Hubby ordered the beef kabob and they were good and tasty as well. Service was great, food came promptly considering they have an event and with large groups going on. I highly recommend this spot. My friend who lives in vegas took me here and I was very happy. The restaurant itself is very cozy and clean. Their service is great, our server is very attentive to our needs. They are very fast to refill my water :). Food: omggggggg their chicken noodle soup and borscht soup are prob one of the best I ever have. I came here after recovery from food illness and it was very nourishing. We tried this restaurant for the first time about a week ago, and our server was Sophie (I believe that's how her name is spelled). She was fantastic--attentive, friendly, and consistently checked on us throughout the meal. She kept our water glasses full, made sure we had everything we needed, and provided excellent service. The food was also very good, which is why we decided to come back the following week for lunch. On our second visit, the food was just as good, but unfortunately the service was not. We had a different server who took our order, brought out our food, and only checked on us once during the meal. While it wasn't a terrible experience, it was a noticeable difference compared to the outstanding service we received from Sophie. We ended up having to flag down another server just to get to-go boxes, a water refill, and our check. What made it more disappointing was that the restaurant wasn't busy, and several servers appeared to be standing and talking near the front by the register instead of checking on their tables. Overall, the food has been consistently very good, but the quality of the service seems to depend on which server you have. We hope our second experience was just an exception because we'd like to continue coming back. read more

A friend of mine who lives in Vegas took my wife and I to dinner one night. They said we're gonna eat Armenian food. What's Armenian food? No matter I was up for it and I really enjoyed myself. Sorry I forgot to take pictures because the food was good and I was hungry. Everyone working there was really nice. The atmosphere was a layback feel that made you feel at home. My friend did most of the ordering. We started off with a tomato salad and some cheese with beef. Then we had some hummus with bread and an eggplant mash that was eaten with the bread. The bread was like a pita bread. The portions are big so my wife and I shared a combo plate for our main dish. It came with lamb, chicken and beef with rice and a bed of salad. The meats were all so tender and tasty. I cleaned off the lamb bone, it was that good. I finished off with baklava with ice cream and Armenian coffee. Everything tasted amazing!! Lots of free parking and come as you are. No need for dressing up, just come hungry. We didn't make a reservation but I hear it gets crowded on the weekends so if you're coming on a weekend maybe you should make a reservation. We love it here! I give this place 5 stars! Their food is very good. They make the best hummus which is always perfect and served with plenty of bread! This time I had a gyro and my hubby had the Greek salad. I've had in the past their lamb chops which are delicious. My gyro was served with a salad and rice. You can choose fries or rice! I have been coming here regularly for over 10 years. The food always fresh/flavorful, and it's a complete and satisfying meal. The portion sizes are quite large and a good value for the price. Most entrees come with a house side salad, choice of rice pilaf or fries (you can get 1/2 rice and 1/2 fries), a roasted tomato and jalapeño, and a whole pita. The service is friendly and there's plenty of staff, however the orders do take a while to come out. Expect at least 20 mins to get the main dishes. I assume the meats are grilled to order, and the meal service is just slower in general (typical European style?). It's not usually an issue. Just expect more of a longer sit-down dinner type of experience (or order for takeout, they package things very nicely). The restaurant is nice and clean inside. It's somewhat more elevated, like they use tablecloths on the tables. It's usually fairly busy during dinner time with several tables seated. It has a good atmosphere and they occasionally have live music, like a keyboard player. My go-to order is the combo plate. You get a variety of the meats - Beef Lula, Beef Kabob, Chicken Kabob, and choice of either pork chop or lamb chop. I've gotten their more simple variations too. I'd say in general, the kabob meats (whole chunks) vs the Lula (ground meat) can be slightly dry, especially the chicken, not overly so, and it's mostly because it's white meat. I still enjoy it though. Overall, all the meats are well seasoned and have a nice grilled flavor. I've also tried the grilled fish, grilled quail, and several of the appetizers like the Kibbeh, hummus, and eggplant dip. I've never been unhappy or disappointed by anything. We've only order to-go here however, their dining experience looks like a very nice date-night idea. I love all their food. All their meat plates w/ rice are my 5 year old's favorites. On July 10th, I went to dinner at Shish Kabob. I have been a regular customer for quite some time and usually visit because of the food, while the service has generally been acceptable. However, on this particular night, nobody seemed to care about our table. Two tables that were seated after us received their meals, finished eating, and left before we were properly attended to. The worst part was when I called over one of the servers. A short, skinny female server responded with a very unpleasant attitude. The food was actually pretty good, as always--flavorful and cooked well. Unfortunately, the service was disappointing. It took a long time to get anyone's attention, and the overall experience felt inattentive and unprofessional. Decent food, but the service needs significant improvement. read more

