Since our home network is more ethernet based than wifi, and we still use our CD drive, SD card readers, and connect devices and peripherals through cables, we elected the upgrade, knowing it could be complicated. Everything turned out wonderfully, and I'm learning how to navigate and use the new features. The upgrade process had a hiccup, but Dr PC Fix came to the rescue by immediately and courteously resolving things, while displaying their superior customer satisfaction policy. Last week, we were told that when we brought the phone in, the repair would take about two hours. Today, we dropped it off, and it took five hours. Why? The store was almost empty. When I returned, I had already shown my ID to one employee, but another employee asked for it again. Then, while confirming my email address, I had to spell it using the standard letter examples used over the phone (for example, "M as in Mother"). Even with those examples, the employee still had difficulty understanding and entering it correctly. It turned a very simple task into a frustrating experience. Overall, the customer service felt indifferent rather than welcoming. This experience did not meet the standard I've come to expect from Apple, and I won't be returning to this location.

If you come on a weekday, it's not too bad and you should be able to find a spot fairly easily. On weekends, you will find parking, but it may take some time. There are multiple garages to choose from, but I'd recommend parking at either Macy's or Nordstrom for convenience. This was honestly one of the most uncoordinated Apple Store experiences I've ever had. I came in with a very old laptop that I've owned for several years and just wanted to do a simple trade-in for store credit. When I entered, a staff member with an iPad was coordinating customers and directing them to different areas. I was able to speak with him within about two minutes, there were only two people ahead of us. We were told to stand near the laptop section and that a representative would come help us shortly. We stood there for 5-10 minutes, and no one acknowledged us. No eye contact, no check-ins, nothing. It genuinely felt like no one was coming to help us at all. There were several other customers in the same situation, standing around the phone and charger areas, seemingly waiting after being directed there as well. Eventually, I flagged down a worker who told me they'd get someone to help me shortly. A manager who was helping another customer, interestingly came over to help me within a minute. The other customer he had been assisting was calling his name, and I even told him it was okay if he needed to help them first since he was assisting them. He responded by saying he was the manager and implied he could handle multiple people at once. His attitude came off a bit cocky, which was put off. At that point, I just wanted to finish the trade-in and leave. He did help me process it, and I received $165 in Apple Store credit, which was nice. Despite the credit, this was one of the most unorganized Apple Store experiences I've had. I even came on a weekday expecting it to be calmer, but it was still very packed. I'd recommend visiting a different Apple Store location if possible. If you do come here, try going on a weekday and avoid visiting during the holidays.

Whenever I asked for a time estimate on how long it would take to diagnose my laptop or to see what's wrong they can never give me an accurate time. They always say a couple hours or the next day. They told me that they would be able to fix my keyboard in one day once it arrives, and I bring my laptop thinking that I can wait there a couple hours for them to fix it and then they tell me that they can't guarantee that will be done that day. I literally drove all the way home to get a phone call saying that my laptop was ready to pick up! I could had waited if it was only going to take a couple hours oh, but they couldn't tell me. They definitely do not speak the customers language or put them first. I feel like they're more in it for the money then going above and beyond for customers. I've literally wasted hours of driving back and forth just to get my laptop keyboard fixed. When I finally received my laptop, they fixed the problem, BUT added another irrelevant problem! My laptop's battery now isn't being detected by the system and isn't charging and has to be connected to an adapter at all times to function. Now I have to pay another trip to Redmond to fix this new problem! Absolutely more inconvenience on my plate! Don't be surprised if you bring your laptop here and get it back with another problem, because that's what happened to me.

The guy I was working with, Pat, worked with me to replace the hard drive, and now my computer is as good as new! When my family purchased a new laptop, Matthew helped my mom figure out the optimal machine for her small business. I wanted to get an extra wireless keyboard and mouse so I could have one at work and one at home and wouldn't have to carry them around. I asked about them in the store and was led to a plastic box that was filled with identical wireless keyboard mouse combos. I picked one out and asked where the chip was. This should have tipped off the clerk that I was not tech savvy. As I suspect many of there customers are not. She told me the toggle was under the mouse. I got the set home and did not see a toggle under the mouse (latter I found out she was saying dongle). I looked in the battery chambers of both the keyboard and mouse and did not see it. I called the them and was told to check the battery chambers of both the keyboard and mouse and once again I didn't see it. I was told that this would be a once in a lifetime that a chip was not with the keyboard. I brought the unit in and we looked in the keyboard battery area next. Then we looked we looked at the mouse and they pointed out a built in dongle compartment in the battery chamber of the mouse. I was never told there could be a built in compartment when I was in the store or later on the phone. I have since find some YouTube videos that explain where to find the dongle. This tells me I'm not that only one to have trouble finding it.
