OUTSTANDING Mediterranean food. It's a small storefront with a few tables. It was quite busy when we walked in for lunch which was a sign on the good food that was to come. We split a shawarma plate and a hummus and falafel appetizer which was more than enough food for two people. The shawarma plate came with a side and 5 salads, all of which were fantastic. The shawarma was so flavorful and we ordered an extra pita to eat with it. The pita was OUTSTANDING too. My favorite was the hummus and falafel plate. I am very picky with falafel and this was the best I have had in Vegas so far. It was fluffy and moist while the outside was perfectly crunchy. The hummus was fantastic too, flavorful and creamy with oils and a spicy herb sauce on top. The food was so good that we ordered a shawarma laffa to take to a friend for lunch which was HUGE!!! Easily two meals for my friend who can normally put away food. We ordered extra falafel to take home as well because it was just that good. The service was outstanding! They served large portions and were very friendly. When we ordered more food to take home for friends, they loaded us up with sides and sauces to make sure our friend had the same welcoming experience we had in dine-in. Hamsa is about to be our new go-to Mediterranean spot and will know us by name soon! read more

An update: We have came back after a month and the food is still great and the service is excellent too. So, consistency is definitely there. Highly recommended! A new Hamsa Mediterranean Grill has opened at the Conoco gas station, next to convenience store on W Flamingo Rd. & El Captain Way. The restaurant is small with a few tables, it can get very busy. But the service is quick and it doesn't feel too crowded. They serve kosher food, very fresh food, quality food and everything is served and cooked to order. We have ordered a few different items on the menu and they were so flavorful and delicious. You can taste the difference in quality and freshness. The service is exceptional. The staff is super friendly and we have felt very welcomed. Great place for reasonably priced kosher food. Great service and tasty fresh mediterranean food. I am so happily full right now- I think i can eat more, and I want to eat more! I had a Kabab Pita, and I am so very considering ordering another. I wish I would have thought more when I ate it. I just Consumed, and before I knew it, my pita was gone. But I'm not sad. It was so good. I do remember eating the small serving of pickles, they were yummy. The small serving of Hummus i ate with the side of French fries. That was a brilliant idea if air may suggest. The pita was so soft!!! It was sturdy too! I think i can refer to a pita as sturdy. You know how some fresh bread just has that no quit attitude? That was this pita! I was so fresh. And sturdy. There was a couple in here before me and the setting was cleared within seconds. Swear to god. Also the patrons that were here when i walked it saw me looking at the video menu and pointed out the individual menus, so that was nice of their patrons. The restaurant is super bright. Like all the lights in all the fixtures are lit. The floor has a shine from door to door. The windows are impeccable. Spotless location as far as I know. For real- it may have opened yesterday, it's totally clean. The staff is wild friendly, made my pita custom, and hand delivered my entire place setting. And as I type they hand cleared my table. The TV in the back is pretty quiet, but I'm not really paying attention. The are also Yarmulkes, so if you need a Yarmulke, they're here. Guess I never considered where i would get one, but here they are! Also the cans in the fridge seem to be in Hebrew, so, that is probably connected. I really think i need to order another. Came here on a Monday night for dinner. I had looked at the menu online before arriving. Upon arriving, the menu was not the same. No big deal, just something to note. Then ordered some shawarma for my daughter. No shawarma. Ok fine, so I'll get a schnitzel pita. I start to say what toppings I want and they were out of hummus too. Love this place. I usually get their falafel pita which has in house made fresh pita, falafel Fried fresh constantly, and choice of salads. Was wandering around town and found this gem of a restaurant! I'm from Los Angeles so we have a lot of choices but we don't have lots of Israeli restaurants. I decided to get the beef Kabab Laffa and OH MY!! Sooo good!! It came with multiple toppings that I never heard of. The cashier Nicole was awesome and so was the young cook!! They took their time to explain what every topping was and they were very polite. Restaurant was very clean, you could easily have a family dinner there. 10/10 he told me to try this strawberry/banana flavored juice they have. The food is delicious and very affordable. There are tables, but it's self serve and casual. A lot of workers in the area come in for an affordable lunch. The $5 falafel is a great deal! Kosher certified and Sabbath observant! The service is usually good although one worker there is a little irritating and stingy. Most of the workers are very friendly and accommodating though. I recommend the $10 kids meals for lighter eaters. I find them fine for me and economical. They let me have a cup of ice from the soda machine. They have some sides like techina, pickled veges and you can take small side portions. I recommend their pita loaves. Very good and affordable to buy extra. I've been here a couple times and gotten the falafel pita both times. It's incredibly cheap at only $5, and it's not some tiny little thing, it's as big as one you'd get anywhere else.
