We must have got there late as they only had a few bagels left in a couple different flavors. The bagels are a decent size and were delicious. Be prepared to pay though. No menu was posted with items/prices so we were kind of guessing. Service was great and the people working there were nice. DON'T COME HERE ! I would like to rate this location a 0/5 stars. I ordered a bacon egg and cheese with avocado in a wrap, NOT HARD. They charged me for the avocado but then when I got home... they didn't even add the avocado. ALSO the wrap was incredibly, infinitesimally small to the point where it's highly insulting. This is probably the best bagel you'll find in this part of the Hamptons. Goldberg's gets extremely busy in the summer and especially on weekends, so make sure you're prepared for a bit of a wait if you're coming here peak season. That said, the staff is friendly and helpful which makes the wait not so bad. Goldberg's has all the staple bagel, flagel, and cream cheese varieties you'd expect to find at your typical bagel spot, plus a variety of sandwich specials that come with fries if you're stopping in here for lunch. The inside of Goldberg's only offers a few seats, so plan to take your bagel to go unless you're willing to wait it out for one of three tables. It's a casual, no frills spot. My friend, whom I left in the store to order for us, had forgotten to order me yogurt. Yes, I am the heathy conscience one. Today, I simply ordered a regular bagel with butter. it came to $3.50. I asked how much a bagel was, they said $1.75; I answered, "so it cost me twice that to get a pat of butter put on?" This is a personal favorite spot for my family. We used to go to the Southampton location until we moved closer to this one. We always loved going as long as I could remember. Which we still do! It's a great place to stop for an awesome bagel. They have all the classic types and amazing scallion cream cheese. They have teas and coffees as well. They staff is wonderful. But let me tell you. Their hungry man is the best hungry man you will ever have! Usually when you get a hungry man it's greasy and nasty. This one is not. They also put hash browns on it! It is seriously a dream. I refuse to have it from anywhere else now. 10/10 recommend trying it. They usually have street parking. But during the summer season it may be more difficult. But I have yet to have a problem. With small town charm and not your usual Jewish Deli with 300 choices on its menu, Goldberg's gets right down to business with it's short (compared to other Deli's) but sweet selections. I had a scoop of really good tuna fish and a scoop of good egg salad. My wife ordered what turned out to be a very good Reuben Sandwich which she rarely decided to share with me. Went for bagels there 3 times while vacationing in the area over the last 3 weeks and not impressed. 1st time they did not have plain bagels - it was 8:40am, ( they were out? ) 2nd time they had bagels but they seemed like they were box store quality and 3rd time - there when it opens -7am Sunday, and not a single hot fresh bagel- disappointed and for the $$ they charge, Sorry, but for the ones I did get I could do better at Stop N Shop frozen bagels and pay a third of what I did. I expected better. I compare this site to the Goldbergs in New City - which hands down are the best NY bagels that my family and I have had - so much that we ship them to our kids during college ! I grew up with bagels on Long Island and this is the worst bagel store I had ever been to. Overpriced to say the least.. the the manager, Laurie, rang me up and overcharged me by 10 dollars. When she went to "refund" me she just charged me another 10 dollars. It's a shame this place has become so disappointing. The food (was) great, but the management is poor. The attitude of the workers here makes it a sad and frustrating experience. The place is understaffed and staff are apathetic. It's supposed to open at 6:30AM, every time I go there they aren't open until after 7:00AM. Last time I went, they had just opened the doors at 7:15AM and had NO bagels and told me I had to wait 20 minutes for the grill to heat up to order a breakfast sandwich. The time before that, another customer and I stood calling out loud for about 5 minutes waiting before we realized someone was sitting just out of sight on their phone the whole time ignoring us.
