This was my first time to a hamptons coffee company spot. The employees were really nice. Plus 10% off if you check in! My latte was wonderful but INSANELY hot. I couldn't sip it for at least 20 minutes. No complaints though really. My boyfriend's iced mocha was tasty, sharp and cocoa forward. From the start, my boyfriend and I were surprised that there's a kind gentleman to assist us where to park. The ambiance inside the restaurant was very bright and welcoming. There were outside seating as well but it was already packed during brunch hours. The service is not as good as the food. By FAR the best coffee in the area. I am by no means a coffee snob and do not profess to know a lot about brewing. However! This is one of the few cups of coffee that had me really tasting all the flavors I never knew existed in a cup of regular coffee. I stopped in here a bunch of times super early in the morning around 6AM and each time the staff was super nice, low key and helpful. Just ordered a regular cup of coffee. At first I was skeptical about the quality because they served it out of a thermos carafe but I have to say the coffee is great. Added benefit is they had a lot of sweetener options including stevia which I prefer. Bottom line is skip the line at Starbucks and grab a local cup here! read more

I really like this coffee shop. A little tricky to find in Southampton, this is on the Bypass or 39A County Road. But worth the slight search. Very airy and comfortable with nice staff. The thing that's really terrific about this coffee shop is that there's usually parking and lots of space inside. it's just very roomy. Such a cute coffee shop! It's right next to the BMW of Southampton. My in laws live in the area and are loyal customers of Hampton coffee- and for good reason! Right when you walk in, they have barrels of whole bean coffee. We stopped today for my father in law to get two bags of the French roast, which he swears by. As soon as you walk in, you can immediately smell the freshness of the coffee. There's a couple of places to sit, and had a very relaxed atmosphere. I had a hazelnut iced coffee to go, which was nice and strong. Their pastries and sandwiches looked yummy, too! Bathroom was very clean, for those of you who, like me, find that important. read more

I'm just staying in Southampton for a few days to play a croquet tournament. I always need breakfast. I can't survive on just coffee, which is all that's being offered at the club. So I've been coming here which is close to where I'm staying. It's very clean and well organized place. For $10 including tip and tax I get a small coffee and an oatmeal with fresh fruit (bananas, blueberries, strawberries etc). I'm not a morning person, so I just stay for about 10 minutes at their coffee bar and then get back on the road for my morning matches. read more

Unimpressed. I ordered a latte and my milk was way over steamed. I'm sure the coffee is good since they roast on site but I couldn't tell due to untrained baristas. Easy location to find on he main road of Southampton. Parking is sufficient except for brunch hours where you'll find no shortage of upscale cars from Mercedes to Maserati. Cara aside, there is ample sitting space in the cafe. Ordering is painless with a pick up side area for short drink orders. Prices for coffee are comparable to Starbucks, and the coffee itself is brewed strong and you can taste it. I would definitely get it again. Also ordered the green smoothie. For a whopping $8 you can get antioxidant flushed into your system. I wouldn't get it every day because I'm on a budget, but it is delicious. read more

Great staff! Mediocre coffee sadly. All of the food is prepared offsite and mostly by other companies. Baking a frozen cinnamon roll in your oven doesn't mean you made it people. We were on the rainy road and pulled over to this gem. The Chia Tea Latte, Gluten Free Brownies and Chocolate Truffle Coffee are the best one's that I have ever had. Food is also served including a mango, goat cheese quesadilla. The atmosphere is relaxing. They even have different coffee beans in buckets to purchase. The staff is helpful especially Timothy. He is very kind to every single person that walks in the door. We are not the type of people who sit for hours and drink coffee/tea but 2.5 hours later we are still enjoying ourself. If you are looking for a seat, be advised that it is probably taken by a fly. I've never seen so many and it gives me the creeps. The coffees are good but the cakes are dry. A sandwich stuck in my throat like a dirty sock. The staff could care less. I'd give them accolades if they tried kill some flies. read more

As the price went even higher the quality went down, someone must have messed with the recipe, maybe I came on the wrong day but they didn't even look as perfect as the prior seasons, maybe too little baking soda, it was almost flavorless and too soft inside, something was definitely off, (for someone that can tell nuances) :( they're usually so so good. read more

A great place for breakfast in Watermill! Delicious and healthy options. It's a great place to stop on your way out east for breakfast.

I work down the street and Rich always makes the best suggestions for drinks as an alternative to the coffee flavor since I don't like Coffee. He made a great frozen vanilla selzter drink that was to die for. I too chowed down on a desert and the cheesecake was amazing. I love the new peppermint hot chocolate. It is well worth the stop and well worth checking out. Staff is friendly, it's clean, and relaxed with plenty of light and seating. I really recommend checking it out. Drinking my green smoothie through a paper straw was uncomfortable and gross. The smoothie itself was good, also had the mozzarella and tomato panini that was only 2.5 inches long. I really, really want to give this place more stars. I'm a local barista and it's very hard to find other good coffee shops in the Hamptons that aren't Starbucks.' But the last two time I've been in, the drinks I've bought for myself and others have been... lukewarm? If I can even give it that? As in, barely steamed at all. Keep in mind I've only has this problem with this particular location and I'm not sure why. Do they maybe have newer/less trained employees working the espresso bar? I'll never be able to say, but may that be the case, make sure your staff know how to properly steam drinks before you entrust them with the orders of paying customers. This place is okay at best, their location in watermill is better. Don't order an egg sandwich because they are days old really gross I felt sick after. When it comes to coffee, I ordered an espresso macchiato, (espresso with a dallop of foamed milk) when I got my order it was a latte (espresso and steamed milk) When I asked for a remake because the latte has way too much milk for me, they said a latte and a macchiato were the same thing there!? And refused to make me something else without paying more?! That makes no sense, why would they have 2 different options on the menu? This cafe is a pleasure to walk into in the morning. It is conveniently located right off 27 and easy to park and pop in. The cafe is spacious and has a peaceful atmosphere. I believe they roast their own beans because they have barrels of whole bean coffee on display that fills your nostrils with a rich aroma. The coffee beans are available for purchase and would make a really nice souvenir from the East End (something a little different than the same old nick nacks). I usually just get a large hot coffee to go. It is reliably delicious. I never have to worry about it being watery (eh hem Dunkin Donuts) or burnt (um Starbucks). read more

Surprisingly displeased with Hampton Coffee. Swung by to get a breakfast and coffee combo this morning. Their espresso wasn't bad, but their "breakfast" offerings...oofa. They had a lovely picture of a new offering of a nice, juicy croissant with ham, egg, and cheese. I decided to give it a shot. Completely false. It was a processed, pre-packaged panini sandwich which was greasy and not tasty. Also, they were out of ketchup -- offering egg platters and out of ketchup? Not good. For coffee ALONE? Not bad at all, and wouldn't mind swinging by for that -- and I realize most reviews are about that, which is fine!
