Pros: The bus itself Cons: Customer Service; I called three days before to confirm the returning date. And also called 8 hours before the bus is schedule to arrive to double confirm. Guess what? When the buss arrived, my party names were not on list. What a joke! To begin with, the bus driver was giving attitude to all overnight returning passengers. His facial expressions seemed like we had killed one of his parents or had destroyed his career. Terrible! I don't understand why people like this bus driver is still working in the travel industry or tourism. People who go to Atlantic City are looking for "good times," not to deal with any uncontrollable emotion or emotional disorder issues. I can give 5 stars for the bus, but I still feel 1 star is more than enough for Hampton Luxury Liner. This is regarding the service to and from the Hamptons I am a Hampton Jitney rider ordinarily. I had tried the Luxury Liner years ago and had an awful experience - but recently I was told the company had changed hands and so I purchased three Living Social vouchers - each good for one round trip between the Hamptons and NYC at a very discounted price. The entire experience was awful. One bus was 90 minutes late (September 18). Another bus broke down on the side of the LIE and we had to wait a half hour on the side of the highway for another Luxury Liner bus to come to pick us up (September 25). Another was over an hour late leaving from the city on a rainy Friday night (October 14). Almost every time I called the company, it was total confusion. They couldn't find my reservation. They had my cell phone number wrong. They had my name wrong. And they seemed unable to make any corrections that would stick. The bus was also at least 2/3 empty on every trip. So I do not believe they were "overwhelmed" by voucher redemptions. At $45 one way - this is a total rip off compared to the Jitney service. I would never define this experience as "luxury" and would strongly recommend they change their name to the "Hampton Agony Liner." At least this would give prospective riders a more realistic expectation of the actual service this bus company provides. read more

Slipping. WARNING: Never leave ANYTHING of value behind on a Hampton"Luxury" Liner. On warm & muggy Memorial Day Friday, I ended up on an apparent old bus with "issues" that Hampton "Luxury" Liner (HLL) must have brought out of mothballs to handle the heavier holiday wknd schedule. The bus had insufficient power to allow the vehicle to get up ANY incline while the A/C, overhead lights, or movie screens were operating - so you guessed it, these amenities were intermittent at best while we were trapped in hellish holiday traffic for FOUR hours (rather than the usual 2 1/2). However, I am just getting to the really bad part. My partner and I arrived in Wainscott, frazzled & steamed, after a trip with little A/C and no over head lights. As a result, we could not wait to bolt from this wretched bus, and in the dark and our haste to escape, I left a very important, bright blue, obvious legal folio of documents right on my seatback on the bus. My friends who picked me up in Wainscott told me that everything would be OK because I remembered this left-behind property IMMEDIATELY (i.e., as soon as the bus left the curb) and could call HLL's business office to alert them. In despair (but with some hope that my friends were right), I did phone their business office RIGHT AWAY. When a person there answered my call live, I was so relieved and I asked them to PLEASE phone the driver's cell phone so that I could go mmediately to meet the bus at a subsequent bus stop and retrieve my documents. They said they could NOT DO THIS. "WHY NOT??" Wouldn't an immediate call to the driver have been the most common sense way to ensure the retrieval of my personal property?!? %^$!! jerks. The dispatcher at the business office DID say that the driver would do a seat check/walkthrough at end of his run and turn my item into their Lost & Found. I was extremely skeptical of this less-satisfactory plan (versus just calling the driver right away) and my doubts were well-founded. Of course, despite my MANY follow-up calls to Hampton Luxury Liner's business office (which put a major damper on my holiday weekend), all their promises to "do their best" to produce my lost legal folio of documents, and all their promises to follow up with me about it, amounted to a big ol' pile of doo-doo. It's NOT LUXURY if you a) steam your customers alive, b) put them on a 2nd-rate vehicle with the possibility of a breakdown, c) provide no overhead lights so they can't see their personal property while they de-board in darkness, and c) FAIL TO TAKE A SIMPLE, COMMONSENSE ACTION THAT COULD HAVE REUNITED A FORMER REPEAT CUSTOMER WITH HER IMPORTANT PROPERTY WHEN IMMEDIATELY REPORTED. read more

