My roommate and I moved into Hampton Pointe in early April and we have been so happy here! Our move here was last minute because the previous location we were moving into didn't work out. Nicole (the manager) and Charlie were there to help us when we did an in person application. Charlie was new, but was very engaging and eager to help. Nicole is a complete expert of the property and we knew we were in good hands with her. She is also very personable and makes an effort to get to know the residents. The staff is super responsive and helpful as well. I know I can just stop by the leasing office for help or send over an email and I will get a response very quickly. It's going to sound cliche to give this apt community 5 stars right off the bat, but it has earned every star. My husband and I moved in during the busiest time of year, Christmas, and yet their service was top notch. I've read the reviews that rate it as a 1-star caliber institution, but those seem to be swayed by unfortunate circumstances that are not the fault of the Hampton Pointe property itself. Nikkie did her part in providing us with any and all information we wanted/needed in order to picture ourselves living comfortably in this community. We walked into her office probably about 10 min before their closing time hoping for just a chance to schedule a walk through, but with open arms she laid out the details of each unit available to us even if it meant accommodating us for more than an hour after closing. There was no such thing as a stupid question and she treated us professionally and yet, made us feel like we were reconnecting with an old friend. She made sure we were aware of any discounts we qualified for like the "Local Hero" discount you can get for being a teacher and really made the steps clear and easy once we decided to join the community here. It wasn't until after we moved in that we saw how well the Hampton Pointe team work together. Rene and Nikkie are on top of EVERYTHING. We noticed a broken base board in our kitchen a few days after our move-in walk through. We were nervous about what the office would think having to have work done so soon after moving in, but within the WEEK Rene had been to our apartment, assessed what needed to be done and scheduled the repair. Above all we appreciate Nikkie's honesty and vision for this apartment community. She exceeded our expectations and raised the bar set by our previous managers simply because, in such a short time, she got to know us and remembered details of our needs and quirks and made us feel like we always should have lived here and they were just holding a spot until we arrived. She notices everything. She's aware of everything. And. She. Cares. We're very happy here. Not because everything's perfect and nothing goes wrong, but because the Hampton Pointe team makes it that there's a solution to anything we're concerned about. read more

My wife and I made the mistake of not reading reviews of this place before we decided to move in. I will start by saying that we were in a rush to find a place because of new jobs that both my wife and I had found. The location is good for both our jobs, and that is really the only good thing I have to say about this place. My wife is a teacher and that means we were eligible for a 'teacher discount.' We thought that was great. We moved in on the 24th of September. Typically this would mean we would only pay a pro-rated amount for the month of October. Well, we did only pay a pro-rated amount. The problem we had was the pro-rated amount was based on market value, not our actual rent. So they got an extra $95 from us for rent that we were not aware we would be charged when we signed the lease. This was only the beginning. I told them I was going to be leaving a review on every social media outlet I have access to. I was so mad then that I decided to wait before actually leaving one. I didn't want my emotions driving my words. They have laundry rooms on site. (Two, to be exact) They use cards for their machines, which I prefer. Saving quarters can be a real drag. Well, the very first time I tried to put money on the card, I put $10 in the machine. When I went to go do laundry, the card said I only had a balance of $3.40. I told the property manager about the issue, her name is Leanna. She told me she would submit the issue to corporate and "let me know." It is now December 1st, and she has not even attempted to contact me. Not once. So, add that to the $95 they got us for and we're now over $100, that's only the beginning. The parking really is terrible. My sister's vehicle was towed. There was another $244 that we should not have had to worry about. Now we're at a total of $349 of unexpected, ridiculous charges, all within the first month of living here. No guests allowed here I suppose. We signed up for a 12 month lease. We are already checking out other apartments. As soon as the lease is up, we're outta here. I only wish I could rate this place negative stars. I have been in the office a number of times. I can actually say that every time I've been in there, I've seen other tenants in there who are upset about something that has to do with money and/or extra charges. We have only been here for two months. Only 10 more to go. But who's counting right? I will be seriously surprised to see any of our security deposit returned back to us. STAY AWAY FROM HAMPTON POINTE!!!! read more

