Josie is a rare find, she has expertise with dry cuts, and uses a special technique with layering that doesn't make the hair thin, or get split ends. Another reason I chose Tribe is their commitment to safer and more natural color products. It doesn't smell like chemicals when you walk in the door, that' s good sign. I'm chemically sensitive, but have no issues with their products. Josie is really good with color matching. My first color treatment was similar to what I've done in the past, and I liked it, but on the next visit wanted something bolder. Her next recommendation was to try violet, and I'm absolutely in love with it! It's fun to work with someone who will truly consult with you, and be open to trying new looks. I stopped by recently to buy hair products, and Josie showed me how to properly use them. Their at-home products are Oribe, same brand as the color line, I believe, and they are luxurious and effective. I'm now able to rock my style for multiple days between washings. Rich is a nice guy with a small, simple barber shop offering haircuts and straight shaves at reasonable prices. He is very friendly, easy to talk to and he cuts hair with a lot of skill and years of passion devoted to his craft. He takes cash or card, which is appreciated, and he is open on Sundays as well, only by appointment, but is a nice feature when many other barbers are off on that day.