56 minutes late. GPS "tracker" app completely useless. Had to call office for update on whereabouts of the bus. Got a bunch of lies served up. Apparently H"L"L is somehow much more impacted by traffic than the Jitney.... There was no update provided to passengers despite them having both my email and phone number. Very frustrating. Problem seems to be they have zero redundancy in their operations. Will be Jitney during the rest of the summer for me. read more

We expected drinking to take place on an all day wine tour, but a group on our bus was passing around handles and taking shots by 9:30am. By the second vineyard, someone in the group had thrown up all over themselves and the seats. By the last stop, our small group was being verbally harassed. By the time we finally dropped off the large group in LI, they started a physical fight in the front of the bus with another group that resulted in the cops having to be called. Basically, unless you want to be verbally and physically attacked while sitting in a bus that smells like puke, do not take this tour. Large groups (this one was 14) should be required to book a private tour so that all of the other paying customers have a peaceful day. The company apparently does not think so, and claims no responsibility for the awful experience. Not to mention, the bus stopped at the side of the road multiple times with no explanation given (at one point for over 30 minutes) so between the random stops, police on the bus, and traffic we didn't get home until 8:00pm. Had a groupon for round trip to Atlantic City. The bus was supposed to leave at 12:20, however it didn't arrive until 12:45. One would have expected the bus to load quickly as we were already behind schedule. However the bus driver took AN HOUR to get everyone on the bus due to his unnecessary questions for each and every passenger. He asked each one of us if we were staying overnight and what we paid for the tickets. Once we were on the bus, the driver was speaking to someone at what we believed to be headquarters, who was asking him the number of people on the bus. She did NOT ask or care to know who was staying over and what each of us paid for the tickets. This gave me the indication that it was not necessary of the driver to take such an obscene amount of time to load passengers onto a not full bus. Once on the bus, it was smooth sailing. However, we called the bus company to find out when the last bus leaving AC was and were told 12:10. However, when we went to the desk to find out where the bus was, we were told that the bus never came. The extremely friendly desk operator gave us complimentary Greyhound bus tickets to get back into the city. Needless to say, I do not recommend Hampton Luxury Liner solely based on reliability. read more

I've used this service twice to travel from the upper east side of Manhattan to the eastern end of Long Island. Both trips were excellent. The buses were clean and departed on time. There are several departure stops along Lexington Avenue. Snacks and water were included and each seat has a power outlet (3-prong plug). I appreciated the flexibility in changing/cancelling reservations, and the senior discount. Areas for improvement: the apps are a bit clunky - I'm not sure why there are 2 apps; one for booking a reservation and one for tracking your bus's arrival. Also the bus was overly air conditioned in my opinion - bring a fleece jacket, scarf and socks! Lastly, bring a bag for trash. There's nowhere to toss your snack wrappers. I'd definitely use this service again. read more