Just to say for the record, this apartment company Arnel is one of the most corrupt I've ever come across. The apartment complex itself is beautiful, nice pool and jacuzzi, the apartments have dishwashers and central air and heat. Sounds good right? Don't let the nice things I've just mentioned fool you. Here are the cons: *Lack of parking. You are only given one spot for an apartment, regardless of how many rooms you get. *Lack of open parking. With the number of units they have, they do not provide enough parking and if you park. That can mean trouble if you come home late at night. But don't worry, there is plenty of parking in the dark lot next door. (No joke, the manager suggested that I park there if there is no where inside the gates) *You have to pay for all utilities. That's right, they don't throw you a bone, you pay for it all. *Rent is way too high for what your getting in return. A one bedroom last time I checked was around $1300! The apartments themselves are also very small. *They don't like to return security deposits. They will charge you for every little thing such as film for the camera. So when you leave, make sure you keep a record of everything. Please stay away! read more

Been living for the past three years Overall complex is clean and maintained. Parking-parking here is a disaster, I have a 2br 2bath and we only get one assigned parking. You buy a pass for the open spots (40 bucks) and it's first come for serve no guarantee you'll get a spot. Pool area-Stay away from Renting by the pool, no security on grounds and people are sometimes in pool area till midnight. Mind you they are not quiet, if you work in the am like most people not the best option #2 Living by the pool your apt gets HOT.!!! Sun beats it down and not to mention the suns reflection of the pool cooks your place. Yes you have central AC but by the time you turn it on your 20mins in a 90 degree hot box. I lived here 2yrs left for a few months and came back due to last minute living situation. I left my apt emasculate an did not see to much of my deposit back. Management-not sure why they do this but the complex never has steady office people. They seem to rotate every few months. Lease is up in a few months, for the rent we pay I know we can find a better community. Wouldn't go out of my way to promote this place. read more

So I lived here for 4 years and there seemed to be a new manager every few months, Maybe that's why the people in the management office never knew anything, when asked a question. There was constantly hot water problems there were hot water problems all the time, so they always had to turn the water off, which can be really annoying. The new manager with the bad tan and the lame red ink tattoo of a stick figure family (like the lame bumper stickers) on her arm is a total pool Nazi, she will come over and want to feel your swim trunks to make sure they are pool attire? I actually saw her call the cops yes the ANAHEIM POLICE on some girl ( who was swimming with three little kids who were all wearing swimsuits) because she was wearing a t-shirt over her bathing suit and refused to exit the pool; the manager was really rude and trying to kick her out of the pool in front of all of us neighbors, it was kind of messed up. And the cops really came and made her get out, I would have been so embarrassed, I thought that was going too far, especially because we all had our kids around. And yes they will keep most of your security deposit, even if you keep your place spic and span, they are crooks. read more

