Hands down the worst service and food I've had in 2018. Friends and I sat at bar around 11:30am on July 4th and were barely greeted. Bartender was FAR from friendly. Ordered a $9 rosé and was charged $14 for it. The rose tasted horrendous and like it's been watered down. Ordered steamed vegetables that were soggy and totally flavorless and sautéed mushrooms that tasted water logged and had no flavor. My friends ordered avocado toasts, which they couldnt even finish. So looking forward to a post-holiday breakfast out, I decided to try Hampton Coffee in Water Mill because there are always so many cars out front. The reason turns out that those people are buying just coffee and a bagel or muffin. We settled in for breakfast and ordered. My friend's scrambled eggs were horrid, so overcooked they were tight little balls that tasted of nothing. It came with 2 slices of bread for $8. I ordered Huevos Rancheros Classic, something I have ordered my whole life wherever I go. This had to be the worst I have ever had. Two eggs on two minuscule soft tortillas with a small bowl of canned beans (not even warm) and a small bowl of salsa. That's it. When I broke into the eggs, they were so runny they were liquid. I sent it back. It came back. Worse than ever so I ate it because by now I was very hungry. There were no apologies from the staff and a really annoying cheery smile from our waitress. I am going to try and load the photo of my meal to warn you off. I had the Spinach and avocado omelette. It was good (nothing extraordinary), rather thin and flimsy and boy are they stingy with the toast - really?! Only one lousy slice of bread! The omelette doesn't even come with potatoes, and for an $11 omelette, the least they could do is serve it with 2 slices of bread as most other places do. On the plus side, they do serve a nice large cup of coffee and have a cute outdoor dining area. Coffee was very good. Lots of selections on baked goods, coffees, and smoothies. Decent prices on breakfast menu items for the area. There was a line when we arrived but it moved fairly quickly and we got our food/drinks in a short amount of time. There are limited seating but there weren't any available when we went. In the city the sandwiches are normally $12-$15, and these were $17 and $18. Although pricey, it is reasonable and understandable for the Hamptons. Coffee: I had the hazelnut iced coffee and my boyfriend had the regular iced coffee. I normally do not like flavored coffee but decided to try the hazelnut blend based on Yelp recommendations. I was not disappointed in the least bit, this blend just became my favorite coffee. Service: the service was amazing! I asked our waitress for recommendations and she was extremely helpful and quick with our order. Notice as you drive by Hampton Coffee Co, the air smells overwhelmingly like burning coffee beans. The stench this place constantly pollutes the air with seems to have nothing to do with the quality or taste of their coffee. It could, however account for the sour looks permanently imprinted on the employees' faces. Sunday morning brunch was my first time eating and Hamptons coffee company and it wont be my last! I came in around noon solo and sat at the bar. Tom greeted me and Sam was the server on the bar. They were both so welcoming and wonderful to me. The vibe with your staff has with each other really reflects on the quality of the business. I had coffee, oj and blueberry pancakes. Everything was perfection. The coffee was strong and hot. The OJ was fresh and the pancakes were amazing. They were right off the grill and the perfect amount of blueberries. Dear owners/managers I appreciate your care in addressing these reviews. I'll up the rating by one for your attentiveness. I love authentic Mexican and I do not care for Tex-Mex style "Mexican" so I appreciate the real deal. I liked the style of the beans with no cheese but I'd have to disagree with being stewed all day as the texture didn't reflect that. And the flavor wasn't there. Maybe my portion wasn't stewed as long? I did use the hot sauce which also happens to be my favorite so I was happy to see that. read more

Hampton Coffee is a local business that I encourage everyone to support. The owners care about their community and workers, as was reflected by their actions to close during the covid-19 outbreak. Most food establishments were able to stay open serving only take out but Hampton Coffee closed completely and was able to let ALL their employees tend to their families. When I asked for one & saw how much it was attempted to cancel it 2 minutes later & was told it was not possible. Mediocre brunch on the way back to the city. Wife ordered side avocado for $4 and got 3 measly slices. She also ordered side fruit salad for same price and got 2 strawberries and 10 blueberries.