I'm downgrading to 3-stars because all the issues I complained about when they first started still persist 3 months later! I really do enjoy the clean, comfy, luxurious bus with power outlets at each seat and free bottled water / snacks, but we literally departed 40 minutes late for no good reason (scheduled for 12:20PM, driver stepped on the gas at 12:59PM). I was banking on their lateness and didn't arrive until 12:35 PM, but I got on the bus without any issues as they were still parked and stalled collecting Groupon vouchers (worst case I hop on a Greyhound at Port Authority if I missed the bus). The last 3 people walked on at 12:45PM, and then the driver spent a long time on the phone with headquarters tallying up the headcount before handing us our tickets. I was also a bit surprised this bus was the Saturday morning departure to AC on Labor Day weekend Saturday... yet there were still plenty of empty seats (I was able to secure my own row with no one behind me so I could fully recline). There might be some credit risk so use your Groupons while you can! They already killed their 2:30PM departure bus. Advice to management: I love this bus and I want to love the service. Please make sure the bus leaves on time... just have an extra person around pre-departure to collect vouchers and handle tickets so the driver can focus on luggage and passengers. Wow, the things people complain about... I purchased two deals off Gilt City and brought my Boyfriend, Mother, and Father on a wine tour in the hamptons. We had an absolutely fabulous time. The buses were great and very comfortable and our driver was nothing but accommodating and nice. The bus was on time, and they gave us more time than expected at each of the wineries! We thought we would arrive back in Manhattan at 6pm, and didn't get there till 8pm, and that wasn't because of traffic! We were just given a lot of time at the wineries. The breakfast and snacks were great to have, especially if you want to nosh on some pretzels after drinking a bit. My boyfriend really enjoyed the bacon egg and cheese sandwiches, considering he ate three of them. Everyone was extremely nice and all the service was phenomenal. I probably wouldn't want to pay the full price of $175 per person on the bus company's website, but the Gilt City deal was fantastic! To the people complaining that they had to walk from the last vineyard to the vodka distillery, all I can say is that you are ridiculous. Not only was the distillery not included on the tour, but the walk was about 5 minutes or less. Did you want someone to give you a piggy back ride over there? I mean honestly, grow a pair. Find something worthwhile to complain about, and enjoy life. All in all I had a wonderful experience, and would definitely do it again. read more

I bought a living social deal and have been trying to get a bus booked since i bought it to no avail. Customer Service tells me to keep calling back to see if they are adding buses, but nothing ever seems to change. I think it's worth taking the $12 loss from the deal after reading all these reviews sounds like management needs a course in how to run a business efficiently. I would recommend the book "Delivering Happiness" by the CEO of Zappos. They could certainly learn a thing or fifty. read more

I wish I had read the reviews here before purchasing one of the "wine tour" packages. Like many others before me have expressed: the bus was late (could have slept in); there were 4 that hoards of people were running between as each driver was given different directions and apparently none had the right list of passengers; we eventually left after 9 as opposed to a planned 8h30 departure (was never even given the choice of 9h30 when booking); we left the vineyard at 3h30 and was back before 5 (versus the advertised 6h30); the experience was more bus drop-off than tour (no guided information was provided except - look to your right, there are buffalos); AND upon accidentally leaving my phone on the bus and giving the agent at HLL my number, phone, bus driver's name and seat # the morning after I left it, I was not contacted for days. Once I reached out for an update, I was told that I could not speak to the bus driver as they "don't get them involved" and that if it hadn't come up 4 days later, it's likely it was kept, which came off to me as an admission that their cleaners and drivers have a habit of keeping goods left behind. I had not cancelled my phone in the hopes that it would be returned to me but that's apparently a never happening ending for me. Avoid this deal on groupon, livingsocial, gilt, etc. Even the discount is not worth all the trouble. read more

We decided to go on a wine tour for our friends bachelorette party. The bus ride included snacks and water, no breakfast sandwiches which I read from some reviews. Bus ride was going alright until traffic which led the driver to stop start stop, bobbing heads we were. The first vineyard was eh (Ospreys Dominion Vineyards) they provided plastic cups and didn't give new ones or cleaned it out before the other samples. Diluting the ability to actually taste the wines. We were there for one hour, they did allow more than 4 samples so it would be a good start for those looking to get more. The second was Jason's Vineyard for 2 hours and this was the only place with "food". They gave out 4 tickets per person, one lucky winner would receive a bottle of Rosè (it happened to be someone from our group). The wines were better than the first vineyard and they had proper tasting glasses and cleaned out your cup before each pour. Note, go outside to the patio area for tastings, they do not have a pourer, you'll get more than a tiny shot of wine. They also had a sheep and alpacas on the farm. Finally, we went to Duck Walk Vineyards for an hour. Also 4 tickets each, but there were only 3 servers so it was a little slow. Great wines, however, being a tiny female and asian, I stopped drinking after my 2nd tasting. It was a big space, which they could've done more, maybe a food section. Overall, this was fun, minus the poor driving and lack of food. I would recommend if anyone wants to try this out, bring a picnic basket. We saw some people pack food, which we should've done. We got back at 7pm, in the city just for reference. read more