So an update. Month later, numerous calls to the Anaheim PD (some by myself, others by surrounding residents) Numerous complaints to the management by several people. Issue of the apartments that the Smart Home Tshirt workers are still there. The individuals are door to door sales trolls working for a company using between 4-6 apartments (each apartment 4 people) throughout the Hampton Pointe Apartments. They tend to gather in 1 or 2 of the apartments to 'party' until 1-2am or later... almost nightly. They gather what seems to be every morning for some pre-work "inspirational" pump each other up motivation talk. Sounds like a coach trying to pump up a football team. Problem is, these are not football players and this isn't a football field. This is an apartment complex. Not a business meeting place. They are the people you see knocking door to door trying to sell you TV/Security packages. Now they are renting here , which I think is illegal since they are a "corporate business" not some small 1-2 person work from home business. This is clearly someone trying to take advantage of the system.. News flash. Rent a hotel. Let these jerks act like this on someone else's dime. I'm fed up of having to call. For the amount of money these scum suckers charge nobody should have to call about anything. Two nights ago someone by the pool called the APD 2 times on these guys (or 2 separate people called). I had called, same group of people, just different location. They were at the pool I guess until like 11-12am. The sad part was Anaheim PD knew exactly who I was calling about....they still didn't respond. Been woken up out of a dead sleep more times in the last two months then ever in my life. These people just don't have any respect. Plain and simple. The reviews are so bad for this complex and this complex is so hard up to rent vacancies that they have someone working for them post a "Positive" review. Which has been reported. Pros: Walking distance to Angels Stadium and the Block, Nice pool, working fitness room, great roommate layout 2BR, awesome beach breeze - even this far in. Cons: Not enough parking, wood construction amplifying neighbors movement, dryers don't always work (leaving clothes wet) We chose this apartment based on it's website information when moving from Texas. We got a pretty decent move-in special (under $1400 per month for 2BR) and the staff has been helpful about any concerns we have. Although we are considered 1st floor, there is actually a garage under us (rented to someone else) so there are stairs which was unexpected. Some of the fixtures and features are older. The A/C is loud when it turns on/off and the stove is old but works. The patio is large enough to use for storage and still enjoy although we had to put up a reed screen to block our neighbor's patio. They face a corridor of patios that the sound resonates down but it's more about not having to see into their living room or watch their heavy-set kids play in their underwear every time we want to open our windows. When the bartenders moved in upstairs and threw a Sunday night party our complaints (and the guy across from us downstairs) were met with immediate action. They still stomp around like a herd of elephants and blatantly stare in our kitchen window for minutes at a time whenever they come or go which we're just starting to address but that has little to do with the complex itself. Overall, it's a decent place to live and if you wanna move here, let me know and I'll split the recommendation bonus with you! read more

I was interested in leasing an apartment here since I heard all good comments from friends who lives here. The friend tried to contact the leasing office for us to visit. We visited the place and get our cars towed. Who the h*** wants to stay here should not even consider. They towed our cars in 2 hours visit. When we talked with leasing office, they blame their partner West Cost Patrol. And i talked to west coast patrol they blamed towing company. Even worst, our car was damage so badly after tow that cost 10k$ to fix. This is what you get for coming in as a prospective renter here. Stay away from them. They kept passing the ball to each other in the office after knowing that they have illegally towed our cars and damaged it badly. I will totally look for legal advice against Hampton/West Coast and their To Mo company. read more

