for the price I can't say I recommend it for what you get. It's one of the only kosher meat places nearby so they will always have their customers (including me) but for 26$ I expect a pita to have a bit more or some side or something, because it's so steep for such little food. Some days it's a packed pita which feels a bit better, and other days it feels like I just get a pita bread with a 2.5 chicken strips and some pickles which feels like a total rip off. The store is fine and is always packed so it's nice to see the store being supported since it is one of the few kosher meat spots but again, it's hard for me to justify the price for what you usually get. read more

We ordered our food on Uber eats and they got our order wrong. Luckily we decided to eat in at the restaurant while we were there and they graciously fixed our order. Best thing about this is that they give so many different type of pickles here! We got the asado pita and next time I'm sitting here in person to eat bc it looks so impressive on the platters. Got the schwarma pita for $21. The portions are generous (worked out earlier and didn't eat breakfast or lunch, came around 2p, was quite satisfied after eating this). I loved that there is a mouthful of meat with each bite. This place must be at least somewhat authentic because when I came there appeared to be many tables of Israelis here (I assume Israelis...I don't speak Hebrew, but it sounds Hebrew. I'm sorry, just digging myself into a deeper hole here...). The wait wasn't long at 2p, the place was still pretty lively. The flavors were good. The ingredients definitely seemed very fresh. I saw other comments say the pita was amazing. For me, the pita was good, but wouldn't call it amazing...it's what I would expect the pita to be. Similarly, the meat and other ingredients inside the pita were also good. Better than most other Mediterranean fast food places I have been to. I would have hoped that the pita would be warmed or toasted fresh but this wasn't the case. It would also be nice if the flavors of the ingredients and the taste of the spices were more pronounced. All in all, one of the better Mediterranean fast food places I have been to, with generous portions. I'd say it's worth a try, but it is simply hard to justify $21 for a pita sandwich at chipotle-style type of place. Amazing food and friendly people. Tucked away in the Ralph's shopping center, across from Mr. Moto's Pizza, is Hamitbach, a small restaurant serving Israeli and similar regional foods. I had the beef shawarma and the meat was flavorful with spices and all the ingredients were extremely fresh. I loved that that the pita was saucy but not too saucy. It was just the right amount. Honestly, perfection. There was a sweet older man walking around cleaning and chatting people up. The kitchen staff were extremely kind and took the time to compliment a small child that came in with a fun face painting. Waltzed in around 2:30pm and the place was lively and full of happy patrons - don't worry, the line moves fast and there's plenty of seating inside, outside, and even a small "bar" table for solo diners like me. The guy helping me might have been the owner - very friendly, welcoming, and hospitable. I asked for a bit of everything so I could try it all.