This is the biggest ripoff to go to Woodbury. U think ur going to get a jump on the day by leaving at 9 and they show up 45 min late. And judging from the other reviews, it's clearly not just about traffic (which is what the company says - actually, their exact obnoxious words were, "dont u ever get stuck in traffic? How do u expect us to control traffic?"). It's clear they hav no regard for schedule which defeats the purpose of having one. And the care even less abt their customers' time. Awful, awful business. My boyfriend and I did the wine tasting tour for our anniversary and had a pretty good time. The bus picked us up in the city at 8:30am and we drove about two hours and we went to the wineries: Pindar, Walking Duck, and Baiting Hollows. The wines at Pindar were definitely cheaper than the other two vineyards but I have to say the Riesling at Pindar was my absolute favorite of the trip. At Pindar and Walking Duck we were given an hour to spend at each and then at Baiting Hollow we were given three hours. I understand that Baiting Hollow had more to do because there was live music, horses, and food options but I think that three hours was way too long to spend there, two hours would have been sufficient. That being said, that was probably my only complaint about the trip besides the bus. The bus was nice, had black leather seats that reclined and had complimentary wifi but I would recommend taking a sweater for the bus because it was very cold! Also there was no movies or breakfast given like I've read in previous reviews, I'm not sure if they discontinued doing that but I definitely recommend bringing a bag of food to eat during the whole days trip (and you can leave it on the bus when at the wineries) That being said, we had a pretty good time, got to try some good wine and sit in the sun all day. read more

Either I got lucky or they changed the tour for the 2016 season, but I had an amazing time and would highly recommend! I took the tour on 4/2/16 and maybe it was early in the season and there weren't as many buses going to the wineries, but it was such a great experience and exactly what I wanted. Not having to worry about driving, my only concern was drinking as much as i could! We stopped at three wineries - Osprey's Dominion Vineyard, Duck Walk and Baiting Hollow. Of the three, Duck Walk was by far my absolute favorite. Osprey's gives you a set of 4, with no other choices. The winery was a beautiful rustic feel - small but enough seating for our one bus and another group that was there for a bachelorette outing. It was a great first start until we got to Duck Walk and I never wanted to leave. They give you a full menu so you can pick which 4 you want to try. Everything my group tired was phenomenal and exactly what we wanted. From a light and sweet riesling to delicious dessert wines, everything was to die for. Unfortunately we only had an hour here, but I had such a great time, I plan on coming back to this winery again in the summer. It was a rainy day so we couldn't sit outside, but their outside was just as gorgeous as in the inside. The last stop was Baiting Hollow which was my least favorite. It was way too small for the amount of people that were there, but they did have hot lunch (while it wasn't great). We definitely over prepared for this trip, bringing chips and sandwiches as based off the other reviews, you needed to. However, there was hot lunch for purchase and chips and water on the bus, so you really only needed to bring yourself. All in all, I had such a great time and it was an excellent deal. Our bus was on time and got us to and from without any issues. We left the City at around 8:40AM and made it back to the City by 5:30. It was a great day trip and perfect for a girls day! read more

Bus was clean and nice, breakfast sandwiches waiting for us were still warm, the driver was nice, and it left on time. We also didn't break down anywhere. Had a great day trip. Even busted out a bottle of vino on the ride back while watching a movie. I think I even took a little cat-nap. Would definitely recommend. In fact, I have recommended. read more

On my trip from NYC to Southampton, on a 90*+ day, the air conditioner for the bus was not working nor was the microphone or monitor to show the safety video. I (and others) complained when we arrived. The woman on duty took down our name, but I have as of this writing not heard back from anyone...an apology, if noting more, would have been appreciated. On the way back to the city in the pouring rain either the windshield wipers were not working, or the driver just did not turn them on...either way, it was not reassuring! Next time I am taking the train! It is less expensive and even changing trains, almost as fast. Also because I live in Brooklyn, I can catch it at Atlantic Ave. Hampton's website says that they pickup in Park Slope and Brooklyn Heights but I don't think they do during the week because when I searched for times, it came back blank. Had it not been for the friendly and helpful Bulgarian students who work for them as hosts on the buses 6 days a week, I would have given this service one star. read more