We did not re new our lease .Amanda who was there when we moved in is no longer there :)) New management is awesome I cannot remember his name at the moment but he was very nice and helpful. Parking is still not the best but it has improved. In the summer the flies are horrible make sure to keep all windows n doors closed. This apartment complex is very clean. They take care of whatever problems you have in your apartment very quickly. Thomas is so sweet n helpful :) Rene is also very nice. Pets are welcome . In the summer the pool is perfect and the club house is nicely decorated and it has a flat screen to AND a/c!!! Reason we moved was because we wanted a bigger place for our family. My husband and I have lived her for a year and we WILL not be renewing our lease. First off, the parking is lame. They have posted all over the complex that you cannot stayed in one spot, (even your own!!) for longer than 72 hours, yet, there is one car, a red Ford Focus that remains parked in on of the precious open spaces. It has been there for over 3 weeks! The manger knows what apartment they are in and refuses to do anything. The owning company, Arnel is shady. We were supposed to get $100 off of each month's rent for the entire 12 month lease, however they took $200 off of our first month's rent and jacked up the price for our last two months! This complex has gone through 3 property managers in the last 10 months and the one they have now I sincerely hope that they fire. She is INCREDIBLY rude and thinks that since she has been with Arnel for 4 years, she knows what she is talking about and she feels that she has the right to talk down to paying tenants. She put her hand up in my face and told me I didn't know what I was talking about and told my husband that she was busy with other people and she didn't have time to deal with his petty issues. The last issue, and the most serious still has not been resolved. I was 3 and a half months pregnant and I slipped on the paint that they use to paint the stairs. The maintenance person told us that it is traffic paint which is supposed to be used in a parking lot, not steps on a sidewalk. I fell down three stairs and sprained my shouldner, knee and back. I went in to tell the office and they didn't ask my name, my phone number or my apartment number. Needless to say, we're getting a lawyer against these people. My family and I moved in around June 2015. We honestly stumbled upon it trying to find apartments down the street, which were really dirty and seemed questionable. The Hampton Pointe looked a lot better, cleaner, more well kept and so we walked in to take a peek. We were first greeted by Ellie, who was so sweet and professional. We got to look at the model of the apartment we were looking for and were also able to get a cool little discount for my occupation. (Medical Professional) It wasn't much, but 5% helps were ever it can! The process was easy and quick and they were so welcoming to us, once we were approved, we got a call from the office to here the good news and were told "Welcome Home!" Now everything seems good so far and way too good to be true, I'm not going to act like there aren't some things I can complain about on a review for this place. And I'm not going to bad mouth them because the girls and the office have been professional and as helpful as they can. I will say that this is the first place I've lived on my own and I know I did well for myself. The community is quiet, gated, and they have security go around the perimeter after 7, (I've seem them myself). PARKING IS A PAIN! But I wont lie, sometimes we get lucky. I did have to park once at 24 hour fitness and walk at night to my apartment. That's the biggest ordeal/concern I have with this complex. As for the laundry, it would be more convenient to have a machine to reload the cards in the back laundry unit for those who reside in the back. I have to walk to the front past the gates just to put more money in the card, but hey I could use the exercise! I reside in the back, the buses are out at night and if you want peace and quiet try and ask to be put near the front I guess. It doesn't bother me none because frankly i like the background noise. On top of that, I can see the beautiful Disneyland Fireworks right from my balcony. Good view of the sunset, except for when its hot. Heat kinda cooks up real fast in my apartment.But, I love the central A/C! Neighbors have told me that their cars have gotten broken into if you pull your vehicle in nose first. Thank goodness, I haven't had that inconvenience happen to me. And really that's always a concern anywhere you live. Good/bad community. I had two break in's in a house we lived in La Palma. Big whoop. Get a car alarm and buy a bat. Any problems we had to fix with the apartments, whether it was with the interior or mechanical, was taken care of ASAP. Danielle and Ellie have always been so straight forward and helpful. Everyone in the office is always in a good mood. The maintenance crew is very friendly and always happy to help. The Apartments are always clean, and we have a friendly diverse community. The way I see it, the better we work together as a community to help keep the complex clean is important. It always well kept on its own. The pool is always clean. It is right next to the Angels stadium which is awesome cause we're fans! We walk to the games! :) There's never really any traffic, but if you have a concern with being around Disneyland, Angels Stadium, or the freeway (which btw the 5 is so accessible and that's one of my favorite things about this place). dont decide to live here and write a bad review about it. Simple as that. I so far love this place and think its a clean, nice spot to rent. Friendly professional staff. Only pain in my arse is the parking. It sucks. But i really love this place. UPDATE: My roommate's motorcycle was stolen out of our carport two nights ago which is when we discovered that the complex has zero security cameras except for inside the office and laundry rooms! When we went to the office to report it, they said we should lock our stuff up better. It was my mistake for not checking to make sure this area was safe before we moved in, but the lack of compassion from Arnel is sickening. I moved in a few months ago with a few friends and we all love it here at Hampton Pointe. Management and maintenance are friendly and prompt. The complex is well maintained and quiet. I have lived in California for 4 years in 4 different apartment complexes and this is my favorite by far. For the first time, I am seriously considering renewing the lease. Cameron, Nikkie, and Diane have all taken excellent care of us so far. Central Air conditioning is awesome!! read more

