I hate that I keep finding great taco places in random Oklahoma small towns versus where I live. Either way, back to the food. The menu was small but everything was great and they even added queso fresco to my tacos which is what set them apart. Most restaurants to carry it so it made a huge difference for me. The servers here are always very polite and attentive. They put up with our antics weekly with a wry, empathetic smile (note the 32 oz. Modelo). The restaurant has seating to accommodate 20-25 people comfortably, which is needed for the daily lunch rush. Tacos La Tia has a blue collar feel yet their food is that of an upscale, high-end eatery. Every dish is packed full of flavor and the portions are just right! I almost used the entire bottle of salsa roja. The restaurant is a small, friendly, family ran operation. The clean interior is plain with café style booths and a few tables. Grab your favorite canned or bottled soda from the cooler. The food is served on foam plates with plastic tableware. The ambiance is afternoon day care. Several, 2- to 3-year-old, well behaved kids were under mom's watchful eye while she worked the front counter. They still made a lot of ear-splitting noise.