I purchased a travel deal from Travelzoo recently which is also $149 for 2 at the Hamptons Luxury Liner. I'm kind of surprised by some of the previous comments below regarding the bus service, and I feel that some of the reviewers below are expecting personal baggage service on this bus. I think they are being extremely over the top gassed up about their own status. I had zero issues with booking my place on the bus for the weekend endeavor. I showed up at the bus station on Lex, waited for it to come, and boarded. The seats were luxurious and the ride was overall very pleasant. The seats leaned back, had plenty of leg room, and full leather interior. I felt like this was the best bus I've ever been on. The temperature in the bus was a little chilly but overall very comfortable 1-2hr ride to North Fork. I give the bus ride the 3 stars. As for the wineries that were chosen, it was very underwhelming. I guess I am expecting too much from New York City wineries in comparison to Cali ones... but we stopped at Pindar, Duck Walk, and Baiting Hollow. Pindar's wines are extremely cheap, and that's what it is. The taste was extremely cheap and wines were extremely underwhelming. I felt that with each tasting, the wines tasted like water. The tickets will allow you to taste a variety and sample of wines, but I think the quality of that particular winery is definitely subpar. Duck Walk winery had better wines, we purchased 2 bottles and the overall atmosphere was much better than Pindar. Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard was definitely too 'western' for me with all the people doing western dances and food was overpriced. The wine there was ok, but the tour of the rescue horses was what really saved this trip to North Fork. The horse tour was a delight and great to see the good things they are doing for rescue. In terms of getting Vodka tasting, we couldnt find where we were suppose to go. Overall the trip was good for a one day trip, I hoped for better quality winery and wines, but for people that are beginner tasters of wines and more value driven, I think this would be a fun cheap trip. I bought the groupon for North Fork Wineries. I am in between 3 stars and 4 stars. The bus was about 40 minutes late for pick up. The bus was defintely nice, clean. But they never served breakfast!. The rest of the tour was fine, but never got a "free wine glass" either, or lunch. Overall, i might do it again though, it is a good deal. read more

Beyond disappointed! My Friday trip was moved from 11:50 to 12:50 pm the day before ( theyupgraded me to my own seat ) Bus was 12 mn late and it gets worst . 3 pm bus pulls over due to mechanical issue and we get into another bus ( limousine bus) . The bathroom had no washing sink or hand sanitizers ( plain vile ) We didn't get to montauk until 5:35 pm!!! I have taken the jitney about 14 times last summer and they were ALWAYS on time and never experienced this . I was looking forward to try a new company that's supposedly a bit higher grade and it was a total waste of my day ! Staff was really nice but the experience was awful so never again . read more

The experience I had with the Hampton Luxury Liner (HLL) from NYC to Atlantic City was so god-awful, it has prompted me to write my very first Yelp review. I usually take the Greyhound bus to Atlantic City from Port Authority. I decided to try the HLL because I heard it was more comfortable than Greyhound and I wanted a ride directly to Borgata, because that's where I stay and play. I purchased a ticket online several days in advance and received an email from HLL confirming my departure times for both legs of the trip. The the problems began. In sum, the bus is completely unreliable. It was over 20 minutes late picking me up in Manhattan. I could have lived with that. But the return ride was simply a nightmare. I booked a ticket for a bus that was allegedly supposed to pick me up at Borgata at 8:30 PM the day after I arrived. I received an email from HLL confirming this. When the bus hadn't arrived by 8:45, I called the HLL help line and I was told the bus would actually be coming at 9:35. When I asked about the discrepancy, I was told I had to call the day of to find out when the departing buses were coming regardless of what time I booked for. I continued to wait. When I still hadn't seen a bus by 10 PM, I called the help line again and they were closed. I ended up taking a Greyhound bus back. To add insult to injury, when I called the help line after the weekend to try to get at least an explanation if not a partial refund, I was put on hold and told several minutes later that someone would have to call me back. Of course no one did. While the HLL bus is significantly nicer than the Greyhound buses, I strongly advise against using it. It seems that getting there and back anywhere close to when you think you will is a bigger gamble than anything you could put your money on in Atlantic City. read more

