Excellent lattes and coffee. The servers will take time to explain the options and the process of roasting the beans. The cafe itself is very clean and there are plenty of places to sit down. Aside from the great coffee, one of the head roasters (Aaron) took lots of time to show us the whole roasting process on site and how he has trained over many years to discover and perfect his process. We were able to see the unroasted beans and the entire roasting process. The place is meticulously maintained and you can tell they take excellent care of the space and equipment. My family asked lots of questions and they never got annoyed, and seemed happy to explain everything. Can't say enough great things about this place and these people! Support this local business! Coffee was amazing. Food was good for the price. I know it's difficult in this area, but the manager really should consider taking some extra time to properly train the waitstaff. Luckily we had a lovely Jamaican lady named Grace waiting on us who was excellent, however three other individuals working there there either walked away without listening as I was halfway through a sentence, didn't make eye contact with me when I spoke, or answered in a way that made it clear that they were annoyed with me. I love this place. I have been to the Water Mill location and this is much closer to us in Southampton. The baristas are very friendly and helpful! I walked in there with my dog and I was scared at time thinking they would yell at me but nope!! They even greeted me with a special homemade dog treat for him! We ordered our coffees and the barista came out with a big bowl of water for our pup and brought us our coffees! I love this place and will be back every weekend. Thank you Hampton Coffee!! Walk in this morning...two people working...line wasn't moving..A group in front was involved with taking orders that were not being filled correctly..10 min later they ask the guy behind me what he wants,,and I was totally ignored...Been here a bunch ...service is slow...but this time I was soaked for 15 min and left with NADA. I always visit this coffee shop on my trips to Southampton, and I'm never disappointed. The place is spacious, given the cost of real estate in this area, and perfect for a book read, group discussion or a place to do some work on the complimentary wi-fi. The coffee drinks are excellent, as well as the Hale & Hearty soup options for lunch. Overall this is a great place and a comfortable place to be for a coffee and conversation, and I look forward to being back there soon. read more

More expensive than Starbucks and even though I asked them not to make my latte too sweet, it was cloying. I couldn't even drink it. Also not a lot of seating. They do have a nice selection of teas and baked goods though. I'd give them another shot. read more

We grabbed breakfast here when visiting Southampton for the weekend and thought it was a cute and comfortable place to grab coffee or a bite. They have every sort of coffee drink you could ask for---and this is what they're known for---in addition to lots of sandwiches/panini options (for breakfast and lunch) and loads of delicious looking pastries. Considering I'm a coffee addict and an explorer of awesome coffee shops, this place got to be the most expensive coffee shop I ever stepped in! Pour overs ranged from$6-8! The most expensive pour overs I spent on was $5 and that was in the city. Ordered large double shot americano, and barista filled 2/3 of the cup...overall, coffee was good, but don't really agree on these prices. With the same amount of $$ I can get 2 cups of high quality pour overs some where else. read more

I don't even know what to say - what a joke: $13 lobster bisque has two thumb-sized pieces of lobster floating in them. When I was at the checkout, I was surprised to see the price tag so I asked why they are this pricey - genuine question since most places you go, a regular cup is like 6-10 bucks. The assistant reluctantly said: lobsters are expensive. Two small pieces, $13 bucks, never again. The worst part: the soup doesn't even taste great! read more
