Best Mediterranean food we tried here in Vegas. Highly recommended. Service is excellent!

    Reasonable prices!

Always a great experience here. This is a great place for lunch or dinner. You should go by yourself or with a group. Service is always good and the food is quality with quantity. White tablecloths and attentive service makes it feel like a fancier place but it is pretty casual. Go try this place.

A friend of mine who lives in Vegas took my wife and I to dinner one night. They said we're gonna eat Armenian food. What's Armenian food? No matter I was up for it and I really enjoyed myself. Sorry I forgot to take pictures because the food was good and I was hungry. Everyone working there was really nice. The atmosphere was a layback feel that made you feel at home. My friend did most of the ordering. We started off with a tomato salad and some cheese with beef. Then we had some hummus with bread and an eggplant mash that was eaten with the bread. The bread was like a pita bread. The portions are big so my wife and I shared a combo plate for our main dish. It came with lamb, chicken and beef with rice and a bed of salad. The meats were all so tender and tasty. I cleaned off the lamb bone, it was that good. I finished off with baklava with ice cream and Armenian coffee. Everything tasted amazing!! Lots of free parking and come as you are. No need for dressing up, just come hungry. We didn't make a reservation but I hear it gets crowded on the weekends so if you're coming on a weekend maybe you should make a reservation. If you're looking for something different for dinner while you're in Vegas, I really recommend you try Shish Kabob House. Happy Eating!!

We love it here! I give this place 5 stars! Their food is very good. They make the best hummus which is always perfect and served with plenty of bread! This time I had a gyro and my hubby had the Greek salad. I've had in the past their lamb chops which are delicious. My gyro was served with a salad and rice. You can choose fries or rice! My hubby's salad was so big he didn't finish it all. Their prices are just right too! To add to the delight, there is a piano player that plays dinner music from 6 pm on. He's very good!

The food here is great. Always consistent and great flavor. The price point is perfect. I've been to a handful of Mediterranean restaurant in the Vegas area. This is probably the very best.

    Beef Lula and Beef Kabob

The food was delicious overall. We ordered the mixed beef kabobs plate that came with one skewer of beef kabob (chunks) and one skewer of beef lula kabob (ground). We also ordered the combination plate which came with lamb chops, beef lula kabobs, beef kabobs, and chicken kabob. Both entries cane with rice and salad. The pricing and portions were beyond reasonable. The meat was seasoned to perfection and you can tell everything was made with fresh, quality ingredients. The rice was flavorful and well cooked. The lamb chops were alright. Nothing to write home about. I've had better lamb chops. The ambiance is inviting and laid back. They have live music on weekends. The service was attentive and friendly. Overall, it's a solid mediterranean restaurant if you're looking for quality Armenian food.

I came here for the first time and grabbed take out - lamb chops, beef kabob, and chicken kabobs with a mix of rice and fries. They had an event that day, so I had low expectations for food since they were clearly busy. But food was still good. My husband and dad loved the lamb chops. I didn't try any since I'm not into lamb. But the beef kabob was good. Chicken was on the drier side but not bad. Rice and fries were not the best of the industry but passable. Prices, food, service all decent. I don't think I'd make an effort to drive out here just for this, but it wasn't bad.

I have been coming here regularly for over 10 years. The food always fresh/flavorful, and it's a complete and satisfying meal. The portion sizes are quite large and a good value for the price. Most entrees come with a house side salad, choice of rice pilaf or fries (you can get 1/2 rice and 1/2 fries), a roasted tomato and jalapeño, and a whole pita. The service is friendly and there's plenty of staff, however the orders do take a while to come out. Expect at least 20 mins to get the main dishes. I assume the meats are grilled to order, and the meal service is just slower in general (typical European style?). It's not usually an issue. Just expect more of a longer sit-down dinner type of experience (or order for takeout, they package things very nicely). The restaurant is nice and clean inside. It's somewhat more elevated, like they use tablecloths on the tables. It's usually fairly busy during dinner time with several tables seated. It has a good atmosphere and they occasionally have live music, like a keyboard player. My go-to order is the combo plate. You get a variety of the meats - Beef Lula, Beef Kabob, Chicken Kabob, and choice of either pork chop or lamb chop. I've gotten their more simple variations too. I'd say in general, the kabob meats (whole chunks) vs the Lula (ground meat) can be slightly dry, especially the chicken, not overly so, and it's mostly because it's white meat. I still enjoy it though. Overall, all the meats are well seasoned and have a nice grilled flavor. I've also tried the grilled fish, grilled quail, and several of the appetizers like the Kibbeh, hummus, and eggplant dip. I've never been unhappy or disappointed by anything. Definitely give this place a try!