Great experience. Took a Groupon deal for the North Fork wine tour. Prompt pick-up, friendly driver, there was breakfast on the bus.There are sandwiches and for those of us eating healthy, tons of fruit. Well maintained bus with nice restroom, plenty of legroom, reclining seats, and the plugs for phone chargers worked! There was a movie on the way home but by that point everyone seemed pretty tuckered out from drinking. Prompt drop-off, even with traffic on the way home. All in all - worth taking the trip. read more

We were a group of six leaving Plainview for the LI Wine Tour with discounted GroupOn tickets. The bus arrived about 20 minutes late, but as it was coming from the City, we didn't expect perfect punctuality and were chatting away. The bus arrives and is plastic wrapped in a blue medical doctors advertisement. Unfortunately, besides unclassy, it blocked the view from every other window, which was disconcerting. Seats were comfy. My comment about the driver is simple; he was a good driver. Would it have been better if he had more of a customer service personality, sure, but he did the most important part of his job very well - drive safely! The DVD wasn't working, for which I was glad as I preferred chatting with my friend. Background music was fine. The bus was cool, so bring a sweater, but that is expected. The pick up in Ronkonkoma included an opportunity for a breakfast grab, a little extra time, no biggie. The driver kept us on-time for each stop. We discovered water and cookies in the back of the bus after the last stop, no idea how long they were there, and no announcement. His only information was to have a bottle opener to drink wine on the way home. Arrived at Pindar around Noon and then Duck Walk. Each stop was for an hour and that was plenty of time for tastings (5 tastings each) and purchase if you choose. Next was Baiting Hollow (30 minutes East) where there was very limited lunch available for purchase and live music. Tasting was limited to 3, which could have been more considering the three hour stop. Glad we brought snacks and could eat them in a shaded area, but you cannot bring water, as they want you to buy theirs. The rescue horses were nice to see. This stop was too long and easily could have been two hours instead. We left at 5:30. This isn't a wine review, so jump to the wineries if that's what you want. I would recommend to Hampton Coach that they trade one hour at Baiting Farms for an extra hour at Pindar which includes a Tour of the Winery. All in all, glad we had discounted tickets, could drink and not drive. Wonderful weather also added to our enjoyment, but once was enough. read more

Had a great Long Island wine tasting experience on the Hampton Luxury Liner in October. The on-board breakfast wasn't anything special, but it holds you over until you get to the winerys. I had purchased a Daily News deal almost a year ago for a round-trip bus ticket to the Resorts Casino and Hotel in AC. I finally redeemed it a couple of weeks ago and my experience with the company was not bad. I was weary about using the deal at all because of all the negative reviews that had been posted previously. However, when I had made my reservation, the CSR was polite and reassuring. The bus left right on time from 45th and Broadway and also from AC. The bus itself was pretty nice, with leather seating and snacks, water, and magazines in the back. Our bus driver, Sean, was very nice. I really feel that I had a decent experience, however, since my friend and I had gone on a Thursday. I believe if I had tried to go on a weekend, I probably would've encountered a lot of delays and even more frustration. The tickets are a bit pricier than what you'd normally pay and I feel like the schedule that this bus runs on is not as convenient as other bus lines. If you have time during the week, then I would suggest taking this bus line but I'd pay heed to the bad reviews written about this bus line. I enjoyed my own experience with this bus line but I'm not sure I would use it again and pay full price for it. read more