I moved out of Hampton Pointe a couple weeks ago after living there for a year, and I feel like the best part about it was the manager Nikkie. She was super helpful upon the moving in and moving out process, and just an absolute joy to chat with. I have a list of pros and cons about this place, and some of it is just personal preference. PROS Management: as mentioned before, Nikkie was amazing the whole time. I actually first spoke with Brianna upon finding the complex and signing the lease, and she was amazing too. Maintenance: The maintenance team was EXCELLENT. They always arrived promptly, within 24 hours, and more commonly within an hour or two, and at one point within 10 minutes, and did a great job. Management always made sure they had my express consent that maintenance could enter my apartment, which I'm grateful for. When my smoke alarm went off on Christmas day, they came in anyway to change the battery. Proximity: I'm not saying location, because honestly it's not a great area. It's not at all walkable, and I hated walking my dog outside the apartment complex. BUT it's super close to the Block and Disneyland, and I especially loved how close to all major freeways it is, the 5, 57, and 22. Cost: You get for what you pay for, plus a little extra. You get clean and well taken care of grounds, wonderful units, and the safety of being in a gated neighborhood (when the gates were working, which was about 75% of the time, it seemed). Disneyland cast members get a discount, so there are a lot who live there. CONS Amenities: This is more of a personal preference, because in general the amenities were decent for the price of the apartments. There are only 2 laundry rooms, and only one that has the machine to fill up the card. One of the biggest reasons I didn't like Hampton Pointe was because of the inconvenience of the laundry rooms; I prefer having in unit washer/dryer, but that's more my fault for not looking at other complexes. On the other hand, there's a pool, which is nice if you're looking for a good, clean pool that's rarely busy. Another thing that bothered me is that I had to go to the opposite side of the complex in order to get my mail. The apartments themselves don't come with a fridge or a microwave, but you can rent a fridge if you'd like. My last complaint about amenities is the lack of recycling - that's something that's very important to me, and should be important to everyone else, but there wasn't any way to divide up trash or show any form of recycling. Dog Policy: Was a bit confusing. They say that they only allow cats, but will allow dogs if they're ESA. When I was about to sign my lease, I was told to buy one of those online ESA kits and send a copy of the certificate and a picture of my dog to them. Then, less than a month before I moved out I got a letter saying that I had three days to go to my doctor and have her say that I have a disability in which I need an ESA, which I found bizarre, and I have no idea if it's legal. First of all, three days is not enough time to get a doctor's appointment, and it's ridiculous that we were forced into saying that we have a disability in order to keep dogs on property. I'm not sure if it's a liability, or what, but it's hella sketchy. Smoking: Up until a week before I moved out, my downstairs neighbor would constantly be smoking weed, and while the weather was nicer, I was unable to leave my windows open during the day, or else my whole apartment would smell like weed when I came home. I don't remember off the top of my head, but I thought that it wasn't allowed, per our lease, but don't quote me. Around the neighborhood it wasn't a huge problem, but there were always a few spots that reeked of cigarette smoke and weed. read more

ILLIEGAL Airbnb's. Horrible experience living here. Our cars were damaged by Airbnb guests staying on the property multiple times. Management spoke to us as if we were the problem when we were following our leasing agreement. Airbnb's go against the leasing agreement, as well as being illegal at apartment complexes in Anaheim. Fought the company for 5 months to get released from our lease, because they were knowingly breaking the lease agreement on their end. Made multiple calls to the city to file complaints about the Airbnb's as well. Parking is horrible, apartments are overpriced, and they do not value their tenants. I always steer family and friends away from this place. Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from this management company all together. read more