I don't often write reviews, but food this delicious alongside live music, it deserved a review. The place was fairly packed but we had a reservation for a large party and the service was still great. The food was truly delicious, the kebab was juicy, my daughter loved the Lamb Chops (aka Meat Lollipops), but my favorite was the Branzino! Full of flavor and also beautifully presented with well seasoned vegetables, I don't often find Branzino that's well seasoned and this was by far my favorite. Would certainly visit again and likely on a weekend to enjoy the beautiful live music.

    Beef Short Ribs

Our lunch was good, but not special. The star dish was the eggplant caviar with hot flatbread. Nice rich flavors and a sense of occasion. The short ribs were also juicy and delicious in a city with lots of great renditions. The rice was a buttery treat. Some other dishes were more forgettable. The salmon was a little overdone, grape leaves lacking flavor other than tartness, the side salads mostly iceberg. In a lesser food city than Las Vegas -- or even in an outer neighborhood further from Chinatown -- this could be a terrific choice. Given the competition around here, though, this option doesn't stand out from the crowd.

    Michel Y.

We ordered the delivery and still didn't receive anything. Called 3 times - they said we are on the way. We are 5 minutes away from the restaurant. Still is waiting for our delivery! How annoying. 1 hour 36 min. Adding extra information about the order: the soup spilled. Great!!!! Don't even want to call them and tell the issue. Dinner is ruined .

    Beef Lula Kabob
    Brenda M.

Have always really enjoyed it here but this last time I would say that the quality has definitely gone down and the prices have not. I ordered the beef lula plate and the beef and chicken lula plate. Service was great as always but the portions are smaller and the beef was a little dry. Wait time was also good even though they were busy.

Is the borsht made with meat?

Is there a private room that could hold a smallish wedding reception? Is there any way that the venue could work as a post wedding meal location?

I think that you can get food from there but there is no wedding stuff unless you ask to close it down and see if they could open that tiny stage

    Any gluten-free options?

Its a kabob place. 90% of the menu is gluten free. Meat, fish, rice (while there is gluten, its a different form than wheat, and most suffers of celiacs process rice just fine), salads, pickles

Are the chicken and beef kabobs gluten free? And is the rice gluten free also? Thank you!

I'm not sure what they may use in the marinade to make the kabobs so tasty. To be safe, especially if you have a gluten allergy, contact the Restaurant directly and speak with a manager regarding gluten-free options.

What to say about this place!!? It was more than a…read morerestaurant, it was a whole experience! From the moment we walked in and were greeted, with a Happy Birthday, to being seated in a secluded corner next to a little water feature that added extra ambiance! Our server immediately came over and greeted us with a bowl and warm flowery water to rinse our hands. He explained how the courses worked, and asked if we'd like cocktails- we had the white wine seasonal sangria and it was delicious! Fresh and fruity! The dancers came out before our first course and the music was really loud- like thumping my seat loud... probably the only thing I would have like done differently. The first course came out and it was shrimp scampi with homemade bread - the shrimp was enough to serve at least 3 people- and it was tasty with lots of flavor! The next course was a lentil soup , served in a bowl with no utensils, and we were told to drink out of the bowl. This was also very flavorful! It was filling so I only took a couple sips of mine to leave room for the food to come! The next course they brought out was a tower of Hummus Baba Ghannouj Moroccan style olives, cucumbers & carrots, along with crispy pita Next was the Beef Kabob served on a skewer stabbed in a pineapple with dry ice for a spectacular presentation. The meat was so tender you could cut it with the fork! It was so much food it could have fed our family of 4, but it was just me and my husband! The last savory food item was the Moroccan Couscous & Chicken Platter- this chicken was so tender it fell off the bone when I picked it up with my fork- it was deliciously flavorful with middle eastern spices!! And the couscous were cooked perfectly! Lastly, they brought out a desert along with tambourines and drums and bright lights and sang a happy birthday song to me! The cake was not my favorite- but it was cute with a design on top It was a Moroccan pastry stuffed with bananas, nuts & chocolate topped with powdered sugar & cinnamon. They served it along with a sweet hot delicious mint tea! The dancers came out about every 20-30 minutes and they were beautiful and interactive with the crowd, asking diners if they'd like to get up and belly dance with them.... It was very fun to watch! We had a wonderful time, we would definitely go back! Next time on an empty stomach, and with the ability to take our leftovers home!! Highly recommend!!!