Took the Hampton Luxury Liner this past weekend as part of the wine tour which I got a deal for on Travelzoo. I was a little worried about seeing some mixed reviews here so I didn't really know what to expect but I had a fantastic time! My boyfriend and I got there pretty early so we were able to get on the first bus boarding for the wine tour and it left pretty much on time. We were given an hour at the first two wineries. My only complaint is that we are supposed to be given 3 hours at the third and we arrived there around 210-215ish and by the time we had someone from the winery come and greet us and give us our tickets for the tastings we basically lost a half hour. The 3 hours should have counted from then- we were told to be back on the bus by 5. Overall though, great experience. Buses are comfortable and kept clean, our driver was friendly and I enjoyed my time at all 3 wineries. We also did end up walking over to the vodka distillery so we were able to enjoy that- don't think many/if any of our other busmates did the same which is a shame since it was so close and a good experience as well (our driver did mention it a few times so I don't know why no one else really took advantage of it). I just made a reservation on the Luxury Liner for next week. Immediately, I realized I needed to return to NYC a day earlier for medical attention. When I went to cancel the reservation (within the hour of making it, I might add) I was hit with a $10 cancellation fee. Outrageous. NEVER book this bus if your plans may change. read more

Had to catch a bus to Southampton at the last minute and Hampton Luxury Liner came through! The coach was on-time, comfortable, clean and well-stocked with water and snacks. We h ad a really nice time on this tour, but just a few tips: Bring a sweater (or huge parka) for the bus-it gets insanely cold. Don't be that person who uses the bathroom on the bus. Everyone will hate you. Pace yourself-you will be drinking a lot of wine all day. Bring something to do at the last stop-you will be there for a long time, the wine there is terrible, and you need to bring your own stuff to make it fun. Bring a nice, thought out lunch and activities. We brought a whole picnic and cards and books and games, and we had a great time as we were prepared. They don't do much for you the whole time, so it really is all in preparing and what you make of it. Overall a pleasant experience, if somewhat unorganized and poorly structured. read more

Currently on this bus from the EH to NYC route. The driver wasn't very friendly greeting us, asking if my ticket said "luxury" or not. He also asked where my drop off point is. I replied saying 79th street (which is what I choose online and listed on my ticket). He gave me a look and said no only 72. I chose this service over another popular Hamptons bus service based on the close proximity to my apartment. While the bus seems clean, the curtains (if your seat is placed next to one) poke out and touch you. Additionally, I'm not sure what the point was for my partner and I to pay additional fees to pick our seats ahead of time. There were no reserved signs and each stop that we pick more passengers up, someone accuses another of sitting in their seat. The snacks in the back are a plus. I'll onlychoose this bus over other options if I have to or it's more empty. UPDATE: second time reviewing this, over a year later and changes have still not been made. I am currently sitting in what I think is my seat, but I'll never know since the numbers are not labeled. Why did I pay extra (per seat) to reserve specific ones when there aren't even numbers listed, or reserved signs? People constantly sit in your seat that you paid for and I don't even blame them, since there is no system in place. There was also SO much garbage on and in my seat pockets. Multiple food wrappers, 3 empty bottles of water, and plastic bags. UPDATE 2: after going 25 blocks from writing my previous review, our bus has "broken down." I am now attempting to figure out another way to get out east, last minute. I called the office and was informed by a manager (sternly) that she is not "authorized" to give refunds. I purchased 2 round trips to Atlantic city from Daily news deal if the day to board the Hampton Luxury liner which I took in front of sabbaro's on 34th st I was impressed the bus was there early We left on time, the driver was courteous,the bus Was clean, lots of leg room, wifi, electrical outlets, Beverages, snacks, magazines, restroom, movies And free headsets, and a pull down table, cup holders. First ride I had with this bus line was June of this year. The driver failed to raise the suspension of the bus which made it a very bumpy ride to say the least. All the passengers were literally bouncing up and down the seats for about an hour. No one complained as mostly everyone thought that's how that bus rode. The driver finally realized that it wasn't normal but didn't tell us that his plan was to eventually change buses. I did get a refund after e-mailing them. Gave it another go last week as they had the departure/arrival time I needed to pick up my wife out east. Bus was 25 minutes late. The driver lets a passenger board with a dog (out of a carrier). He tells her to place the dog in a carrier but she doesn't listen (he proceeds to drive). Now there's a dog (stunk like garbage) just roaming behind my seat the whole time. The driver then drops off passengers in Westhampton (unscheduled stop) without telling us (adds another 20 minutes). I was about an hour late when all was said and done. Didn't bother emailing them and posted this review from the link they sent me. I'll stick with Hampton Jitney. read more