I had been living here for 11 months. I enjoy living at Hampton Pointe because the strategic location, good maintenance and of course good management. The Resident Manager there, Seerena Lo and The Assistant Manager Kurt are always friendly and ready to help you with questions or concerns. They can be reach easily via email or phone too. The pricing of the apartment is FAIR especially in comparison to nearby apartment. Their rental term are flexible (6 months, 9 months or 12 months) They offer me a very good deal if I want to extend my lease here, Sadly a new job opportunity force me to move out, but if I need to return to Orange County in the future, I will choose Hampton Pointe again. I'm serious conflicted on what rating to give Hampton Pointe. I am now on my 4th year living here. The beginning of the year was great. Every time I put a request in, Nikki would stepped up and get it done. For the second half of the year, while Nikki was on leave, the complex went downhill fast. At one time, for about 2-3 weeks there were 4 out of the 6 washers broken and 3 out of the 6 dryers broken. I reported it to the covering management, who stated they were already made aware of the problem. Came back about 2 weeks later and they were still broken. If you were made aware of the problem after being broken for 2-3 weeks, why did it take over a month to get them repaired? Along side of that, the trash cans were consistently full and trash was dumped all over the parking lot. It just seemed like the complex's standards were not a high priority as they were when Nikki was running the office. We never had issues like this when she was there. Yesterday, I received a notice on my door stating Nikki was BACK!!! It also stated the ground rules for living at Hampton Pointe! Thank God Nikki is back! Her first priority upon her return was stating the standards of Hampton Pointe. She kept this place clean, she was on top of repairs and she took pride in the complex she ran. I am giving this review 4 stars because it's the average of 2 stars for the time Nikki was gone and 6 stars for her return (yeah she gets above average stars)! read more

I currently live at the Hampton pointe apartments, I have been living here for five months. I have seen four or five different managers. The new managers are so unprofessional!! Very rude & no people skills what so ever! I have worked in management before and the way the treat people is so not professional. I will not be renewing my lease here! I agree with Kay. G they are pool Nazi's, you can only have two guest per resident. I have a 7 year old and she has her little soccer friends over (3) friends and the manager (Phyllis) came out and told me to leave because i had one too many guest!! The parking is horrible! They have more future residents parking then guest parking which is pretty annoying! My Stove is soo ghetto, when i moved in the manager at the time ( since they play musical chairs changing managers every few months) told me they where going to be replacing my stove.... Never happen, my stove is unleveled. So when i cook, my food is all on one side! Not very luxury to me! Maintenance and the staff is great! Cant say anything bad about either! I would not recommend this place to anyone! My personal experience here was the worst! Especially is you have a family! Apparently your children or your guest cant make noise here, because its apartment living so take your children and guest to the park, words from Phyllis the manager (very not professional) They should just make this place into a senior living already Phyllis will fit right in. read more

Hampton pointe is a very great and bubbly uptempo community which is diverse and very clean and close to Disney land I spoke with Terrance who was very helpful a good listener and addressed all of my needs and concerns that I had questions about and was a very fast worker who went from credit check showing me the place and amenities all in a reasonable fashion. And I will be moved in literally within a 48 hour time frame and it was Memorial Day and he stayed to show me the property. Nothing negative to say here great vibe energy and people. read more

Looking for a comfortable and safe place to live? This definitely isn't the place. After a couple years of renting, I must say the managers and staff really know how to make a false impression. Managers are clueless and only help out to their own benefit and can care less if your a tenant or not. Really wish I could at least say one positive thing. Glad we left this place. Parking is terrible, place is filthy, and there seems to be a lot of break ins there as well with no security or assistance from managers when tenants personals belongings are messed with. But they sure know how to act like they care as they do in there responses. read more

I have lived at Hampton for over a year now and the only reason is for the manager Nikkie. She had been on vacation and since she has been gone Brianna the assistant has been handling stuff but not to what Nikkie does. She makes sure that things are done right away and on time and we leave happy. There is usually no one in the office and it use to be organized and it seems like since she been gone things are crazy in the office it is good to know she is coming back this week. She makes the property fun and worth living here. Glad to say she is my manager I wouldn't live anywhere else. Don't go on vacation again we need you LOL!!! read more

I highly recommend Nicole, she made the move in so easy since day 1, too bad we cant stay at this community which is very quiet, peaceful and clean.