The sounds, the smells, the atmosphere were all beautiful. We were seated and the first thing they do is bring over a beautiful basin to wash our hands in. They poured rosewater over our hands. Such a beautiful experience. They had a pre fixe menu and everything sounded so wonderful. We started with the shrimp, scampi and bread. The shrimp was buttery and garlicky and delicious. And the bread was a big fluffy loaf of delicious deliciously baked bread. We used the bread to sop up the juices from the scampi. Next team, the lentil soup. I've always loved lentil soup, and this was next level soup. So tasty so intriguing the different flavors. Next came the tower of dips and spreads. I've never been a fan of baba ghanoush. But I tried this one and now I am a fan. The baba ghanoush and the Greek yogurt and the hummus and the garlic spread. We're all so beautiful. And the pickled vegetables were amazing. I've never had a carrot pickled like that. It was so juicy and tasty. Next came our entrée of beef kebabs, and chicken. The presentation was beautiful. The kebabs were in a pineapple. The chicken was tender and juicy and succulent. The beef kebabs were tender and juicy. Then dessert came out. A beautiful banana dessert. And they even sing happy birthday to my boyfriend. The atmosphere and ambience are wonderful. They have dancers come out about every 30 minutes. It was amazing. I will be back.

This review is for Las Vegas Restaurant Week…read more This restaurant week set meal was truly amazing. It's been a long time since I've been wowed by a restaurant. I highly recommend everyone try their lunch. The price is incredibly reasonable, and the food quality is top-notch! For an appetizer, a whole fish entree, and a dessert, the Restaurant Week special is only 40 bucks! Even if you can't make it out to taste the food during Restaurant Week, their usual lunch prix fixe (with the same dishes) is only 45 bucks. Compared to the Mayfair Supper Club I just went to, this place handles their fish remarkably well. It perfectly retained the tenderness and juiciness of the fish, and the skin and edges had a bit of charred, fire-roasted aroma. It left me thinking with great satisfaction: this is exactly how fish should be prepared--simple! The octopus appetizer was also incredibly tender with absolutely no fishy taste. The kitchen's grilling technique and heat control are just exceptionally well-handled. I also quite liked their dessert, Greek yogurt and candied orange peel. I think using orange peel has an advantage: even though it's been candied, it still retains the natural bitterness of the peel, so it's not overly sweet. Speaking of olive oil, the olive oil at this place deserves a shout-out too. It has a very strong grassy aroma and a distinct, pleasant bitterness with a sweet aftertaste. We also added an order of their signature appetizer, which is thinly sliced zucchini and eggplant fried and stacked into a tower. It was seriously so crispy and delicious!!! And very eye-catching! This dish is great for sharing, though it did get a little greasy toward the end, since it is fried after all. This single appetizer costs a whopping 41 bucks! It's even more expensive than the Restaurant Week set menu! But it's super eye-catching and tastes great! Oh well, let them have my money.

Opa, No!…read more Review: So The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill popped up practically in my backyard--right there next to Whole Foods on Sahara and Town Center. How could I not try it? Now, I'll be honest: my favorite Greek spot is Meráki, and when we go there, we're known for ordering--wait for it--a hamburger. Yes, a Greek hamburger! Meráki's is amazing, and turns out, The Great Greek's burger is also a flavor bomb. Whatever Greek seasoning magic they sprinkle on that meat patty gives it a char-grilled punch that hits the spot. We rounded out our takeout with a Greek salad--nothing groundbreaking, but fresh, crisp, and just what you'd expect. The Greek rice? Meh, a bit underwhelming--fine, but won't be stealing the show at any Greek wedding. Now, the spanakopita... oof. Imagine one giant puff pastry with not much spinach or feta flavor--it was a one-and-done situation. Service-wise, it's a fast-casual setup: order at the counter, grab a seat if you like, but it's not aiming for ambiance. Think more quick bite than Mediterranean getaway. Overall, would I return? Probably not when Meráki is just 10 minutes down the road. But if I'm craving that Greek burger and I'm in a pinch, well... I know where to go!
