I stopped by Hana Grill to grab lunch when I was at Sherman Oaks Galleria. It been like 10 years since I last came here because I used to work in the Galleria where this place is at. You order your food from the kiosk now so there no one at the counter. I went with the teriyaki chicken bowl. They have the side bar on the left of the kiosk. They also have the soda fountain there as well. There not a lot of seating inside but there outdoor seating in the galleria. It didn't take them long to make my food and I took it home to eat. They didn't give much chicken in the bowl. You get a lot of rice and veggies. I added the spicy cucumber from the side bar and it was delicious. I like my bowl but the portion of the chicken wasn't a lot. read more

Meh, this is definitely the cheaper option in this galleria for sure, compared to more expensive restaurants like Cheesecake Factory, PF changs, etc. however the quality does taste cheap so don't expect an amazing meal. I got the bento box for $16 and it did come with a lot of food and you got to choose from a lot of options. The only thing I truly did not like about this place was the service. We come in and were redirected right away to the Kiosk to order ourselves. There was no greeting, just a Hi we're busy so do everything yourself, oh and we're still going to ask for a tip. Next was when we were looking for the straws they were behind the counter and there was no one there so naturally we went behind the counter to grab some straws, they told us we weren't allowed behind the counter yet still didn't try to assist to help get the straws, so we had to go back around and bend all the way over the counter to grab them ourselves. Get the Vibe? Like seriously I get more customer service at fast food places. Overall I was not very happy with my experience here, the food was meh, the service was bad. If you want something cheap go here but if you want an overall good experience worth your money go to one of the many better restaurants in the galleria. read more

I fell in love with this place when I discovered it in the Topanga Mall. I was devastated when they left but I was so relieved when I found it again in Sherman Oaks. I went back the other day and I was truly disappointed. 80% of the menu is gone and the prices are sky high. All the wonderful soups and noodle dishes are gone. I settled on the salmon bowl and although it was edible it just wasn't the same. My fish was overcooked and the entree was mostly rice and cabbage. Not pictured are the california rolls and I have to say... just yuk. Huge mushy cucumber chunks in the middle. The wasabi and saracha sauce had no kick at all. I'm sad I won't be coming back anymore. Bring the old menu/recipies back this is horrible. -Just to clarify- this wasn't my first trip back in 10 years, I hadn't been back in maybe 2 or 3. The prices in that time have indeed gone sky and the quality has really gone down. I'm also familiar the old menu, I said the soups and noodle dishes were gone. read more

If you're charging your electric car in the Galleria Mall, this is the ONLY place to get good and tasty food. Hidden gem, Hana Grill has seriously good and very authentic japanese cuisine and nice service in a clean space. We had tuna and veggie rolls, spring rolls, salad and tempura. Very flavorful. We will be back for more next time we're charging the car here. read more

I've always found Hana to be solid for teriyaki bowls. Sushi is ok. It was nice I could customize my bowl with chicken breast only and sauce on the side. There's plenty of seating inside and we got our food pretty quick. I love all of the condiments they have available! Hana is a great place to a quick bite before the movies or between shopping. You can eat pretty healthy here. Their salad is also very good! Service was friendly and food tastes really fresh. I wish there was a little more variety in their steamed veggies, as it was mostly cabbage with like three pieces of broccoli. read more

It is one of the longest if not the longest lasting small food businesses in the Galleria if that is a testament at all to how good it is! To this day I have never had a better teriyaki bowl! They have always had the best slaw ever that really makes their bowls stand out! On top of that, the selection is very broad and they have a bar with fun complimentary veggies to add to your order. They have even added several trendy(yet authentic) drinks to their menu since I last came here! It's been great coming here as an adult to try more of the items that I was too picky to try as a kid.