Boarded the bus in Montauk and did not have air conditioning for 2+ hours of the trip. The vehicle was absolutely sweltering. Customer service the following day chose not to reimburse us citing that the AC failure was out of their control.... Id give this trip 3.5 stars. Bought this off a groupon deal and paid ~$80 per person. The trip was definitely enjoyable. The bus itself picked us up on time and was very comfortable. Our bus driver Tom was very pleasant and funny! There was water and snacks on the bus which were greatly appreciated. On to the wineries: 1. Osprey's vineyard: beautiful and small vineyard. The tasting bar was well staffed and there was no wait. The samples were very generous (about half the usual serving of a glass of wine) and we were given 4. All were great but my favorite was the Riesling. We were given a discount of 20% per bottle of wine so it was fairly inexpensive for a bottle to take home. 2. Duck walk vineyard: located very close to Ospreys and was a very short ride over. We were given 4 tickets and a tasting menu to choose from. The bar was very understaffed but the employees did not miss a beat. It was crowded but we were served in a timely fashion.The blush wine was delicious as was the blueberry port. I highly recommend the 2 to try. 3. Baiting hollow: this was the last and longest stop. There was hot lunch available to purchase but I would recommend bringing your own. We bought the merlot meatball sliders and the cheese dip: both were absolutely disgusting and were incredibly over priced. I felt sick after eating it! The house sangria was great and very flavorful. The live band was a nice touch too. There were stables with horses as well which was nice to see. All in all it was time well spent but I was a bit disappointed to see that it was just a tasting. There was no tours of the vineyards or insight into how the wine is made. That would've made the trip more interesting in my opinion. Also beware that this trip attracts a lot of bachelorette parties aka turns loud and drunk very quickly. read more

We had the pleasure of taking the wine tasting tour on Saturday Oct. 4. The weather was terrible but lent itself to a good thing to do in the rain. Complete chaos at boarding the buses on Lex and we hopped on to escape the weather. No one ever asked for our confirmation so I guess anyone could hop on that is out and about at 8:30 AM on a Saturday morning. We loved the stop at Pindar. A really well organized winery for groups this large. Really enjoyed it! Hated Duck Walk as it was terribly unorganized and unprepared for the visit. This was a regular stop. They were horrible and had no idea how to multitask! Hope to never visit this vineyard again. The last stop was as everyone else expressed. Much too long. The food was ok. The tastings were ok. But due to weather we were crowded into a small space and this is obviously a better venue in sunny weather. Overall, I would recommend this day trip. Truly can be a great day. J read more

I would give zero stars if I could. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. After waiting an hour and 10 minutes for an 8:25pm bus, a bus finally arrived (with plenty of room) and we were told we could not board without paying $31 extra because it was a VIP bus. The bus attendant called the main office and they verified that we should not be allowed to board despite how late our bus was. We were told our bus was 20 blocks away (still no explanation as to why the bus is so late) but it did not arrive for another 15 minutes (1h 25 min after original time) and there was no apology. We asked for a refund and were told no one in the office could authorize one at this time. Many Jitneys passed us during this whole ordeal. Will cancel our return trip and never ride again unless this is rectified! read more

This is an update to my last review where I had an issue trying to book my ticket. I went on my trip a few months ago and have to give the company credit for the trip itself and the driver, who was courteous and prompt. Aside from the problems in booking my ticket, which definitely lets the company down, the only other issue I had was the fact that when I got to AC and checked with their team there to ensure I was on the list for the bus back, they couldn't find my name. They also couldn't call the company for me to check so I had to spend more time on the phone with them, to check that I was actually listed to come back on the evening bus. Thankfully, that call was less painful and the person who helped me was pretty efficient. The bus ride itself was comfortable. The bus had free wifi, coconut water, bottled water, cookies and cheese nips. Looking at the total package, the trip was definitely enjoyable although I'm not sure I would go again given the hassle of booking the actual tickets. Still an option for those looking for an affordable way to for a day trip outside of the city. read more