The place was fairly packed but we had a reservation for a large party and the service was still great. The food was truly delicious, the kebab was juicy, my daughter loved the Lamb Chops (aka Meat Lollipops), but my favorite was the Branzino! Full of flavor and also beautifully presented with well seasoned vegetables, I don't often find Branzino that's well seasoned and this was by far my favorite. The short ribs were also juicy and delicious in a city with lots of great renditions. The rice was a buttery treat. Some other dishes were more forgettable. The salmon was a little overdone, grape leaves lacking flavor other than tartness, the side salads mostly iceberg. In a lesser food city than Las Vegas -- or even in an outer neighborhood further from Chinatown -- this could be a terrific choice. I'm very disappointed with the service we received today. I completely understand that it's Easter and that it can be a busy time, but the lack of communication was not acceptable. It felt like the focus was mainly on customers with reservations, while we waited for over an hour without any updates. Staff continued to pass by our table without checking in or offering any information. We tried to be patient and understanding, but after such a long wait, we had to ask whether the food we ordered would even be served. There were 4 of us, and not a single dish came out during that time. Even a simple greeting or acknowledgment would have been greatly appreciated. We also noticed other guests arriving and being served while we were still waiting, which added to the frustration. I truly enjoy their food here and I buy it here , but with the experience today it's very disappointing. I came all the way from Vancouver, Washington. The only places with food this delicious are Kabob City Grill and here.

Starting with the good stuff: The lamb rack was sooooo good. The meat was so tender and juicy, and it was surprisingly very mild in terms of having a "gamey" flavor, which is great for those who aren't a fan of lamb for this reason. The appetizers are also . Get the eggplant, you won't regret it. On to the bad... the service is inappropriately slow. It took at least 20-30 minutes to receive the actual entree after getting the appetizers. It wasn't even that busy the night we went. We found ourselves drinking a couple glasses of water and trying to make our appetizers last the entire duration of the wait. All of their entrees come with a choice of rice or fries, along with a salad, and some nice warm pita bread. I ordered the Lamb Chops, and oh boy were they delicious. Flavorful and tender, but the best part was the price of just $24! That's for four! You cannot find that anywhere. My wife ordered the Beef Short Ribs, and they too were tender and tasty. Our friend ordered the Chicken and Beef Kabobs, and he said they were delicious. Of course, we shared a nice bottle of Cabernet, which made the meal all the much better. The service was outstanding, and they kept our water refilled throughout the meal. For tasty Mediterranean food, without the usual high costs, give Shish Kabob House a try. I gave this restaurant five stars even though I shouldn't but the food at this restaurant has the best shish kababs in all of Las Vegas. I have been going here for years and the food has never changed, it's always absolutely delicious. However, my waitress today left me speechless. Today April 5 I walked in at two minutes to noon ordered as usual my chicken kebabs and the waitress a blonde woman with a ponytail told me it would be 45 minutes. I didn't really have anything to do so I said that's fine. After an hour, I asked her was I gonna get my shish kebabs or did they forget about me or what? She said oh no, they're coming. In the meantime, the two other dark haired waitresses both asked me did I need more water, one brought me bread, and in the meantime, my waitress just kept walking by me avoiding eye contact. Finally 15 minutes later I asked am I gonna get fed today or not. She said OK I'll take care of it and within two minutes my shish kebabs were there. This was at 1:17 PM an hour and 19 minutes after I put in my order They were delicious and I was quite happy with my meal. Now I'm finished 15 minutes goes by the waitress never came back. She never asked I did I want water. Did I want bread? Did I want anything finally, the manager or owner or whoever he was came up and asked what he could do for me cause he kept seeing me looking around waiting for my waitress. I said I'd like my check and he immediately got it for me. I've finally got out the door about 1:45 almost 2 hours after I entered the restaurant and now that I've written this bad review I know I can never return. Anyway, I feel better for having written it and remember before you don't go to this restaurant, for this type of food remember it's the best in Las Vegas Vegas read more

Amazing! One of my fav places to eat. It is a drive from me but I don't mind it because the food is so good. I wish the eastern location had stayed open, I'd be there all the time! This restaurant stays busy but the dining area is large and there are plenty of tables. They keep a piano and stage for live music in the evenings. The servers are kind and attentive. The food does take a bit to come out but that's because everything is fresh and comes out hot off the grill. The portions are large and unlike many places, their prices have remained the same throughout the years (I've been coming here for over ten years!) I've had their lamb kabob, beef kabob, shrimp and salmon kabob, and veal. All excellent and perfectly seasoned. 100000% recommend for fresh and authentic Mediterranean dishes! read more
